Gangryonghoe (강룡회)
Founded by Kang Ji-yong at the age of 29, the Gangryonghoe started as a small-scale street gang and grew into a massive criminal syndicate that holds absolute power over South Korea.
The boss, Kang Ji-yong, exponentially expanded the organization's influence by recruiting talent from across the nation and overseas. After a bloody war with the Hyeonbeom Clan—once South Korea's premier syndicate—Gangryonghoe wiped them out, took control of Seoul, and claimed the top spot in the country's underworld.
Under the corporate front of Crown Holdings, they officially claim to operate legitimate businesses in finance, hospitality, entertainment, construction, and trade. In reality, they run every conceivable criminal enterprise, including contract killings, drug and arms trafficking, human trafficking, illegal loan sharking, and illegal gambling dens.
While their primary area of operation is domestic, they are also active in Southeast Asia, Japan, China, and Russia. Unlike South Korea, where their actions are strictly regulated, their overseas operations involve heavy firearms. Partnering with local syndicates, they traffic various drugs back to Korea and commit numerous crimes against civilian populations abroad.

The parent company directly managed by Gangryonghoe's boss, Kang Ji-yong. It oversees and coordinates all domestic and international criminal operations conducted by the entire syndicate.
Chairman of Crown Holdings and Boss of Gangryonghoe.
Father of Kang Ji-hoon. He has earmarked his son Ji-hoon as the successor to Gangryonghoe. However, he harbors a quiet disappointment because Ji-hoon dislikes the syndicate's business and refuses to follow in his footsteps.
Despite opposition from his secretary Hwang Moo-seok and several close aides, Ji-yong stubbornly insists on naming Ji-hoon as the heir, firmly believing that his son merely lacks motivation but possesses more than enough talent to lead.

Head of Kang Ji-yong's Security Detail and Chief Security Officer of Crown Holdings.
He holds the title of "Strongest Fist in Gangryonghoe," boasting immense punching power to match. Combined with exceptional grappling skills, very few people in Gangryonghoe can defeat him in bare-handed combat. He is the cousin of Yoo Sun-woo—who taught MMA and various martial arts to Jae-hyuk, Jeong-han, and Ji-hoon—and was the one who introduced Sun-woo to the martial arts masters who trained him.

He possesses formidable combat prowess, especially in knife techniques using Kali Arnis and marksmanship.
As a side note, he is a massive fan of the idol group Darkpink (the universe's equivalent of Blackpink).

Former Vanguard Captain (Action Leader) of Gangryonghoe and Executive Director of Crown Holdings. Initially jealous when Ha Seong-jun took his position, Baek San sought advice from Lee Dong-min, a close member and senior executive. Observing Seong-jun's impressive capabilities and achievements, Baek San acknowledged that Seong-jun was far better suited for the Vanguard Captain position than himself.
After Seong-jun saved his life during the war against the rival Hyeonbeom Clan, Baek San completely let go of his inferiority complex and became close friends with him.
Though he was replaced by Seong-jun, Kang Ji-yong promoted Seong-jun due to his superior intellect and leadership, not because Baek San was combatively inferior.
As a side note, his white hair is dyed purely for style, and he occasionally walks around with his natural black hair when the dye fades.

Recruited by Kang Ji-yong during the war against the Hyeonbeom Clan, he subverts expectations by being an elite graduate of a prestigious university despite his intimidating appearance. Owing a great debt of gratitude to Kang Ji-yong, he has served faithfully by his side ever since.
He secretly feels pity for Kang Ji-hoon, who is forced into an unwanted position as heir. Consequently, he quietly questions Ji-yong about whether Ji-hoon truly has the qualities of a successor and subtly helps Ji-hoon avoid taking over the leadership.

During high school, while working a part-time job at a bar with his friend Pyo Kang-ook, they got into a massive brawl with members of Gangryonghoe. They both challenged Seo Tae-yang but were defeated together.
Recognizing their potential, Tae-yang offered them a place in the syndicate. After weeks of consideration, Su-hyeok and Kang-ook joined Gangryonghoe. Following Ji-yong's orders, he was assigned to guard Ji-hoon.

While working part-time at a bar with his friend Jeong Su-hyeok, they clashed with Gangryonghoe members. He and Su-hyeok took on Seo Tae-yang but were overwhelmed and beaten.
Seeing their raw potential, Tae-yang scouted them. Kang-ook joined Gangryonghoe alongside Su-hyeok and was subsequently tasked with protecting Ji-hoon.

