The Weight of Hidden Sins
The midday sun poured through the living room window. Kim Eunju was on her knees, her mouth wrapped firmly around Lee Han’s member. Her head moved in a steady, rhythmic cadence. Unlike Eunju, who kept her eyes closed and her expression blank, Lee Han’s face was etched with pure satisfaction.
"Mmm, Eunju. You’re wonderful today, as always."
At Lee Han’s words, Eunju didn’t answer; she simply continued her work. Her hands gripped his thighs, her knuckles white with the force of her exertion.
Eunju glanced up for a moment, her eyes drifting to the clock on the living room wall. The second hand ticked past the two o’clock mark, trembling slightly. Without a word, she returned her focus to Lee Han.
Lee Han stroked her hair slowly, his voice laced with languid ease.
"Don’t rush. We have plenty of time."
The quiet breathing of her son, Jinwoo, drifted from the master bedroom. Amidst the peaceful silence of the afternoon, only the sound of Eunju and Lee Han’s ragged breathing filled the living room.
Lee Han’s breath grew heavy. His hand tightened in her hair, pulling firmly. Sensing his reaction, Eunju naturally adjusted the pace of her movements. Her technique was practiced and fluid.
"Ugh..."
Lee Han let out a short groan, pulling her head toward him. Eunju closed her eyes, taking him deep into her throat to catch every last drop of his release. Her throat bobbed as she swallowed, ensuring nothing was wasted.
A moment later, Eunju slowly rose and straddled him. There was no hesitation in her movements. She took him inside her, her body reacting instinctively even as her face remained a mask of indifference.
She began to set a slow rhythm. As her movements quickened, Lee Han’s hands clamped onto her waist. Their breathing grew frantic. Lee Han grabbed her hips, pulling her down with increasing force.
As they reached the peak, a small moan escaped Eunju’s lips. Lee Han followed almost immediately.
Once the act was over, Eunju collapsed into Lee Han’s arms. Her expression seemed serene, but her eyes looked toward some distant, unreachable place. After a long silence, she spoke carefully.
"I’m scheduled to return to work next week."
Lee Han nodded dismissively, his hand caressing her breasts. Feeling a strange, illicit thrill rising within her again, Eunju continued.
"I have to send Jinwoo to daycare now, and once I start going to the office in the mornings..."
Lee Han gently cut her off.
"You should go to work, of course. But you’ll still have to pay your penance, won’t you?"
His voice was low and soft, but the authority hidden within it was absolute.
Eunju nodded silently. Her eyes were filled with resignation and submission. Lee Han reached out, lifting her chin. His lips brushed against her neck.
His kisses were soft at first, then grew increasingly intense. His hands began to explore her body, and she responded instinctively. Their movements became frantic; her fingernails dug into his back. Lee Han pulled her closer, their bodies fusing into one.
In the midst of their frantic coupling, Jinwoo’s crying suddenly echoed from the master bedroom. Eunju scrambled to get up, but Lee Han held her fast, refusing to let go.

"Wait, Jinwoo is..."
Unable to resist Lee Han, who continued the act while pinning her down, she awkwardly opened the door and leaned out to soothe the child. Jinwoo, only half-awake, stopped crying the moment he saw his mother’s face.
As Lee Han gripped her hips and continued his rhythm, Eunju barely managed to hold onto the crib railing to steady her shaking body. Jinwoo, oblivious to his mother’s situation, saw her flushed face, smiled brightly, and drifted back to sleep.
Leaning against the railing, Eunju wept as she watched her son’s sleeping face. As Lee Han finally spilled his seed inside her, she felt the aftershocks of the climax surging from her toes to her head, her mind blurring as she thought:
'I am being punished by heaven...'
Self-reproach and agony tangled in her heart. While she tried to maintain the facade of a normal life, she was consumed by relentless guilt. Her soul was sinking deeper and deeper into the darkness.
On the terrace of a pension, the warm midday sun bathed the sea. Han Sujin and Park Taeyoung sat side by side, gazing out at the blue expanse. A rare sense of comfort and intimacy hung between them.
Sujin smiled and said, "Taeyoung, this place is wonderful. It feels like we haven’t enjoyed ourselves like this in a long time."
Taeyoung looked at his wife with soft eyes. "You’re right. How long has it been since just the two of us came to the sea?"
Sujin leaned against her husband’s arm, feeling a profound sense of relief. Realizing that their relationship was finally normalizing, her heart swelled with joy.
As Taeyoung gently stroked her hair, she looked at him with a gaze that was both nervous and expectant. Secret plans for the night ahead flickered through her mind, and a clandestine smile touched her lips.
