The Dragon That Broke the Underworld
The underworld had always been a peaceful sort of chaos.
Witches haggled over eye of newt prices at midnight markets, vampires ran blood banks that doubled as trendy cafés, and werewolves held pack meetings that somehow always turned into barbecue parties. Everyone knew their place in the food chain. Everyone played by the unwritten rules. Life was predictable, if you ignored the occasional turf war or love triangle that ended in fangs and lawsuits.
Then the dragon showed up.
No one knew where it came from. No one knew why it had chosen now, of all times, to descend on Seoul’s hidden magical society. What everyone did know was that the balance was gone. The careful equilibrium between supernatural factions had been body-slammed by several tons of ancient reptilian arrogance wearing a human face.
And the dragon?
She was mostly annoyed that the Wi-Fi in the underworld sucked.
This is going to be a problem.