A subsidiary managed by Choi Gyeong-su, the second-in-command of Gangryonghoe. However, it occasionally operates hitman services using ex-mercenaries like Joo Tae-yeol. Alongside Crown Hotel, it is one of the highest revenue-generating branches in Gangryonghoe.

A figure heavily involved in the death of Jae-hyuk's uncle, Park Min-hyeok. Utilizing his vast wealth and network, he contributed significantly to turning Gangryonghoe into the nation's largest and most formidable syndicate.
Graduating valedictorian from a prestigious university's economics department, he looks down on everyone with lesser academic credentials, including his subordinates. However, he is a typical snob who cowers in front of individuals like Kang Ji-yong, who lack higher education but hold absolute power.
Due to this personality, even though high-school-educated Ji-yong received immense help from Gyeong-su, Ji-yong does not fully trust him, placing far more trust in the third-in-command, Ha Seong-jun.

He was Jae-hyuk's killer in his previous life and the man who directly murdered Jae-hyuk's uncle, Park Min-ho.
A former operative of the naval special warfare unit (UDT/SEAL), he was dishonorably discharged for embezzlement. Afterwards, he operated as a mercenary in Southeast Asia's infamous Golden Triangle drug zone.
Spotted by Gyeong-su during a business trip to the Golden Triangle, Tae-yeol accepted a lucrative salary offer to join Gangryonghoe alongside his unit of mercenaries. Known as "Choi Gyeong-su's Blade," his special forces background makes him adept with firearms, knives, and close-quarters combat. Cunning and ruthless, he is the individual that the regressed Jae-hyuk fears and prepares for the most.

Joo Tae-yeol's trusted confidant who operated with him during their mercenary days in the Golden Triangle. Unlike Tae-yeol, who was dishonorably discharged, Tae-hyeon was a non-commissioned officer in the 13th Special Mission Brigade (Special Forces) who completed his military service honorably.
He is the most trusted man in Tae-yeol's squad, and the mercenary subordinates follow him almost as faithfully as they do Tae-yeol. If Tae-yeol is unable to issue commands due to special circumstances, Tae-hyeon takes command seamlessly without any pushback from the men.
While other mercenaries address Tae-yeol formally as "Captain," Tae-hyeon calls him "Hyung-nim" (older brother) and often uses informal language due to their deep bond.
He addresses Tae-yeol as Hyung-nim despite being the same age because Tae-yeol saved his life multiple times in the Golden Triangle, earning his deepest respect. Tae-yeol also trusts Tae-hyeon above all others and personally permitted him to speak informally.
As a side note, his birthday is later in the year than Tae-yeol's.

A formidable fighter in Tae-yeol's unit, he has been fiercely loyal ever since Tae-yeol saved his life in Southeast Asia. When Tae-yeol decided to move under Choi Gyeong-su's authority in South Korea, Akara followed without hesitation.
However, seeing Choi Gyeong-su's arrogant behavior in South Korea, Akara harbors resentment, believing Gyeong-su lacks the caliber to be Tae-yeol's superior.
He primarily uses Lerdrit, a military variant of Muay Thai.

He is one of the four core mercenaries trusted implicitly by Joo Tae-yeol.

3. Crown Hotel
A business unit managed by Ha Seong-jun, the 3rd-in-command of Gangryonghoe. Aside from standard hotel management, its primary revenue sources are drug trafficking, human trafficking, and illegal gambling dens. It is one of the highest-earning divisions alongside Crown Capital. Due to frequent international transactions involving the Chinese Triads, Japanese Yakuza, Russian Mafia, and Southeast Asian gangs, many members are multilingual.
CEO of Crown Hotel. Officially 3rd in command, but because he enjoys absolute trust from Kang Ji-yong, he is functionally the 2nd-in-command of the syndicate.
Joining Gangryonghoe at age 25, his unmatched fighting prowess, intellect, and leadership allowed him to usurp the previous Vanguard Captain, Baek San, in just two years. Shortly after becoming Vanguard Captain, he scored a major victory during the war against the Hyeonbeom Clan by personally capturing and executing their boss, Jo Min-beom, propelling himself to 3rd rank.
However, due to a "special secret" from his past, he strongly dislikes the idea of becoming Gangryonghoe's overall boss. In Jae-hyuk's previous life, when Ji-yong's son Ji-hoon fell into drug addiction, Ji-yong tried to name Seong-jun as successor. Despite unanimous support from almost all executives except Choi Gyeong-su, Seong-jun adamantly refused.
Only three people know this "special secret": Kang Ji-yong, Seo Tae-yang, and Im Kang-hoon.

