The Queen's Warm Campaign Promises
HunterYakeyo had made defense gear her main campaign promise, and the administration was backing her all the way. So which faction would step up as Elsa’s primary supporters?
“Guild Master Bboggulrom! This is to inform you that every single member of the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club has cast their vote for Queen Elsa!”
“Did your presbyopia make everything blurry so you accidentally voted for Yakeyo yo-u?”
“I inform you that is absolutely not the case!!”
“Good yo-u!”
As expected, it was the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club—the same crew that had been riding the queen meme hard ever since they flooded into the gallery. The thick smell of sweat and dirt rolled off them, and it was obvious something was missing from the picture. That something was armor.
“Ma! Why the hell would you wear something so damn cumbersome!!!”
“I don’t need that kinda junk!!!”
“If you strap on gear the punch just doesn’t feel the same!!!”
The Han Sarang Mountaineering Club wasn’t some poser macho club. They were the real deal—genuine, hardcore, dyed-in-the-wool manly men. They didn’t need any of that. Maybe it was the safety blindness they’d trained into their bones long before they ever awakened. Every last one of them stuck to a pure offense-heavy combat style with zero armor.
Melt them before you get melted.
That was their creed.
Bboggulrom agreed with that part at least. But did it mean their death rate was through the roof? Not at all. The number one cause of death among them was friendly fire caused by presbyopia!
[1] From now on, I’ll speak a little more warmly to the hunter fans. (Gently)
[2] Gangwon-do is definitely potato country. (Like sunshine)
[3] I’ll tell Ju-ddak to reward the fans who supported the Queen with [Weapons]. (Let it be)
The queen meme was ultimately just a joke and a gag. Of course there was a tiny sliver of sincerity mixed in.
“Weapons! We need way more weapons yo-u!!!”
Anyway, the reason they supported Elsa was simple: her campaign promise to reward her supporters with weapons! They liked the other promises too. A cold, wintry queen was fine, but a warm, gentle spring-like queen was even better.
“Ju-ddak…. I misunderstood you yo-u….”
The one thing they didn’t like was that Elsa used magic. Magic was an advanced, new-age ability that the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club should avoid, but Bboggulrom decided to embrace it just this once. Besides, Elsa was also using the Melquidon sword that Ju-ddak had gifted her. Her heart was clearly that of a pure offensive mindless manly man! On top of that, she had the achievement of defeating an A-class monster single-handedly! As long as she handed out weapons to the guild members, what else mattered?
“Ju-ddak…. Is something like that really possible yo-u…? Your ability is truly moral yo-u….”
While he was scratching his curly hair and marveling at Ju-ddak by himself—
“Guild Master Bboggulrom! The approval rating has become a dead heat at 50:50, I inform you!!”
“!!!”
The vote was only just beginning.
Current vote status: 50 : 50
“Wait. The kids are taking this more seriously than I thought?”
Was it because of the rewards? The hunter fans were participating with incredible heat.
In the comments the hunter fans were engaged in a heated debate while peacefully trying to persuade each other. The approval ratings were flipping back and forth by the second. Neither side would yield an inch! But let’s not forget—this vote had three candidates. So what about the approval rating of our final candidate, the truly famous party breaker, the D-class Porter?
“No one’s paying her any attention…?”
It was true. Her approval rating was 0%. No matter how you looked at it, the sheer indifference was shocking even if the porter hadn’t posted a campaign statement. Shouldn’t there at least be some mindless supporters? I was actually starting to worry she might get hurt by this.
This tight balance needed to be broken. For that, the last candidate had to step up. I never thought something like this would happen in my life, but the D-class Porter was desperate. At that exact moment, a post appeared out of nowhere!
I wanted to examine the human bastards I will one day rule in greater detail! Therefore…. I deliberately became friendly with a group of homeless people…. I ended up performing the act of ‘begging’ along with them…. However I have not yet received any ‘alms’…. Kuhahaha!!!
It was DemonKing123….
“When he said he had no money, that wasn’t cosplay?”
I thought the poverty was part of the demon king concept too…. Then the homeless party really did take him in? Of course he wasn’t on the official candidate list, but judging from the comments he actually had quite a few supporters. He had been quietly building his own faction.
“You can be the extra….”
It was pitiful. Every game needs an extra player. The kind hunter fans would understand. I couldn’t put him in the official popularity vote right now, but I’d take care of him a little on the side….
Right then, ‘that porter’ appeared—not in a new post, but in the comment section.
I wondered what kind of trivial and useless decision she had made. And it was a huge decision that could flip the entire board.
“No way…. Is the porter going to commit suicide?!”
Don’t do it! Porter!! That’s too big a decision! That kind of porter behavior is not allowed!
!!!!!
At that moment the entire Hunter Gallery bent at the waist like a drawn bow.
