Taming Class: Cafe Dreams and Mascot Mayhem
"The cafe issue's all sorted now! Can't wait for what's next!"
We'd all gather with friends, chatting over cake and tea. We'd huddle up for board games, strengthening our bonds, and sometimes pull in strangers to play, turning them into friends too. In our own little cafe territory, we'd study, deck it out like a secret hideout—those were the days. It was the kind of life with friends I'd only dreamed of, and my heart just wouldn't stop racing.
"Girly hobbies, huh?"
"...But what're boys supposed to do for fun? I never had friends."
A tragedy born from no peers my age in the rural village. According to comics, kids all rush outside kicking balls around, but I never got the rules. Best I could do was goalie, maybe? I knew basketball rules decently, at least.
"Was your only hobby cooking tasty stuff for Mom?"
"Yeah, pretty much, if you put it that way."
"No wonder you're packing a gut. Don't tell the first-gen I said that."
"Why not? If you hate exercise, you gain weight, right?"
"That's touchier than anything for a girl, boy."
"I don't gain weight no matter what I eat... Does it change when you become a girl?"
"Changes with age too. Yours might go elsewhere, boy."
"Guess I'll eat less once these grow."
The more I ate, the bigger these tits got? God, I couldn't even imagine. They blocked my view every time I put on shoes or socks—such a pain. Tripping over them trying to walk, slamming onto the desk when I sat. Especially with short Beatus; if I wasn't careful moving around, I'd smack her every time. Felt too guilty to complain when she groped them for fun or used them as pillows.
"Girls can play like that too. You grope 'em."
"If I grope, it's sexual harassment."
"Swore off harem at the academy... No common sense..."
"Stop reading weird books..."
"It's a masterpiece!"
[Hard Mode Academy Life?!], [My TS Academy], [Academy 100 Girlfriends], and so on... Back in the dorm, he'd devour these bizarre books daily. Roomie Meru Lume first thought it was his taste, but spotting Grand Duke engrossed cleared it up. True degenerate who loves anything pretty and tasty—today it was [Regressed Academy Villainess Steals the Heroine's Heart] or some nonsense.
"Where do you even get these?"
"Library? Borrowed in your name, by the way."
"Guess I'll snag the monthly reading award this time..."
A familiar checking out books and writing reports for me? Blessed. They give prizes to top readers monthly—just pray the borrow list stays hidden. They'd think my brain's a flower field if they saw! Wait, maybe that's better. No-bra black witch boy prancing around? Nightmare fuel for classmates.
"Speaking of familiars, I traded for something higher-level: [Karma]."
The world's eight powers include soul-born karma. He called his own price [magic power], the most fundamental.
"Simply put, I hold the origin of all life, able to become anything."
"Uh... got it?"
"Can add five more alongside magic power—usually the basic five elements."
Most lump it as magic power, but witches are special, he said. I'm historically special, so contract with him was advised. Bonus: at least five more contracts no problem.
"Need that many? You're plenty, Grand Duke."
"All that praise gets you is belly rubs, nothing more."
His belly is super soft. Addictive, really.
"Anyway, contract prices aside—master's job is knowing their familiars."
Thinking of my ultra-high-dimensional outer god familiar, beyond communication. He had connections to summon it, but can I boss it around as contractor?
"Extra pay covers it, or if it's in the contract terms. Try ordering coffee."
Sudden dorm coffee order? Didn't get it, but I tried anyway.
"Uh—could I get a hot coffee, please?"

"Something like that. Outer gods transcend cognition, unbound by time or space."
"Wha... what?"
"Look at your hand, lad."
Glancing over, coffee was in my hand without me noticing. Startled, I spilled it—but blink, and it was full again, no spill ever happened. Sipping in shock, pro-level taste exploded.
"B-but what if I finish it?"
"Hand again."
No cup—now a slice of [cream pie] instead.
"Th-that's overkill for cafe work..."
"Assigning roles is master's duty; negotiating's your skill."
He needed a great cafe part-timer, so win-win, he said. I nodded.
"Using familiars without direct combat is witch style—fighting method too. Consider combat ones."
"You're not for fighting, right, Grand Duke?"
"If I fight, it's UFC apocalypse, not WWE. Get student-level ones."
"Ah..."
Forget sometimes—he's Hell's warlord. Overkill for students.
"Alright, before [Taming Class] starts today, we'll have practice time."
Sudden announcement—students stared blankly at the prof.
We'll learn familiar handling in [Summoning], but for [Taming Class], arbitrary summoning practice. Unlike summoning, these match personality/power—then taming lessons. Kinda wondered difference, but that's why we study. Sigh. Came from cafe management on prof's group call—no textbook. Only Kali had one besides top student. Prof said no need, but floor summoning circle needed the book. Circles, ancient runes from Ancient Languages and Rune Magic. Prof chattered, but kids dozed—magic at work?
"Summoning's tougher than I thought... Straight to practice?"
"No book, so watch and learn—guess you're talentless there, boy."
Talent shows instantly in summoning lines. I just saw black scribbles.

Then, cafe-working outer god handed me the textbook and left. Felt like a friend subbed in... Outer gods got outer god pals, right? Flipped it open, noted prof's explanations.
"First summon—most dangerous Witchcraft first?"
"Prof, why dangerous?"
"First-gen wrecked academy first class."
Prof said they barely sealed the monster, locked in academy. Foreshadowing vibes—unsettling.
"Imagine the being you want clearly and summon."
"Want a cute mascot. Cafe needs one!"
"Hehe, second-gen's adorable. Try it?"
Prof's circle had mana stones. Book open, I chanted.
"Mana of the world's origin, link fates by my will. Open the contract gate."
⟨ Summoning Chant ⟩
"Witches don't need chants, by the way. Chanting ones get called half-assed—watch it."
"Eek..."
Translation: Prof thinks Wiyu Witchcraft has zero taming/familiar talent. Grand Duke helped, bonus info. Without help... what comes out?
"World's strongest, most popular cute mascot, come forth! Yap!"
Swung hand on feeling, poured mana—circle blazed.

"Oh no, Rat King! Too much—send it back!"
"Cute, but yeah, can't handle."
Thanks for coming, but over my level—sent back. Wanted simple cute mascot... why top-tier? Grand Duke nagged: next one's thunder yellow rat—fix image.
"Mascot fit for this world!! Decent one!!"
Rat King slunk away sadly. Second summon—blinding light, mascot-worthy beast popped out.
"TS vibes. Love NadeNadeM things? Best once used to it?"
Horror wail I didn't wanna understand—ear block reflex.

Seemed world-fitting mascot... why vampire deer with insane fangs?
"Highland goat. Diet: TS and netorare, lately NadeNade parenting."
"Industry lingo's Greek to me."
Taming class solo summon: fail. Grand Duke said I had power, just lacking imagination. Random wild imagine turning real? Disaster...
"Someday I'll summon a great cafe mascot!"
"No other way, I'll call a demon pal."
"Cafe'd lose its soul then."
Students okay with outer god and demon cafe?