Due to his criminal family, he was smuggled into the Philippines at age 12 and lived there until 23, sinking deep into the Philippine underworld. At age 23, he returned secretly to Korea to expand his drug operations, bringing him into direct conflict with Gangryonghoe. His organization was completely wiped out by Seong-jun.
Impressed by Kang-hoon's combat skills, Seong-jun offered him a place in his ranks. Though Kang-hoon initially refused to serve the man who annihilated his gang, Seong-jun's persistent efforts, respect, and persuasion eventually won him over, making Kang-hoon his most loyal lieutenant.
He mainly uses Kinamutai (unarmed Philippine street style focusing on biting/gouging), but adapts to other styles as needed. His brutal experience in the Philippine underworld makes him deadly with large blades like machetes, axes, and kukris, as well as firearms ranging from handguns to shotguns.
He is one of the few who knows Ha Seong-jun's "special secret."

In Jae-hyuk's previous life, Myeong-woo took Jae-hyuk under his wing when Jae-hyuk tried to infiltrate Gangryonghoe. When he later uncovered Jae-hyuk's true identity, they fought, resulting in Myeong-woo's defeat.
Unlike the previous life where he overwhelmed Jae-hyuk before losing at the end, in the current life, Jae-hyuk—armed with past combat memories and refined MMA training—defeats Myeong-woo instantly. Myeong-woo currently holds a deep grudge against Jae-hyuk for speaking to him and Seong-jun casually without honorifics.

A former Judo athlete, he first appears in Chapter 113 as reinforcement dispatched to Crown Holdings Suwon Branch after organ harvesting workshops in Suwon were raided.
Delayed while heading to Workshop A by interference from Baek Jung-hwan, So Min-jeong, and Lloyd Choi, he arrived late—just in time to intercept Jae-hyuk and Su-ho, who were delayed because Jae-hyuk took time to capture Workshop A's boss, Hwang Doo-cheol.
During the battle, he nearly subdued Jae-hyuk with a lapel choke. However, Jae-hyuk gouged his eyes, breaking his rhythm. Jae-hyuk then delivered a series of devastating headbutts to his face, knocking Sang-tae unconscious.

First introduced in Chapter 49 breaking up a fight between Jae-hyuk and other members. He playfully tells subordinates going on a business trip to Busan to buy Samjin Fishcakes, subtly ordering them to bring some back. As one of Crown Hotel's core combatants, he previously fought alongside Ha Seong-jun during the war against the Hyeonbeom Clan.

After Jae-hyuk defeats Seo Myeong-woo and demands more money, an enraged Jun-tae attempts to attack Jae-hyuk with a knife. Ha Seong-jun stops him; however, even without Seong-jun's intervention, he would have been easily crushed by Jae-hyuk.

Introduced in Chapter 43 enjoying a threesome with two women when he receives news of Jae-hyuk's raid on his den. Furious that his fun was interrupted, he confronts Jae-hyuk, only to be humiliated and easily subdued.
He subsequently calls Seo Myeong-woo for help, leading Myeong-woo, Jun-tae, and Seong-jun to his venue where they encounter Jae-hyuk.

Formerly a kickboxer, he gained a criminal record after beating up bullies who were harassing his younger sibling. While job hunting, he applied for a part-time position at Crown Hotel. An executive noticed his kickboxing background and lured him into joining Gangryonghoe with promises of high pay.
Unlike typical gangsters, he is squeamish around gore. He is visibly traumatized by Cha Jun-kyung's torture scenes in Busan and the organ harvesting at Workshop D in Suwon.

Originally part of the Seoki Gang in Busan, he caught the eye of a visiting Gangryonghoe executive and relocated to Seoul to join Crown Hotel. Unlike Sang-gyu, who was an ordinary civilian, Jin-cheol engaged in violence regularly since his youth, making his transition into gang life seamless.

Originally an executive of a rival Philippine gang, he impressed Kang-hoon during the gang's total destruction. Kang-hoon scouted him, and Joshua accepted, moving to South Korea where he acquired citizenship and the legal name "Myeong Jae-sik."

