Chapter 13
Chapter 13
Confessions Are Nothing New to Me
There’s a very effective way to wake Lee Yeram up.
Just play a certain sound that any “woman” in this world can’t ignore.
—Pa~ pa papapa~ paparappa~
It reminded me of the training camp, but I ignored that and kept playing it.
As expected—
she woke up instantly.
“Ugh… I told you not to play that…”
“This works best.”
“…It does, but still…”
After getting her fully awake, I prepared breakfast.
Lately, I’d been too busy and just gave her frozen food—
but today felt different.
‘I should make something proper.’
While she showered, I started cooking in our tiny room.
Today’s menu—
kimchi fried rice.
The landlord often gave us kimchi out of pity, so we had plenty.
Chop it up, fry it with rice, add a few extras—
done.
“Looks good.”
Just then—
Yeram came out.
“Whoa, that smells amazing.”
“Eat this and go to school.”
“Nice, thanks.”
She sat down immediately and started eating.
Honestly, I didn’t expect yesterday’s stream to do that well.
I just thought it’d create a bit of buzz.
But now—
the entire gallery was filled with posts about me.
“Start the stream already”
“Who even is Dama?”
“Yesterday was fun though”
“Stop spamming about some small streamer”
“…Wow.”
I expected attention—
but not this much.
Maybe starting the stream was a good idea.
More viewers meant more fun in the community too.
“Ahem.”
I put my phone down.
“Can I take your order?”
Still at work, after all.
“Um… I’m not sure what to get. Any recommendations?”
I didn’t know that well either—
but I couldn’t just say that.
“Frappuccinos are popular these days. You might like it.”
“Okay!”
She handed me her card.
I processed the payment—
then suddenly—
“Um… here!”
She handed me a piece of paper—
and ran off before I could respond.
“…What?”
I looked at it.
[You’re totally my type… contact me @grilvodp__20]
“…Huh?”
When I first realized I was in a gender-reversed world—
I imagined women constantly confessing to me.
That’s how those stories usually go.
But reality was different.
Even if someone was good-looking—
they didn’t act crazy.
They approached carefully.
Which made this situation even more surprising.
“…Wow.”
This was a first.
No one had ever confessed to me before.
Well—
unless you count that one guy in middle school who kept trying to touch me.
But anyway.
This was different.
I had been confessed to.
“…Okay.”
I calmed my racing heart—
and made a post.
[Title: I just got confessed to at the café… what do I do?]
[Content: (photo) This is my first time, I’m confused]
Part of me wanted to brag.
This was worth bragging about.
Then—
Ding.
The door opened.
“Hi.”
Yeram arrived—with friends.
“Hey, you’re here.”
This was normal now.
But—
“What’s that in your hand?”
“Oh, this? It’s a long story—”
“Then don’t tell it.”
“Just wait, I’ll explain later.”
“…Do I have to?”
She looked annoyed but sat down.
Soon—
they ordered drinks.
I brought them over.
“Wow, oppa serving us personally.”
“Come alone next time too.”
“Stop talking nonsense.”
Her friends laughed.
I pulled a chair and sat down.
“Hey.”
“What.”
“This oppa finally got one.”
“Got what?”
She didn’t get it.
So I handed her the note.
“…Hmm.”
She read it—
then—
“Yeah right. That’s obviously a scam.”
“…What?”
“With your face? No way.”
“Excuse me?”
“Ugh.”
She pretended to gag.
Her friends, however—
reacted differently.
“Oh?”
“Who would confess to him?”
“It’s weirder he hasn’t gotten one before.”
See?
This was the correct reaction.
“So what, you got confessed to. Why show me?”
“Just… thought you’d be curious.”
“Not really.”
“You don’t have to be shy.”
“What are you even saying?”
She denied everything.
So I stood up.
Some people need time to process emotions.
Back at the counter—
I checked my phone.
More notifications.
The post was blowing up.
Comments flooded in:
“No way that’s real”
“Who would confess to you lol”
“Turn on your stream already”
“This has to be fake”
“…Seriously?”
It was real.
Why wouldn’t they believe me?
Annoyed—
I posted again.
“I’m going live soon. Be ready.”
