The D-Class Porter's Age of Suffering (4)
What do awakened individuals who work as hunters have in common? They move for the sake of profit, band together only to scatter again, and sometimes even fight among themselves. Yet they stand close to heroes. They are heroes. So who stands on the opposite side of these heroes?
“The age of chaos will soon arrive it!!”
The answer is villains. The wicked who appeared alongside the monsters after the Gate Incident. As everyone knows, this world is not filled only with bright sunlight. Just as there is a Demon King when there is a hero, if there are hunters, there are also villains.
“If I ever obtain overwhelming power, I will create a world where only the law of the jungle rules!”
“Heh heh… when will my Black Flame Dragon finally appear…”
“One day I will create a world where power itself is order it!”
The villains had been rotten to the core even before they awakened. Once they gained power, they simply went fully off the rails.
“At last!! Our time has come!”
“Opportunity has finally arrived for me too!!”
“I now possess the strength to create a world of pure disorder it!!”
They were now attempting to turn their long-held fantasies into reality. And so they operated as criminal guilds. But they soon scattered in pathetic defeat. Do you remember the war with the guilds? The Administrative Bureau succeeded in wiping out nearly every criminal guild except the Muggle groups. The surviving criminal guilds later began uniting for their own purposes. That was the birth of the Villain Alliance, the rebels of hunter-centric society. The birth of the Cheonggaeguri-dan.
If the Han-Jum-Dan was the strongest hunter guild, then the Cheonggaeguri-dan was the strongest villain alliance. Their goal was clear: “Disorder is order.” They sought to create a world of pure chaos. But there was one major obstacle. The guardian of hunter-centric society, the Hunter Administrative Bureau. The fear they had instilled was far greater than expected. Therefore the Cheonggaeguri-dan needed to gather villains and build their strength. They also had to wait until the very concept of “villain” faded from people’s memories. Until the word “villain” became nothing more than a meme.
In the meantime, the Cheonggaeguri-dan comforted themselves with petty but vicious crimes such as “stealing bicycles” or “pouring sweet-and-sour pork sauce on random strangers.” Occasionally some could not suppress their evil instincts and committed murder, but that was rare. Anyway.
“But now the time has truly come it!”
A frivolous shout pierced through the shadows cast across the dim table. It was the villain Gukgeori-jangdan, an original member of the Cheonggaeguri-dan and ranked fifth, in charge of the “Dan” position.
“With the Ju-ddak’s ability, that person would surely be satisfied…”
The villain Gwaeng-gari, ranked fourth and in charge of the “Ri” position, muttered quietly.
The reason they had finally decided to take serious action was simple. It was the appearance of the new Ju-ddak of the Hunter Gallery. Before he arrived, the Hunter Gallery had basically been a cesspool and the pinnacle of disorder. The previous Ju-ddak, Kellogg, had been too busy deleting cat pictures and could not stop proper trolling at all. This had been true of every previous Ju-ddak except the original one, First One. That was why the gallery had been chaotic, and the Cheonggaeguri-dan had been satisfied and paid it no attention.
But the current Ju-ddak was different. He mercilessly handed out ten-million-day bans to troublemakers and made them watch the real world, and his gallery management speed was unmatched. Immunity to cat pictures was a given, and the same applied to the Pa-ttak who followed him. The gallery was finding order. The Cheonggaeguri-dan could not tolerate that either.
Besides, what about the Ju-ddak’s ability? The things he had shown were unprecedented. No, they were utterly incredible. He had sprayed all sorts of potions around and gifted an A-rank item to Elsa and a B-rank item to the D-class Porter as if it were nothing. He had clearly awakened an astonishing power.
“If that person truly absorbs the Ju-ddak’s ability, it will be a tremendous help in turning not only this country but the entire world into a place of disorder it!”
“Then destroying the Administrative Bureau would truly become easy…”
That was right. The Cheonggaeguri-dan’s new goal was to turn both the real world and the gallery world into states of complete disorder.
“What if the Ju-ddak notices the message containing our secret code it!!”
“There is no chance of that…”
“Then we are truly executing the plan it!!”
“He says to deliver the secret code to the scattered villain underlings…”
“The kidnapping plan begins it!”
Gukgeori-jangdan thought to himself, This is my chance to earn that person’s recognition it!
The story about a Ju-ddak who can give out A-rank items and a D-class Porter who wears A-rank items but doesn’t know how to use them might have spread. The porter is basically a fucking golden goblin lolololol
Unintentionally, I learned about the situation in other countries as well. Well, it made sense that not every country had been destroyed. For now, it seemed the gallery was the only means of communication, and other countries didn’t even have galleries. Global threats probably didn’t need to be worried about.
“Then what remains is the power struggle inside Korea.”
Still, no gallery? That’s kind of sad.
You guys scared the crap out of the hunters for no reason lol Upvote lololol
Talking about kidnapping and torture lol For real lololol
The hunters were already starting to relax. Was this really going to end as a simple happening? That one hunter’s words were right. If any of the already exposed factions moved, it would be the same as confessing they were the culprit. If the porter was kidnapped, the guilds with analysis departments would be identified. As long as the porter didn’t reveal his own characteristics, it would be fine.
In that case, I could relax too. Maybe I should teach the porter how to handle the necklace’s ego and then look at some hunter girl lewd pictures with the others?
Porter, have you made up with the necklace yet?
“Fuck! This! Shit!”
Thanks to Mallok’s trolling, the information that the porter could not remove the necklace had been revealed to the entire world. Now anyone could easily target her. Argh… If I had been your owner, Mallok, you would be dead.
Remember that the gallery is the only means of communication. If a real faction had moved, they would have left traces in the gallery. I quickly flipped through the gallery pages. There was no time to ask the Pa-ttak for help. They probably wouldn’t have noticed it anyway.
Then I discovered one suspicious post.
Can we reach our destination soon?
Still, if we take small but steady steps, couldn’t we travel the whole world?
They say well begun is half done.
Now is the time to leave small footprints upon the world.
Who am I? A former hero turned Ju-ddak.
“Arrest complete.”
