The Web of Control
In the darkness of the apartment complex, Lee Han and Park Mina walked slowly. They had just finished their tryst on the bench and were smoothing out their clothes. Park Mina walked beside Lee Han, naturally, without any underwear on. There was no rush in their steps.
"The night is quite refreshing," Lee Han remarked. Just as Park Mina was about to respond, a massive shadow emerged from the darkness. A Black man’s booming voice shattered the silence.
Park Mina was startled and instinctively hid behind Lee Han. The fact that she was not wearing any underwear made her feel even more vulnerable. Lee Han instinctively shielded her, his eyes narrowing with caution.
"Excuse me, are you residents here?" Lee Han’s voice was sharp, laced with an edge.
Just then, another voice cut in. A woman wearing a hat approached the side of the Black man. Her white t-shirt and hot pants stood out even in the darkness of the night. Her long black hair was tied back, clearly visible under the streetlamp’s glow. Her expression, as she looked to the side with large blue eyes, created a strange sense of tension. Her slender frame and long legs accentuated her elegance, yet there was a provocative aura about her attire that blended strangely with her presence.

"What's going on here?"
The woman’s voice was soft, yet a hidden firmness could be felt within it. Lee Han was momentarily captivated by the woman who had appeared. The aura she exuded was just as arresting as her appearance.
"I am the manager of this apartment building. Might I ask who you two are...?"
"I’m Jeong Seoyeon, I live here. This person is my friend."
Jeong Seoyeon’s reply was soft, but her eyes were sharply observing Lee Han and the woman hiding behind him. She turned her head slightly toward the Black man and spoke in a low, gentle voice.
The Black man seemed momentarily flustered, but he soon followed quietly behind Jeong Seoyeon. Lee Han watched their retreating figures. A new plan was already forming in his mind. 'That woman... she’s something special. I need to find out more about her.'
Park Mina tugged at Lee Han’s arm and whispered, "Do foreigners live here, too?"
Lee Han shook his head in denial, but his heart was already captivated by Jeong Seoyeon. Thinking that this chance encounter might be quite enjoyable, he walked away slowly with Park Mina. The darkness of the night wrapped around them.
As soon as he sent Park Mina home and entered his office, he sat down in front of his monitor and pulled up the feed showing Jeong Seoyeon’s room. Lee Han’s eyes widened at the sight of her on the screen. A scene of intense intercourse between her and the Black man was unfolding.
"Wow..." a small gasp escaped Lee Han’s lips. "Is that position even possible?"
He watched them, completely immersed. A mix of surprise and excitement flickered across his face. "I don't even need to watch porn anymore... That Black guy is impressive, but I can't believe a woman who accepts all of that actually exists."
Lee Han realized how simple his work had been until now. A new desire began to stir within him. 'What I’ve done so far is just child’s play... The problem is, how can I get my hands on a woman this free-spirited?'
Lee Han fell into deep thought. He sensed that Jeong Seoyeon’s boldness and freedom would be a new challenge for him. He bit his lip slightly and began to map out his future plans. "Handling a woman this free won't be easy, but... she’s worth the attempt."
An intriguing smile spread across Lee Han’s lips. He slowly reached out and turned off the monitor. His heart raced with the anticipation that his encounter with Jeong Seoyeon would bring a new phase to his life. He leaned back in his chair and let out a deep breath. Now, his mind was filled only with Jeong Seoyeon. How to approach her, how to seduce her...
—
The next day, Lee Han was back in the management office. His eyes were fixed on the monitor, and his fingers were busy moving across the keyboard and mouse. He was completely engrossed in digging into Jeong Seoyeon’s private life.
"27 years old... flight attendant..." Lee Han muttered, organizing the information. His eyes suddenly sparkled. "Huh? What’s this?"
On the screen, Jeong Seoyeon was seen using two different mobile phones interchangeably. Lee Han narrowed his eyes and focused on the screen. "If she uses two phones... it must be to separate her private life..." he muttered to himself.
Lee Han dug deeper. As time passed, the full picture of Jeong Seoyeon’s double life was revealed. Her bold relationships with foreign men, and her own rule of never engaging with Korean men.
"She’s bold. To maintain a private life like that..." There was admiration and desire in Lee Han’s voice. A smile spread across his face. A new plan began to form in his mind.
"Shall I use this?" he muttered. A dangerous glint appeared in his eyes.
Lee Han slowly stood up from his chair and walked to the window. Looking out at the apartment complex, he fell into deep thought. How to use Jeong Seoyeon’s secret, how to pull her into his game—his mind was entirely consumed by those thoughts. "I’ll have to approach this a little differently this time..." he muttered.
Lee Han returned to his seat. His fingers began to dance across the keyboard. As he meticulously organized Jeong Seoyeon’s information, the thrill of victory flashed in his eyes. To Lee Han, Jeong Seoyeon had now become a new prey, and the hunt had already begun.

