The Birth of Nongkkkbu
As soon as I entered the Minecraft server, I glanced around left and right, then checked the diamonds that had just appeared in my inventory.
Exactly three diamonds. That was enough to craft one diamond pickaxe.
“...Ooh.”
Everyone was praising me. Their kind words made me even more excited. I walked over to the crafting table with a huge grin on my face.
“What should I make…! I want to keep doing raids, but… a sword would be best, right?”
The sword I’d received last time had been shredded against the tough hide of that red dragon, after all.
Everyone agreed that a sword was the right move. That made sense. I’d be getting called into raids more often now. Honestly, it was better to always have a sword ready. I wanted to hunt more bosses, earn more recognition. I still couldn’t forget the thrill I felt when everyone’s attitudes changed and when Village Chief Kei looked at me differently. My heart raced just thinking about it. I lifted my head, beaming, and announced.
“Then…! Just like you all said, I’ll make a diamond sword…! And with the one diamond left, should I head to the market?”
“Yes, yes~!”
I played along with the Jireongis for a moment, then quickly crafted the diamond sword, equipped it, and strolled toward the buildings visible in the distance.
Before long I reached the plaza. I looked around carefully and headed for the market. The number of players had grown dramatically. Weaving through the crowd, I turned my mic off and whispered.
“Th-there are so many people here… I guess everyone got invited…”
“Eh… I was planning to seduce the Jireongis, though.”
The chat exploded. I lightly ignored the chaos and headed toward the flower-shaped shop visible in the distance.
“This looks like the place that sells seeds.”
Various seeds were displayed in front. Since this was a wilderness server, you could gather them naturally, but these were special. One diamond bought five seeds, and plants grown from them apparently grew faster. A regular job could achieve normal farmer growth speed, while an actual farmer class would get 1.5 times the normal rate. There was no reason not to buy them.
“Oh… Should I make bread and sell it?”
While the Jireongis were noisily debating, I had already moved my hand and purchased the wheat.
“Thank you…”
A Jireongi donated 10,000 won
“Yeah, this is it. What’s there to fight about? In the end, isn’t whatever our streamer wants the correct answer?”
“I-is that so… Thank you. Thank you for the ten thousand won.”
I gave a bright smile and quickly left the crowded plaza.
Back at my house, I carefully took out the enhanced seeds I had cradled the whole way.
“Ooh…”
The enhanced seeds sparkled with a beautiful glow. All I needed now was water and a hoe.
I let out a small laugh and asked the Jireongis what was around my house.
“Everyone…! There’s a reason I chose this spot as my base, you know… What’s near my house?”
The praise made me shy. Without another word I crafted a wooden hoe and headed to the riverbank. I immediately started preparing the field. I cleared away the sand, laid down soil, and began hoeing.
“Done…”
I wiped away the sweat of honest labor and looked at the chat.
Lolicon donated 10,000 won
“Nuuuuuuuuuoongbu lol”
“......”
After seeing the chat and the donation, I froze on the spot. I had been working so hard on the field, yet all I got was “nuuuuoongbu.”
“Ugh… I-I’m not a fa-farmer… I mean, I am a farmer, but not like that.”
I tried to deny it, but the chat had already gotten a taste for teasing me. If I resisted now, I would only give them more material.
All I could do was let out a small sigh.
“Sigh… That’s too much…”
They immediately started apologizing like crazy. I warned them not to do it again, then planted the seeds with a bright smile.
“I wonder how much they’ll grow… Hehe.”
An innocent, sunny smile spread across my face.
Kim Junsu, owner of the gukbap restaurant. His streaming name was Kei. Today was his rare day off, so he had come into the restaurant, yawned, and was watching a stream on his phone. That was when he noticed something surprising.
Hehe… I wonder when they’ll all grow.
“...!!”
Every time he heard Suhyun’s happy voice, Sujin would flinch. And that wasn’t all.
They look strangely similar.
Suhyun’s avatar and Sujin’s appearance were incredibly alike. It was to the point that it felt like looking at a young Sujin. The beauty was undeniable. At this level, one could easily call her a daughter. Especially that red-and-black hair. He remembered her saying it was natural when asked.
“Auntie.”
“Yes, boss?”
“You said that hair color was natural, right?”
“Ah… yes, it is natural.”
Sujin smiled awkwardly. Seeing her reaction, Junsu became certain.
There’s definitely something between them.
His sharp intuition pierced right through Sujin. And the woman who received that gaze thought,
I heard our daughter started streaming, but I never imagined the boss would be watching…!
It was both a little joyful and incredibly awkward. She knew her boss was an excellent streamer. Most of the subscribers who visited were polite, and Junsu himself was a genuinely good person.
“Um, boss…”
“Yes? What is it?”
“…Could you help me clean, please? It’s a bit too burdensome.”
“Ah…! I’m sorry. I was staring too hard. I’ll go wash the mop right away.”
“Yes… thank you.”
Sujin bowed politely. Junsu hurried off to get the mop.
After the broadcast ended, one meme began circulating through the community.
Everyone was praising how cute I was. But the word they kept using was “FarmerLol.”
“Farmer does suit me, but… calling me ‘farm’…”
It felt a little strange. Still, it was praise, so I tried to accept it. But then the fan art posts started appearing.
“…No matter what, this is too much.”
The thought flashed through my mind that this had gone way too far.
