Chapter 91: Get off the car
Chapter 91: Get off the car
In this critical moment, An Ran can’t afford to force Chen Jiao out of the car. If she had the time to do that, she would already have stepped on the accelerator and rushed out.
So An Ran has no choice. Between Doll and Hu Zhen, she chooses Wawa. Between staying in the hospital and rushing out, she opts to escape.
As An Ran accelerates, more and more zombies gather at the basement exit. The front of the car is packed with them. Though An Ran's vehicle surges forward, the zombies pile onto it like snowballs, layer by layer.
Fortunately, the car Zhan Lian bought is powerful. It crushes the zombies beneath it like crossing a rugged mountain road. Finally, An Ran breaks free from the horde, emerging from the hospital with a car full of zombies clinging to it.
Looking out the front window at the faces of the zombies filled with fangs, she can’t see the road ahead at all. An Ran takes a deep breath and, relying on her instincts, presses the accelerator and keeps pushing forward. She clears the obstacles and crashes straight out of the hospital, colliding head-on with another vehicle. The sharp alarm instantly blares loudly.
Her car is unharmed, but the car she hits is crumpled in half from the impact. The alarm sound comes from the other vehicle, and when the zombies on An Ran's car hear the noise, most of them slide off and head toward the louder alarm.
Finally, she can see the road! An Ran breathes a sigh of relief, quickly reversing and driving her large black armored vehicle directly onto the road, crashing through everything in her path. She has no idea how many cars she destroys, but the blaring alarms fill the entire street, drawing out a significant number of zombies from the hospital!
This can be considered a disguised assist to Hu Zhen; as long as Hu Zhen and He Wen are alive, that is all that matters!
An Ran presses the accelerator, speeding ahead. When she encounters a car blocking the way, she doesn’t hesitate; she rams it aside, clearing a path. She navigates several streets before finally arriving at a quiet, deserted area.
“Why did you stop? Go quickly!” Chen Jiao urges from the passenger seat, clearly anxious. The baby in the back seat continues to cry, and Chen Jiao desperately wishes she can throw the child out of the car. If the baby keeps wailing, the zombies will inevitably come.
"Get out of the car." An Ran holds the steering wheel with her ten fingers tightly clenched, and her eyes are fixed on the empty street in front. This street should be very safe, without a single zombie.
“Why get off? Hurry, let’s go find other survivors!”
“Get out of the car!!”
“Come on, your daughter keeps crying. It’s annoying. Let’s go!”
“I said!” An Ran turns her head, glaring at Chen Jiao amid the baby’s cries. “Get out of the car!!!”
Chen Jiao’s eyes widen in shock, looking at An Ran as if she is a monster. Suddenly, she grasps what An Ran means and screams, “An Ran, what do you mean? You can’t do this to me! I won’t get out! I won’t!”
From the driver’s seat, An Ran rolls the car key in her hand, unbuckles her seatbelt, flings the door open, and jumps out. She strides to the passenger side, opens the door, leans in, flicks the seatbelt off Chen Jiao, and drags her out of the car.
