Because You Wouldn't Move
Because you wouldn't budge, by the time I made it home, I was soaked in sweat. Luckily, it wasn't anywhere too obvious like my face or armpits—the real problem was inside my bra. Walking down the street and feeling sweat trickle between my cleavage was something even I, on my third summer as a girl, had never experienced before. Guess I really have been a total shut-in these past three years.
The second I stepped through the door, I dropped my backpack and yanked off my shirt without a second thought. I cranked the AC to max and stood right under the blast. Cool air started seeping into the sweat-soaked bra, making the girls perk up a bit—but hey, unavoidable.
After cooling off a little, I hauled the discarded backpack onto my desk. Shower first. I headed to the dresser and grabbed a fresh pair of panties. They were still clean since I'd been sticking pads and liners on them nonstop, but they felt gross anyway, so better safe than sorry. I unhooked the bra, soaked all the way to the underbust band, tossed it in the hamper, and slipped into the bathroom.
I'd drained the tank pretty good down there, but I wasn't masochistic enough to blast myself with cold water. So I patiently waited for the hot water and took a proper shower. Then, with a towel turban on my head, I basked in the cool AC breeze to chill my reheated body.
Finally, I flopped onto the empty-bag couch in front of my bed and stared blankly at the ceiling. Today, I'd take it easy. Tomorrow, the four of us were watching a movie then drinking at Seoeun's place. Next week, home to the family place. The work-study job I applied for two weeks ago started the week after that.
Ah, when's this Hanjiu guy heading home? Maybe we could go together?
It popped into my head, so I figured I'd ask. Nothing else to do anyway. I snatched my smartphone.
I fired off the text, then opened the train app to check schedules. A reply pinged back almost immediately.
Part of me wanted to poke him more, but seeing him snap like that, he must've been holding back a lot. Nah, let it go.
The replies stopped. Probably just respawned, too busy to text. I checked the train times again, and his messages kept coming.
Probably something like, Exams done and you're holed up in your room? Too lazy to make excuses. Should I just spill my current state? After sharing my ovulation date last time, what was there to hide?
Sending that would probably make him go off about "you really are a girl now" or some bullshit. But his reply was a bit different from what I expected.
Wait, hold up. What? New tactic? Tell her I'm on my period, lure me into gaming, then try to fuck me?
Damn. He knows me too well.
This guy's on a losing streak. That's why he's all fired up!
Replies started slowing down after that. He knew I hated voicing in games. Neither Song Yujeong nor Song Yuwon was cut out to be queen bee. Time dragging on—he was probably racking his brain for what to offer.
Time for pretty sis to compromise.
Chat done, I bolted up. Unwound the towel from my hair and powered on the PC. Long time no log-in—tons of patches to download. While waiting, I grabbed a soda from the fridge. Poured it over ice in a glass, humming a little tune without realizing.
Okay, confession: unlike the two crashes earlier, I was kinda excited. Teaming up for 5-man queues with actual voice chat after so long? Sure, early semester I went to PC bangs with some guys a few times, but after realizing they were just using games as an excuse to get close, I quit that scene.
Hehe, still humming, I sat at my desk, slung on my headset. Adjusted the mic, cleared my throat, and joined the Discord channel we used to hang in.
Ding—
"How do you just bail there?!"
"Then what, 4v5 and keep giving it away?"
"Give it and go for elder next."
"Yeah, give it all away forever. Hell, hand over your base!"
Voice chat was heated enough to drown out the new join alert. Sounded like they bombed the last game hard. Timing to jump in was tricky, so I waited till things cooled a bit, then eased in carefully.
"Uh, hi everyone. Friend of Hanjiu's. Song Yuwon."
"Yo, what took so long? You're home!"
Hanjiu snapped bratty-like, despite his deep guy voice. The other guys' greetings followed a beat later.
"Oh, hi!"
"Please take care of us today."
"Nice to meet you. Your voice is really pretty."
They tried playing it cool, but their voices wobbled at the ends. Adorably. Kinda got why girls play queen bee online.
Hanjiu must've clocked their sus vibes too.
"Haa... Cut the crap. She's not a girl, just a mute."
"Mute's harsh."
"Yo, Song Yu... won, you gonna talk normal or what?"
"Why! This is normal, why pick a fight outta nowhere!"
What the hell. Hanjiu's extra prickly today?
"Haa... Quit bullshitting. Anyway, this is Song Yuwon from Business Admin, same year as us, so talk casual. Yuwon, you too."
Made me pause—should I really go casual? Same department building but different majors, probably no overlap.
"Sure, why not?"
"You and Jiwoo seem super close..."
"Yeah. High school classmates."
"Aha! So you're the super pretty girl he bumped into at lunch the other day? It was huge gossip in our department."
Hanjiu cut in sharp.
"Quit yapping and queue up."
Wait, gossip? What's the Econ dept saying?
"Yuwon, AD or AP?"
"She only does AP mages, so Seoha, you AD jungle. Hyeono, carry mid hard. She's rusty, gonna shit the bed."
"OK, let's go!"
FYI, chatty Hanjiu's top laner. Classic top-laner rage baby. Probably why he's grumpy after losses.
~
We won five in a row. Crushed one early, clutched another to elder fight—but 5-0 streak.
Discord vibe softened big time.
"Damn, Yuwon, you're better than expected."
"Hehe, thanks!"
Seoha, the jungler—main talker among the three guys besides Hanjiu—laughed heartily. Praise ringing in my ears, my lips curled up involuntarily. The kind I'd get an earful from Hanjiu for!
Day in, day out: face this, tits that, waist insane, voice so pretty. After endless shallow compliments, getting props for skill lit up my validation itch like crazy. Like post-sex orgasm levels!
Rift was rusty for me too—worried I'd flop hard like he said.
"Skill? Hyeono carried bot and babysat mid."
"Yo! Taking plays is skill too!"
"Yeah yeah, good boy."
"What? Hanjiu jealous? Better than you nonstop grinding soloq?"
"Bullshit's in season!"
Sudden stiff voice cut between us.
"Hanjiu! That's too much."
Supporter Hyeono tripped over our usual banter, dead serious. Victory dopamine dipped the room cold.
I rushed to clear it up.
"No, it's fine. This is how we play."
"Really?"
"You guys know Hanjiu—win-at-all-costs type. Urgh."
Others chimed agreement. Hyeono apologized, incident over quick.
What can ya do. Big-tits sis inside and out gotta endure.
Anyway, glorious 5-0! Soaked in win high, I stretched arms overhead.
No bra since planning to shower and crash, but sitting straight at PC stiffened my shoulders and neck.
"Haaahhhnn! Anyway, carry!"
Discord went dead quiet. Then it hit me—that moan wasn't normal.
Ah, whatever! Bail first.
"Guess I'll head out."
"Already...?"
Quiet-all-day ADC finally spoke. Half jondaemal, switched to banmal.
"Exams just ended, wiped out."
I rolled my neck.
"Your dept no end-of-term party?"
Moods flipped instantly.
"Oh shit!"
"Term party!"
"What time is it?"
Comedy troupe?
"Anyway, good game, hit me up next time."
"Yeah, you too! Won't call if you ghost."
Easygoing Seoha led goodbyes. Least girl-shy of the other two.
"Oh, Hanjiu. Book first class, no slacking!"
"When?"
"Next week, anytime."
Hanjiu paused, voice suspicious.
"Anytime fine?"
"Yeah. Then I'm out for real."
