The Porter's Campaign Promise
The Hunter Gallery's popularity contest had reached its climax.
One. Hunters shall uphold the principles of freedom and become the backbone in eradicating Gates.
Two. Hunters shall achieve victory in Gate eradication through real combat that feels like actual battle.
Three. Hunters shall strictly follow hunter regulations and actively oppose villains.
Four. Hunters shall uphold honor and trust while standing firmly united in hunter camaraderie.
Five. Hunters shall always value their own lives.
I wanted to protect even those hunters who sacrifice themselves while upholding such a wonderful creed.... My campaign promise is this.
[2] I promise to speak with Ju-ddak and distribute short-range teleport scrolls to my supporters. I hope every hunter will use the scroll just once to save their own life. Thank you....
What the hell? The gallery members were completely moved by the porter's speech-like campaign post. They were getting all emotional over his declaration that he'd go solo from now on.
Then just make up your damn mind already, you bastard lol.
But was there actually a creed like that?
Not everyone was like that, of course. Anyway, with his campaign promises, the popularity contest entered a new phase.
Porter! You really made up your mind to save countless lives?!!!
But wasn't the whole party breaker thing just a concept?
Anyway, the approval ratings for HunterYaKaeYo and Elsa, which had seemed frozen in place, finally began to move. The ratings that had been stuck at [50% : 50% : 0%] shifted to [39% : 37% : 24%], and eventually reached a perfect three-way tie at [33% : 33% : 33%].
There were only about two hours left until voting closed!
The Hurricane of Time and Space Guild and the Legendary League Guild have started fighting;;
Those two guilds already didn't get along, so why are they suddenly fighting;;
A hunter family is fighting because they're supporting different Pa-ttak
Ah lololol can't stand it when family members support different candidates lol
What the hell is wrong with these heartless, tearless bastards?
Time kept ticking away, and my heart grew more and more anxious.
"What do I do if it's a tie? I didn't think about that."
But that didn't happen. First place was decided by an unexpected event.
Wait, those things actually exist?
Anyway, starting with this post, the approval ratings suddenly swung heavily in one direction!
Why wouldn't you believe what the porter says!!!
So Ju-ddak can actually give out those insane scrolls?
Suddenly, the hearts of the gallery members began to change. The gallery was burning hotter than ever before. The voting was about to end any second now!
HunterYaKaeYo : [32%] VS Elsa : [33%] VS D-class Porter : [35%]
🏆 Winner:D-class Porter!!!!
Wow!!! When's the best time to use the scroll?
And so the long popularity contest finally came to an end. The gallery members each expressed their regrets, but they also seemed to be quietly looking forward to the next big event.
"Good thing it didn't turn into an actual fight."
- Ju-ddak : Everyone worked hard
- Elsa : It was fun though. (Even if it was embarrassing)
- HunterYaKaeYo : Ju-ddak-nim, you worked hard too ^^
- Ju-ddak : I'll send the rewards according to the rankings so just wait
- Ju-ddak : First, I'm distributing the scrolls to the gallery members
- HunterYaKaeYo : Understood ^^
- Elsa : I'm curious who Ju-ddak voted for. (Did you vote too?)
- Ju-ddak : In hunter society, voting is by secret ballot;;
- HunterYaKaeYo : I'll believe you voted for me ^^
- Elsa : I won't send you food anymore. (I'm not sulking)
In truth, I had voted for the D-class Porter. His campaign promises seemed genuinely for the hunters. Without hunters, there would be no Hunter Gallery. If it looks like you're going to die, running away comes first. The gallery members' equipment upgrades can be done one step at a time. There are still plenty of opportunities and plot hooks left.
After distributing all the scrolls to the gallery members who had voted for the porter, the gallery caught fire once again.
"What the hell. The popularity contest is over. Why is it like this again?"
The gallery members still had a long way to go.
