Hunter Gallery Emotes (1)
I couldn't shake the feeling that something was always missing while managing the gallery. Everything was fine, but it felt like it was lacking that last two percent... How should I put it... There was this empty spot somewhere.
That was the emote that could basically be called the seasoning of the community! It was one of the rewards I got from the Ju-ddak's task quest. The other reward was the voting function, but I decided to roll them out one at a time. Releasing them together might mix up the bait too much.
Anyone can make them, and the process is pretty simple. You draw something using the provided art tools, it goes through review, and then it gets registered in the Hunter Gallery Emote Shop. Who does the reviewing, you ask? Obviously the Pa-ttaks have to do it. Anyone in the Hunter Gallery can use whatever's in the shop.
First, let's see how people reacted to the emote I made.
I made a few more myself, but the reactions were pretty much all bad. Figuring out what points people would actually like isn't easy. I never had any talent for drawing so I wasn't expecting much, but why do I suddenly feel the urge to draw mustaches now?
At least one of them needs to get a good reaction.
Should I consider this a positive reaction? The suffering of a creator truly cannot be measured in words. People complain no matter what you do. Looking at the Hunter Gallery members' reactions, it seems Squishy Bear is mainly used in situations where someone's head looks like it's about to explode. Or when they just don't have anything to say.
Still, seeing my own creation being widely used makes me feel a bit proud. Oh right! This time I won't get hit first. I'll make the first move.
Even after my previous warning, these brave warriors still appeared. As expected, human nature is truly evil. What is an emote in a community? Isn't it content that compresses what you want to say into an image and delivers it in a fun way? It's content that can be used for all sorts of purposes depending on the situation and can even give strength to a sad poster who has no comments.
But these troublemakers were compressing their shit into Hunter Gallery emotes and spraying it all over people.
The other Pa-ttaks sometimes show their true feelings, but with this guy you can never tell what's real and what's just his concept. Even though Porter acts like this, he still does his job well.... He's the only one who's immune to tactical nukes and pulling 32-hour gallery shifts every day. It's like having an employee with great ability but who does everything exactly how he wants.
HunterYaKaeYo is slowly becoming corrupted from all this endless hard labor. At this rate, won't the Pa-ttaks form a union? I should at least give them some rewards. It's not right as a human being to treat them like unpaid slaves. I offset the cost with the potions I change every time I send Elsa food, and for Porter... it seems like he'll be fine anyway. But I really haven't done anything for HunterYaKaeYo. I'll save her life or something later.
Anyway, Porter took the lead in rejecting a ton of cursed and rear-view emotes. After that, the Hunter Gallery Emote Shop became much cleaner.
Ah, this author is delicious. I want to kidnap them to my basement and make them write forever. As expected, serialization always comes before health. If only I had this kind of writing talent.... I'm so jealous.
Anyway, this is the proper function of Hunter Gallery emotes. Just look at how the comment atmosphere has changed. How colorful it is. This is the gallery I wanted. I'll work even harder to make it better from now on!
At the same time, Elsa uploaded her own Hunter Gallery emote post. Oh. This one looks pretty good?
