Freshman Orientation: The Two Princesses Want to Brag About Their Husband
March 8th
Concordia Academy
Grand Banquet Hall
Time flew by, and before we knew it, the day of the OT had arrived. To be precise, the academy didn't set a fixed date for these events. Once each freshman class finished preparing to welcome the upperclassmen, they'd pick a day sometime in March and invite guests. That's why we gathered every scrap of information we could about the other classes and did our best to avoid any date overlaps. It only made sense—this was the class with princesses in it. Rumors about the Spinsters Class or not, there were countless upperclassmen dying to show their faces.
As expected, the banquet hall we'd rented filled up in no time. Though it was called a banquet hall, it was really a massive ceremonial venue. We'd borrowed the entire top floor of the building normally used for weddings to hold our OT.
The students who showed up all either knew the princesses personally or were important enough that receiving an invitation wouldn't raise any eyebrows. I couldn't keep up with the atmosphere at all. Even though I was wearing an expensive suit, I felt completely out of place as I watched them.
"Not fitting in, Teacher?"
Tam, who had lined up beside me, asked. Our mixed-blood, huge-titted fairy had shown up with Aisha as promised. At first she'd been glued to the other side, but the next thing I knew she was awkwardly hovering next to me.
"It's a student-mingling event. As long as there's no trouble, the best thing a teacher can do is stay back and let them be."
"But Miss Nora seems to be mixing in just fine?"
"Ahem."
"It's such a waste after Lady Aisha went to all the trouble of preparing that suit for you."
"I'm grateful for the expensive suit, but you're not exactly wearing a dress either, are you?"
In Tam's case, instead of her usual apron, she wore a cute one-piece dress. The strings cinched tight right beneath her enormous breasts to keep the hem from flaring up—it was obviously Aisha's handiwork.
"Ah, Teacher! Speaking of which, listen to my story! I had a dress prepared and everything. I'd even sent it ahead to my parents! But Lady Aisha said it was too eye-catching and wouldn't let me wear it~!"
"What kind of dress?"
"Something like that!"
Where Tam pointed stood Elena, wearing what could only be called a revealing dress—cleavage and waist fully exposed. It was almost embarrassing to look at.
Ah, that. The kind of overly provocative dress a no-name actress would wear just to stir up some buzz.
Type in something crude like "actress revealing dress" on a portal site and that exact thing would pop right up. Elena had the perfect figure and proportions, so it drew every man's eye. But on a woman with an average body, it would have looked downright pathetic.
So...
"You were planning to wear that?"
"Yes."
"And your father even approved?"
"He said it would help me find a husband and prepared it for me when I left for the academy!"
I compared Elena and Tam. This one was a fairy barely over 130 centimeters tall with O-cup breasts. If a walking onahole like her wore something like that, I could only imagine the chaos that would follow...
"Sorry, but Aisha was right this time."
"Eek~!? Even you're taking her side, Teacher! My father gave me that dress—when else am I supposed to wear it!"
"Just buy a new one."
"I don't have money for that! I'm in debt, you know!"
"That's none of my business. Aisha told you not to lend money to people, but you kept doing it anyway. What did you expect?"
"Grrr~!"
I lightly kicked at Tam as she tried to lunge at me, holding her off while I leisurely sipped the wine a footman had brought over. It was a rather peaceful moment.
That's when it happened. The Bellamore sisters, who had been laughing and chatting happily, turned this way with playful smiles.
"Why are they looking at me?"
"They've been glancing over here for a while. It can't be about me, so they must be talking about you, Teacher?"
"Come on, there's no way someone like me would be worth gossiping about."
"You don't actually believe that, do you? Teacher Ludo, you're quite the hot topic everywhere~!"
As if to prove Tam's point, the Bellamore sisters and their entourage approached us with bright smiles. I didn't know which families they belonged to since their countries were different, but one look told me everything. They were clearly VIPs. The fact that they weren't intimidated by the presence of the princesses showed they possessed a completely different level of true class compared to a hastily gold-plated fake like me.
Don't come this way. This is the freshman OT. Go mingle among yourselves and talk about school life.
When I gave them a sidelong glance, Elena's smile in particular grew even brighter.
"Such a passionate gaze... Yes, I know! I wanted to introduce my husband to everyone too!!"
That's not what I meant. Her grand misunderstanding and bright laughter were incredibly troublesome. I hurriedly tried to straighten my clothes, but then Selena slid over and placed her hand on the back of my neck.
"There's no need to look so startled. We've already explained everything properly."
"What explanation?"
"It means we handled it well."
"No, that's not what I'm asking—"
She fixed my necktie, then without a hint of shame pressed her lips to the nape of my neck.
"Kyaa!"