They held hands in silence. Their eyes held the deep understanding and love that only long-time lovers could share. Listening to the gentle sound of the waves, Sujin and Taeyoung fully savored the peaceful moment.
By evening, they entered a lively sashimi restaurant. The air was thick with the scent of fresh seafood. Sujin, who usually loved raw fish, scanned the menu with excitement.
Suddenly, however, her face went pale. The familiar smell of the sea began to feel strange, and she turned away, covering her mouth.
"Sujin, are you okay? Why are you suddenly..."
Taeyoung asked, startled. Sujin didn’t answer, instead retching again. She ran to the restroom, and Taeyoung watched her go with a worried expression.
Clutching the toilet, Sujin’s mind was a whirlwind of chaotic thoughts.
'No... it can't be...'
She felt anxious as she recalled the state of her body. The recent fatigue, the nausea... everything pointed to one possibility.
But Sujin desperately pushed the thought away.
'No, that’s impossible. I must just have an upset stomach or be tired...'
She tried to convince herself, but in a corner of her heart, she sensed a reality she didn't want to believe. When she emerged from the restroom, her face was still pale. Her eyes were filled with anxiety, confusion, and a mixture of complex emotions.
"Are you really okay?"
Taeyoung took her hand gently. His eyes were full of genuine concern.
"Don't worry," Sujin replied weakly, though his warm touch brought her a sense of relief.
"I'm really worried. Let's go home early tomorrow. Don't push yourself today."
Taeyoung’s voice was filled with tenderness. Sujin’s heart warmed at his consideration.
"I'm sorry. We came all this way, and because of me..."
"Your health is more important. We can come again next time."
Taeyoung kissed her forehead lightly.
"Thank you."
Sujin smiled at her husband, truly grateful.
In the car on the way back to the pension, Sujin sat lost in thought, staring out the window. Amidst her confused emotions, her husband’s warm consideration and love wrapped around her heart. Taeyoung’s worried gaze, his gentle touch, and the unconditional support he showed moved her deeply.
'How grateful I should be to have someone who thinks of me like this...'
Sujin repeated to herself. At the same time, the guilt over the secrets she hadn’t told him weighed heavily on her chest. But in this moment, her husband’s love and support felt larger than any anxiety.
Sujin softly took Taeyoung’s hand. Her touch held an inexpressible gratitude, love, and a desperate desire to stay with him forever.
It had been a few hours since they returned home early that morning, cutting their trip short. The warm afternoon sun streamed through the living room window. Sujin headed to the bathroom, trying to calm her anxious heart. In the stillness of the house, only her footsteps echoed.
Sujin held a pregnancy test in her trembling hands. Her eyes were filled with deep anxiety and fear.
"Please... let it be negative..."

She muttered under her breath. The moment she confirmed the result, her face turned pale. She let out a deep sigh and stared at her reflection in the mirror.
'What do I do now...'
Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Sujin tried to put on a calm expression. She went out to the living room, where Taeyoung sat on the sofa, watching her.
"Sujin, are you okay? Are you still dizzy?"
Taeyoung’s voice was full of worry. Sujin forced a smile and replied.
"No, I’m much better. But... Taeyoung, I have something to show you."
With trembling hands, she handed him the test. Taeyoung’s expression changed in an instant. Surprise, joy, and excitement flashed across his face.
"Sujin... is this... really?"
Taeyoung’s voice trembled. Sujin nodded and smiled, but her eyes did not smile with her.
"We’re going to be parents!"
Taeyoung shouted in joy and hugged Sujin.
His face was full of pure happiness. His eyes shone, and a blissful smile spread across his lips. Sujin, on the other hand, felt a clash of complex emotions. She tried to join in her husband’s joy, but she couldn’t completely hide the anxiety and fear within.
"We’re having a baby... I can’t believe it."
Taeyoung said in an excited voice.
Sujin forced a smile and replied, "Yes... can you go to the OB-GYN with me tomorrow?"
"Of course."
There was a slight tremor in her voice, but Taeyoung was too lost in his own joy to notice. As she held him, Sujin fought a constant battle with anxious thoughts in her heart.
'This child is definitely Taeyoung’s... it’s the child we wanted and planned for so much...'
She told herself desperately. But a sliver of doubt shook her conviction. Sujin took a deep breath and steadied herself.
'Yes, this is our child. Taeyoung’s and mine. There is no other possibility.'
She repeated this fact to herself over and over. While she acted the part of a happy mother-to-be on the outside, a storm of complex emotions swirled within. Joy, anticipation, hidden fear, and guilt were all tangled together.
Watching her husband’s pure joy, Sujin vowed to cast aside all doubt and anxiety to protect the happiness of this moment.
'No one will ever know. Not a single soul...'
