And just like that, some anonymous someone started spreading the word about a streamer named Lee Han-seol.

People talked a lot about Dark the Legend dying, but at the end of the day it was still the number-one game Koreans loved. Of course, the number of people actually playing it had dropped off a cliff compared to the old days. I was confident the number of people watching it had gone up, though.

Dark the Legend had launched in Korea over ten years ago now, so the people who'd played it as students were in their late twenties or thirties, with no energy left to actually sit down and play. That was probably why.

Well. I'd just turned twenty — no, eighteen by international age — so I still had plenty of energy left for Dark the Legend.

"Alright. Dark the Legend it is for today."

Decided. I knew what I was doing on stream tonight.

I stood up from my chair and bowed to the viewers, deep and formal.

"If you keep being this stubborn, I'll end the stream right now."

"I just saw your chat saying you'd leave if we played Dark?"

I typed in my ID and password and logged into Dark.

"Must be a newcomer. Yes, I am Challenger. I've held Challenger continuously since I started Dark ten years ago."

"I'm eighteen by international age, so you could say I've been Challenger since I was eight."

"You'll know once you see me play."

While we were talking, a match popped. I'd been a dedicated mid-laner since the day I first launched Dark, so of course the role I got was... support?

Huh?

"Uh... why did I get support?"

"Hmm. I even set my secondary to top, not support, and it still gave me support. Well, nothing I can do about it. I'll just treat this like I drew bathroom-cleaning duty and play support."