"How scandalous!"
The followers who had come with the sisters squealed like girls half their age. I worried the sudden skinship might startle the guests, but the atmosphere was nothing like that.
"Excuse me, Teacher Ludo. Is it true you defeated Lady Elena in a straight fight?"
"Yes, I've been dying to know! Tell us what happened!"
Since they were speaking to me politely, I unconsciously answered, "That's right." Immediately, every distinguished guest's eyes sparkled and their tongues loosened.
"Didn't you hear? Right after taking the position, he fought Lady Elena and Lady Selena and made them his women~."
"There was no one suitable to take those two, so even Lord Raphael struggled so much..."
"Doesn't look like a lie. We just saw Lady Selena kiss him."
"She isn't the type to do something like that as an act..."
"I heard there were people who saw the fight in person?"
"What about his character?"
"From what I heard, he subdued terrorists and saved Lady Nasriya."
"Ah, that! The Ain kids wouldn't stop talking about it!"
"Plus the department head and the principal are acting as his guardians..."
"To find a husband so quickly... Ah, I'm so jealous..."
They weren't even whispering. They openly discussed my relationship with the Bellamore sisters and blushed. Seeing how familiar they seemed with the Bellamore royal family, I listened carefully. This time Elena whispered to me.
"Everyone here is from meritorious families..."
"Of the Bellamore side?"
"Yes."
"So they all know about your situation?"
"That's right. They're completely different from those half-wits who got angry at you last time~."
The follower who had gotten angry at me before only knew half the story. In contrast, the people gathered here knew everything, which was why they seemed even more surprised. They especially focused on how I had subdued Elena and Selena. Since there were many parts I still didn't understand, I asked without thinking.
"Are Elena and Selena really that strong?"
"Eh, of course?"
"Wouldn't you know better than anyone, Teacher Ludo, since you fought them directly?"
Not at all. I'd subdued them more easily than expected, so it was honestly hard to relate. It had been one-on-one, of course, and Selena had only jumped in after everything was already over. But even if it had been two-on-one from the start, I was confident I could have won as long as I had my weapon.
"As far as we know, the only one in the royal family who can subdue those two is Lord Raphael!"
"And even Lord Raphael is weak when it comes to family, so there aren't many who can stop them! That's why the Bellamore royal family once put out their name to find men capable of being their matches!"
...And how did that go?
"There were opponents who could fight Lady Elena one-on-one, but that's as far as it went. Not a single person properly defeated her. As for someone who could subdue even Lady Selena in one go... there simply wasn't anyone..."
These girls had that level of skill?
"That's why they struggled so much to find husbands and ended up coming here. The bloody incidents that happened afterward were just the cherry on top."
"Ah, now that you mention it, what sect are you from, Teacher Ludo? Who was your master!?"
"You've remained unknown until now yet can defeat Lady Elena so easily. Where did you train?"
It was awkward.
"I learned the basics from my father and the rest was self-taught..."
"What is his name?"
"Gustav von Eisenwald."
"I'm sorry. I've never heard it before."
"But he must be a skilled expert, so I'll make sure to remember him clearly from now on!"
The meritorious families of the Bellamore royal house. Compared to them I was from a mere viscount family. Normally they could have ignored me entirely, yet they showed respect. It was partly because of Elena and Selena's submissive attitudes and the fact that I had rightfully claimed the two women.
Come to think of it, maybe it's because I've only been catching bandits until now, but I have no idea where I rank by worldly standards. I easily subdued Elena and those terrorists, and even Principal Sekhmet came to see me personally. So I'm not completely useless. Which would mean my father who taught me is also quite the martial artist...
I'd heard that in his youth he wandered the continent. That's how he met Principal Sekhmet...
Since Father had the skill to be acknowledged by the principal, does that mean our family is unexpectedly strong?
While I suppressed the smug feeling of being some kind of hidden master, Elena started running her hands over my body. I was confused about what she was doing when she pressed her cheek against my shoulder like she was showing off a treasured jewel and smiled brightly.
"As you can see, our husband is still relatively unknown, so you must have many questions. On the other hand, if he gets along with us, he'll be seeing more of all of you. I thought it would be good for everyone to get acquainted while we have the chance~."
Next Selena approached and clung to my other arm just like her sister.
"Shall we, Teacher? It's been a while. Let's spend some private time together."
I had laid my hands on the two princesses. I'd known a day like this would come eventually. Feeling somewhat burdened, I started walking with the sisters when a grating voice stopped us in our tracks.
"What a coincidence. Sir Ludo. I never imagined our OT dates would overlap~."
Disaster had followed us. I'd definitely checked the surrounding classes' OT dates to avoid that bastard. Really, he was like a damn leech.
