D-Rank Porter's Age of Tribulation (3): Kkakakak!!!
Kkakakak!!! (Rough photo of the sacred barrier. JPG)
My name is Mallok!!! I am the master of this guy!!!!!
Why is everyone acting like this? It's me!!!
Barrier? What are you talking about?
Ack! I've never written anything like that!!
There's another personality living in my head now!!!
Anyway, the story of a D-rank porter who now owns an A-rank necklace but has no idea how to use it has officially begun!
If the ego was that strong, Bersilda must have had quite the time suppressing it.... I had no idea because I'd only seen what she used. There is, in fact, a textbook method for controlling ego weapons. It's also ridiculously simple.
[Ju-ddak]: Porter. Porter.
[D-RankPorter]: Administrator!! What’s going to happen to me now!!!
[Ju-ddak]: I'll teach you how to handle an ego weapon ㅇㅇ
[D-RankPorter]: Really?!
[Ju-ddak]: Just have a sincere conversation with the ego or win the battle of wills ㅇㅇ
[D-RankPorter]: That's way too simple...
[Ju-ddak]: But that's literally it;; Surprisingly it's the same as human relationships. When two egos clash, one of them has to give. Anyway, the ego inside the weapon is meant to be complementary with its owner. Which means "Mallok chose the porter for a reason." Looks like their chaotic natures match up perfectly too.
"The porter really is a chaos-chaos kind of guy."
And no ego would kill its host. An ego loses its reason for existing without an owner. There must be something Mallok wants from the porter. You can tell from the way he said he'd adjust his power so the D-rank porter wouldn't go "boom." This isn't as serious as it seems.
Kkak! No way!!!
Ju-ddak is a total idiot!!!
I slowly typed a reply.
[Ju-ddak]: Just take your time getting to know each other....
Damn it. If I had been Mallok's owner, I would've beaten him to the brink of death and then hit him one more time to finish the job. Getting two egos to harmonize isn't simple, so it would take time. After all, an ego is still a mental entity. Mallok just seems especially twisted.
[Elsa]: Ju-ddak. I'm curious why you didn't give me equipment like that. (Why the hell did you give it to the porter!!)
[Elsa]: I've never seen a barrier like that before. (For real, I want it)
[HunterChill]: It really is tempting, Ju-ddak ^^
[Ju-ddak]: You guys wouldn't be able to handle an A-rank necklace either;;
[HunterChill]: You never know? Maybe I have the qualifications for an A-rank necklace too? ^^
[Elsa]: No chance. (Get a grip lol You're not even an A-rank hunter lol)
[HunterChill]: I seriously want to meet up and fight you now ^^
[Elsa]: Ju-ddak. I'm curious why that D-rank porter guy is acting like that. (Is he okay?)
[Ju-ddak]: Yeah, the porter will return to 'normal' soon.
[Elsa]: Got it. (Yeah)
[Elsa]: Normalizing the completely abnormal. (The D-rank porter was already an idiot anyway lol)
[Ju-ddak]: Actually the necklace isn't what worries me the most—
[Ju-ddak]: There's something else that's suddenly bothering me ㅇㅇ
[HunterChill]: What is it? ^^
[Ju-ddak]: It's not certain yet.... I'll tell you later ㅇㅇ
[Elsa]: Don't tease people like that. (Suddenly getting all serious and dramatic)
Anyway, whether it was written by the D-Rank Porter or by the ego dwelling in the necklace, Mallok, the verification post using the barrier caused the gallery to explode with new bait.
The bait questioning Ju-ddak's 'real' identity took a step back. First, the bait that the necklace the D-rank porter received was a genuine A-rank item rose to the surface. The next bait was how the D-rank porter was still alive. But that passed quickly too. The final piece of bait threw cold water on the gallery's atmosphere.
This was exactly what I was worried about. Factions targeting the porter. As everyone knows, every awakened uses the Hunter Gallery. Which means this incident has already spread far and wide. And while I was happily posting bait, the 'fact' that an A-rank item carried this much influence hit me. The gallery bait began flowing in a completely different direction.

Muggle Group [14%] VS Han Sarang Mountaineering Club [30%] VS Hanjumdan [32%] VS Hunter Management Bureau [24%]
The hunter bastards started worrying about my safety right after the porter's. As expected, the scariest things aren't monsters or ghosts, but other humans. The incident had already happened. Targeting the porter was a completely plausible thought.
"There's no need to worry about me getting hit."
For now, I could at least prepare something for the porter. Should I send him a long-distance teleport scroll? Or a stealth cloak?
"It would be really nice if this just blows over as a funny happening...."
The real problem was which faction would make a move if something did happen. The number one guild, Hanjumdan? Or their rival, the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club? The Muggle Group was... ugly. But I couldn't let my guard down. If the Management Bureau moved, it would mean Korea had truly gone to hell.
"Who will it be?"
**
It was when the gallery atmosphere was chaotic and Ju-ddak was deep in thought.
In pitch-black darkness, a group of awakened murmured as they stared at the gallery.
"You've arrived!"
At the appearance of the man presumed to be 'that person,' they all stood up at once and chanted together.
The man shouted.
"Everything is for complete disorder!!"
The villains answered with determination.
"Now it is the age of us villains!!!"
The man shouted again.
"Everything is for complete disorder!!"
"Our one and only goal! To create a disordered world! Disorder! Disorder is order itself!"
Their identity was the villain alliance, the Cheong-gae-guri-dan.
