"Mnya."
The morning after pulling off that griefing stunt feels refreshingly invigorating, beyond words. The first thing I do upon waking is check the aftermath of yesterday's chaos. You know, the classic community feed dive. Spotting a popular post from a familiar nickname, I click it with drool practically dripping.
This happened during yesterday's 8:30 PM siege in the Termia region. I joined the defense team, grinning like an idiot thinking I'd finally get a proper siege battle after so long.
But. Fuck.

Right as the game started, I spot a familiar nickname. Seola. Looking at the photo still pisses me off. The second I saw that name, my blood boiled and my head started throbbing.
Luckily (or not), there were plenty of siege vets and hardcore players around, so I figured the game might actually go smoothly this time. Yeah. No.
My mistake.

Look at these neighborhood idiots chatting it up like morons. She used her cheaty char maker to lure newbies into making a human ladder lolololol.
I couldn't take it anymore and unleashed a barrage of curses.

Got caught typing in chat and died. Still pisses me off thinking about it. That fucking bitch... when's she getting banned? We won the game in the end, but she backdoored with the newbies and hogged all the occupation rewards. Not even 1% exp gain. Fuck.
Kya. This is it, the taste that keeps me from quitting griefing. From the comments, everyone's wondering why I haven't been banned yet. Did I use bugs? Hacks? Nah, I took my penalties fair and square and claimed victory boldly.
Lodewor admins usually sanction griefers on two main grounds: 1. Not contributing to team victory. 2. Intentionally leading the team to defeat.
But my griefing doesn't hit either mark. I contributed massively to the win, so no grounds to ban me.
Of course, from their perspective, I'm a thorn in their side, probably waiting for me to slip up. Why else ignore my rage-filled emails? Capsule size increase request was so polite too. At least reply, damn it.
With that killer community feed kicking off my day deliciously, I head to the bathroom for a shower. Glancing at the mirror mid-shower...
"..."
I stand there blankly, staring at my reflection for a good long while.
'Seola' is both my game character name and real name. Didn't change it just 'cause my gender flipped. Always been a girly name since birth.
The woman bathing in front of the mirror now—Lodewor's Seola or real-world Seola? Cognitive dissonance hits hard.
...It's just that surreal, never gets less unfamiliar.
Sigh. How did I end up with this fate?
It's been six months already. Six months since starting Lord of the Warrior. Six months since the gender swap.
Every shower mirror glance brings a sigh. Pushing complicated thoughts aside, I fire up the delivery app to feed my growling stomach. Sort by highest discount.
"..."
Damn. Bummer.
Most spots require 20,000 won minimum for discounts. Burning 20k on delivery would make even chaebol heirs tremble.
Ramen it is again today. Time to worry about my bank balance soon.
Since turning girl, zero economic activity. Something about going out with this look feels off—like wearing ill-fitting clothes.
Not because of enemies from long-term griefing. If I cared about petty stuff, I never would've started.
Dunno the reason. Just... don't wanna go out.
But now, to survive, I gotta force myself into work.
Finding a job ain't a big worry. Look at this face and body. If I were the boss, I'd bow and hire on the spot.
Convenience store gig? Apply and hired. Probably.
...Dunno. I'll hold out till the account hits zero, then job hunt if no other options.
With that, I hop into the capsule for today's unemployed quest: log into the game.
And there's mail from a stranger.
Obviously, all incoming is blocked. Unblock and I'd drown in thousands of whispers and emails daily.
Mail getting through anyway? Only one possibility: Lodewor admins.
W-wait, ban for bad manners? Seen posts about game companies emailing suspensions...
For real? Kinda awkward saying it myself, but I haven't done ban-worthy stuff.
Oh, or maybe... finally replying to my capsule size request?
Yeah, that's it. You're finally backing down.
Heart soaring, I open the mail.
But the content misses my guess by a mile.
Hold up. W-wait a sec!
Not about capsule size at all.
Stunned by the unexpected content, I calm down and reread the entire mail carefully.
Yup, no mistake.
TL;DR: Recruiting top 100 rankers as beta testers for streaming system. Including me, of course.
Streaming service? In-game broadcasting. Lodewor never had it, figured it never would.
Never dreamed they'd shove a contract at me like this.
Whatever the service, eyes on the 'Benefits': support payments. Salary. Monthly pay. Money!
Do I even have a choice? Hate going out, need cash to live—this is too sweet.
One worry: can I keep griefing with streaming on? Honestly, yeah. Watching won't change my playstyle.
Who'd watch a griefer like me anyway?
...But ops monitoring my stream live to nail me with a ban? Possible, but worthless worry now.
Even if that's their game, monthly cash makes the risk worth it.
No need to overthink. I click to view and sign the contract.