Warm and caring toward his subordinates and acquaintances, he is utterly ruthless toward targets or enemies. He exhibits a sadistic side, producing illegal and horrific dark web adult content targeting specific enemies.
He is one of the three individuals who know Ha Seong-jun's "special secret."

She shows special concern for newcomer Jeong-han. Colleagues suspect her attentiveness is simply because Jeong-han is handsome.
During a business trip to Vietnam, she entered Jeong-han's room to seduce him, but failed due to Jeong-han's indifference and an unexpected call from Gwang-jin. Later, during a shootout with the remnants of the Hongryeon Gang, she was nearly shot while providing cover for Jeong-han, saved only by a mysterious individual.

He tried to look out for rookie Jeong-han, offering understanding when Jeong-han made mistakes. However, true to his criminal nature, he was a cruel psychopath who did not hesitate to torture or commit sexual assault against targets.
In Daejeon, to lure target Goo Yong-jin, he held Yong-jin's in-laws hostage, shooting his father-in-law and gleefully encouraging Min-soo to assault Yong-jin's niece, Seong Yu-bin. Enraged, Jeong-han intervened and shot Joo-seong through the brainstem, killing him instantly.

A frivolous man who lacks any seriousness. In Daejeon, while holding target Goo Yong-jin's in-laws hostage alongside Jeong-han and Joo-seong, he attempted to assault Yong-jin's young niece, Seong Yu-bin. Jeong-han stepped in to save her, leading to a knife fight in which Min-soo was slain by Jeong-han.

5. Crown Construction
Managed by Lee Dong-min, the 5th-in-command of Gangryonghoe. Primary revenue stems from drug trafficking, human trafficking, and illegal enforcer/demolition services. Ostensibly a legitimate construction enterprise, it uses mercenary thugs to violently suppress locals protesting construction projects, often under contract for major corporations.

Standing over 2 meters tall, he was the original Vanguard Captain during Gangryonghoe's inception. He gracefully stepped down when Baek San joined, yielding the position to his younger, stronger successor. When Baek San complained about losing the title to Ha Seong-jun, Dong-min comforted him, reminding him to accept changing times.
Despite his comforting demeanor, he is extremely greedy. Unless dealing with original co-founders, Ha Seong-jun, or Baek San, he relentlessly slaughters anyone for monetary gain without hesitation.

In Jae-hyuk's previous life, he pursed Jae-hyuk ruthlessly. Though he died without catching him, he dealt catastrophic losses to Jae-hyuk's allies. An elite Kendo practitioner who placed highly in national tournaments, he fell into crime after an impulse act of violence ruined his athletic career.

Managed by Cha Jun-kyung, the 6th-in-command of Gangryonghoe. Its primary revenue sources are narcotics and human trafficking, featuring extensive international trade operations. The unit possesses the highest concentration of sadists in Gangryonghoe; none of its members have any aversion to murder.
CEO of Crown Trade.
An exceptionally sadistic individual who tortures anyone that offends him in ways reminiscent of Latin American drug cartels. He once kidnapped street thugs who gossiped about him in a restaurant, eviscerating them alive and tearing out their tongues. He even shot at Jae-hyuk upon their first meeting simply because he felt Jae-hyuk looked at him funny.
He considers Ha Seong-jun and Baek San his friends and treats them moderately well because they once saved his life.
Possessing top-tier combat strength within Gangryonghoe, he was hunted down by past-life Jae-hyuk and Jeong-han. They only managed to kill Jun-kyung after expanding every single round of ammunition they had. Because their firearms were broken or depleted during that battle, Jae-hyuk and Jeong-han were forced to fight Joo Tae-yeol unarmed, resulting in their deaths.

Born to an ethnic Korean father (a former Spetsnaz Alpha Group NCO) and a Korean mother, he learned Systema from his father. At age 17, after his father defaulted on loan shark debts to Gangryonghoe, Ha-jun fought Jun-kyung. Recognizing his martial potential, Jun-kyung offered to clear his father's debt if Ha-jun joined Gangryonghoe. Ha-jun accepted, rising quickly to become the 2nd-in-command of Crown Trade.
Because his father was ruined by loan fraud, Ha-jun harbors extreme hatred for scammers and executes fraudsters using methods so brutal that even Cha Jun-kyung is horrified.
