The Porter's Full Recovery Stream
The after-party thread for the Taiken raid was already buzzing. “What the hell? Nothing even happened?” Contrary to all the worry, the porter’s post shot straight to the top. But this time, one extra word had been tacked on that changed everything.
“They’re alive? All of them?”
Just as I expected. The whole Party Breaker thing really was just a concept. Even I had never heard of that level of anti-hype before. Like the hunters in the comments said, he couldn’t just announce that the entire One-Bite Guild had been wiped, so he went with “full party survival” instead.
“What promise with his father?”
I had no idea what he was talking about. Still, as long as everyone was safe, that was all that mattered.
“I seriously thought Elsa got kidnapped and someone stole her account.”
Of course, since one account basically equals one life, stealing it would be impossible. Still, the sudden disappearance of the parentheses felt incredibly awkward. The timeline where kind Elsa exists must have arrived a little too early for this generation. Even I, who lives in the same time period, can’t get used to it.
Okay. That means dinner is once again solved by Elsa’s feast!
Current Points: 10203
And that wasn’t all. The Influence skill that had activated during the Pa-ttak recruitment had automatically triggered again, copying even more points. It looked like the upgraded Hunter Four-Cuts and the gallery itself used to save the porter had been recognized as Influence. At this rate, the Hunter Reinforcement Project could proceed without any problems.
As soon as the porter became safe, he immediately went back to doing what he always did.
“Porter behavior.”
Yeah. The Party Breaker concept was over. Now he needed a new concept? The worshipper of a self-aware necklace. Though both of their personalities were… a little too unhinged.
Among them, there were even some hunters who genuinely tried to talk the porter out of his madness.
I guess I should help out a bit too.
Of course it was pointless.
“Just leave him be. He’ll get tired of it eventually.”
Honestly, it wasn’t even surprising. When you thought about it, the porter had always been like this. The phrase “normalization of the abnormal” fit the situation perfectly. Maybe creating a guild would be better. Anyway, partying was way better than soloing. I used to run with a hero party too. Solo is an incredibly lonely path.
At least now the whole world knew what happened if you recklessly aimed for a Pa-ttak position, so I could relax for a while. Time to turn off Hero Mode, take a breather, and switch Ju-ddak Mode back on. I could enjoy a healing life while watching the hunters, and whenever points naturally piled up I could just open an event to strengthen them.
Right on cue, Elsa’s meal arrived. Wait. Today wasn’t just cold food?
“Stir-fried pork!!”
A man’s soul food! It was one of the dishes I missed the most while I was in the other world. She even packed fresh wrap vegetables. As expected of a Gangwon-do native. When it’s time to eat, it’s time to gallery again.
“Will it even fit in my mouth?”
I was just about to wrap up a huge portion and swallow it whole when—
“Aaaargh! I’m eating here!”
Damn it! The thing that was way too big was the orc’s ‘that.’ My healing life is ruined. I saw plenty of it back in the day, but seeing it as a video in the gallery hits different. Or rather, back then I didn’t think much of it. Is this… the power of the gallery? They say there’s no end to refining one’s studies. That orc really never stops cleaning his asshole. Goddamn it. Even talking about it is disgusting.
The moment I said it, the post disappeared. The Pa-ttaks must have deleted it. Wait a second… a moving hole? A tactical nuke breathing through video?
“No. No way. Please.”
My bad premonitions are never wrong.
It was real movement ㅗㅜㅑ
The gallery was flooded with living, breathing tactical nukes in video form.
