Housewarming Sex?
A message suddenly popped up from Yoonah.
Possible!
Right after, a message came from Shin Juyeon too, sounding a bit hesitant.
Can I come over? What a cute response. My heart took a critical hit from Yoonah's unexpected adorableness.
Only after sending that to Juyeon did I realize I hadn't replied to Yoonah yet. Oh crap. I quickly fired off a response.
I hadn't expected tomorrow to line up so easily. So, should I tweak Juyeon's schedule around that?
Uh? Hmm? This could get tricky.
Luckily, their schedules lined up roughly on the day after. I'd been a little nervous it'd be hard to coordinate since they both had packed days, but it worked out. Phew, relief.
"Guess I need to prep a bit before tomorrow."
This was the first time inviting people over. Even if not perfectly, leaving the place totally empty felt off, right?
"Snacks or drinks? Or maybe fruit?"
I'd probably just order food anyway. But stocking up on drinks, simple snacks, or fruit wouldn't hurt. Personally, I liked snacks more than fruit, but since they were girls—and Yoonah was a celebrity to boot—she might feel self-conscious about munchies.
"She ate fine on that trip before." But special circumstances like travel were different from everyday life. Or was this also a special situation? Girls coming over to a guy's house and all.
"Eh, whatever. Just buy some."
No point overthinking. With the lottery win, money worries were gone, making life way easier. Money doesn't buy happiness, sure, but you need it to actually be happy. With cash, I paid off my parents' debts, sent them on a trip, moved into a nice place. Planning to hook them up with a new spot too.
"Kugh, feels good."
I ordered essentials from Coupang and shopped for groceries, wrapping up the day.
Ding-dong!
"Ah, Yoonah?"
I opened the door to the intercom sound, and there she was—face hidden behind a mask and sunglasses.
"Come on in quick."
I'd just finished installing curtains to make sure she could relax a bit more. Compared to yesterday's empty shell, it was a huge leap.
"Wow, you really decked out the place nice."
She took off her mask and glasses, stashing them in her bag, and let out an impressed sigh. Hoo, that reaction hits just right.
"Pretty huge for a solo pad, huh?"
"Was gonna go for something even bigger originally, but settled here."
"Oh, really? The bigger one must've felt super empty."
She had no idea this place was a total void until yesterday either.
"Rough trip over? Want a drink?"
"Nah, I'm good. Just some water, please."
Classic idol—dieting like it's breathing. Impressive she skips soda even at a friend's house. I poured cool water into a new clear glass and handed it over.
"Hits the spot when you're thirsty."
I chuckled at her making a fuss over plain water.
"What was your old place like?"
Come to think of it, she'd never been to the previous apartment.
"Just a tiny, basic studio. Not far from here."
"Moved within the neighborhood, huh."
"Yeah, familiar turf."
There were other reasons, but no need to spill about the realtor's killer deals settling me here permanently. Girls with good vibes don't need to hear that.
"Wanna tour the rooms?"
I asked Yoonah, who was sitting there blinking blankly. Sure, it wasn't some luxury villa, but it wasn't shabby either.