Around evening, a happy energy was flowing through Han Sujin’s home. In the kitchen, Han Sujin was humming a tune while preparing dinner. A comfortable smile, rarely seen lately, graced her face.
"You're coming home early?" Han Sujin smiled as she looked at her phone screen.
Not long ago, they had received confirmation of her pregnancy at the OB-GYN. The doctor had advised them to be careful since it was still early, but even that couldn't hide their joy. Park Taeyoung, in particular, had begun to be even more attentive to Han Sujin, and she felt happier by the day under his warm care.
Hearing the sound of the front door opening, Han Sujin quickly took off her apron and headed to the entrance.
"Honey, you're home?"
Her face, which had been ready to greet him with a bright smile, stiffened for a moment. She saw Lee Han standing behind Park Taeyoung.
"Honey, I ran into Lee Han on the street today. When I bragged that you were pregnant, he said he wanted to give you a gift himself to congratulate you," Park Taeyoung said with a wide grin. Han Sujin felt as if she had frozen, but she quickly managed her expression and forced a smile.
"Oh, I see. Hello, Mr. Lee."
Lee Han approached Han Sujin with a bright smile. "Ms. Sujin, congratulations. I hope you have a healthy baby." He held out a gift set of nutritional supplements, smiling. "I wanted to deliver it to you personally."
Han Sujin received the gift with trembling hands. Complex emotions crossed her eyes. "Thank you so much, Mr. Lee."
Park Taeyoung said happily, "Come in and have a cup of tea before you go."
"No, I should be going now. I’ll see you next time."
Lee Han bowed politely and left. Once the front door closed, Han Sujin let out a deep sigh. Park Taeyoung wrapped his arms around his wife’s shoulders and said, "Honey, I think we are truly blessed. Everyone is celebrating our happiness."
Han Sujin forced a smile. "Yes, honey."
The gift set in her hand felt heavy. A shadow of the past still lingered in a corner of her heart, and a sense of anxiety washed over her.
—
One day, with the midday sun filling the living room, Han Sujin was sitting comfortably on the sofa, listening to classical music and focusing on prenatal care. As Mozart’s melody filled the space, the sudden sound of the doorbell shattered her peaceful time.
"Who is it?"
As Han Sujin muttered and opened the door, her face stiffened. Lee Han was standing there. "What is it?" A cynical tone laced her voice.
Lee Han wore a good-natured smile and held up a fruit basket. "Hello, Ms. Sujin. I brought some fruit."
Han Sujin narrowed her eyes and replied, "I don't need it."
She tried to close the door, but Lee Han had already slipped inside. Han Sujin sighed and returned to the living room, and Lee Han followed her naturally.
"Where should I put this?" Lee Han asked nonchalantly.
"Put it in the kitchen," Han Sujin replied indifferently as she sat on the sofa.
Lee Han set the fruit basket down in the kitchen, returned, and sat next to Han Sujin. He took out an apple, a knife, and a tray, and began to peel it skillfully.
Han Sujin chuckled as if she found it absurd, then picked up the apple slice Lee Han offered and ate it. "It’s delicious."
"I bought it at the department store," Lee Han said proudly.
"Did you stop by just to give me this?" Han Sujin asked.
"I heard it’s good for pregnant women to eat fruit."
The significant nuance in Lee Han’s words struck Han Sujin’s ears. The color drained from her face in an instant, and her lips began to tremble slightly.
Han Sujin slowly looked up and glared at Lee Han. Her eyes were filled with a mix of anger and fear. After taking a deep breath, she said in a cold, firm voice, "No matter what anyone says, this child is our child. It is Taeyoung’s bloodline."
Her words were filled with conviction, yet deep anxiety lay beneath them. Her hand instinctively clutched her stomach, and her voice trembled slightly. A shadow of doubt lingered in her eyes, as if she couldn't fully believe her own words.
Lee Han observed Han Sujin’s reaction closely. A subtle smile spread across his lips. He spoke in a soft, warm voice, as if soothing a lover. "Of course. Congratulations, Ms. Sujin."
Lee Han’s eyes appeared warm on the surface, but deep within them, a secret sense of victory flickered. Han Sujin tried to avoid his gaze, but tears began to well up in her eyes.
Han Sujin desperately tried to suppress her emotions, but when Lee Han carefully embraced her, her defenses crumbled. She sobbed quietly in Lee Han’s arms.
In the living room, only the melody of Mozart and Han Sujin’s stifled sobs coexisted. Within her heart, the joy for the new life, the guilt over the past, and the complex emotions of the present were all tangled together.
At this moment, Han Sujin realized that she was bound to Lee Han in an inseparable relationship. Even if she rejected him and tried to escape, Lee Han was deeply rooted in her life. Their relationship was no longer just a simple mistake of the past, but a complex web that would dictate her present and future. As she held onto Lee Han, Han Sujin trembled at the bitter realization that her fate had become forever intertwined with his.
