The Women's Bath
"Alright then, I'm ending the stream. See you next time!"
PlantLoveSquad has been banned.
Banned the last little shit.
One last chat message popped up before I closed the stream.
"I made some money, so I'm gonna buy some clothes and look for a place to live."
The clothes I currently owned barely added up to ten outfits, tops and bottoms combined. And even those pants were just sweatpants and dolphin shorts, which was why I'd come out wearing a skirt. My underwear was all cute stuff, too. The most modest pair I had was a set of teddy-bear panties — that pretty much said it all.
Anyway, I needed to buy some real clothes.
"See you all next stream~"
I hit the end-stream button, and the chat window and broadcast screen vanished.
"Hoo…"
Night streams were exhausting. On top of that, today's Sudden Gate and the Hunter Exam had completely drained me physically.
"Should I… buy clothes?"
Just ordering random stuff online didn't sound half bad either.
But I really want to change out of what I'm wearing right now.
Orc blood had splattered all over me during the fight, and running around had left me soaked in sweat. I wanted a shower and a change of clothes.
First things first — find something to change into right now.
Whatever it was, I did not want to keep wearing these clothes. I needed to change, fast.
Come to think of it, I heard there's a shower facility here.
The Hunter Association building had all kinds of welfare amenities — most of them exclusive to hunters. The reason was simple: the moment you got even a little famous, regular people would swarm you and make daily life impossible. In a world where hunters were more famous than celebrities, it was only natural.
And now that I was a state-licensed hunter, I could use those facilities.
Nice.
Buy some clothes first, then shower.
I headed to the shopping mall to buy clothes — a hunter-exclusive mall in the Association basement. Everything from groceries to appliances was cheaper than regular stores. It was basically like a military PX.
Thinking about the military instantly soured my mood. If I'd known things would turn out like this, I would've delayed enlistment as long as possible back in my old world.
Fuck.
There was no point clinging to the old world when there was no way back. I needed to stop thinking about it.
I checked the fit of my newly bought clothes in the mirror. They were dirty and sweat-soaked so I couldn't actually try them on, but I held them up against my body to check.
Why are there so many people around, though?
I'd walked into the women's clothing section and started browsing, but I could feel eyes on me the entire time. How do I put this — it felt like I was putting on a fashion show and everyone was watching.
Those weird stares were hard to get used to.
"Wow, that outfit looks great on her."
"So the saying 'it's never the clothes' fault' was real all along."
"Honey, where do you keep looking?"
"No, it's not like that…"
Fuck.
I felt like a tourist attraction. No — I actually was one. Every time I held a piece of clothing against my body, people went "Oh…" or "Wow…"
A staff member who'd noticed the situation had come over a few minutes earlier and started recommending other clothes.
"How about something like this? It doesn't really suit ordinary people, but I think it'd be perfect for a hunter like you."
"Ah… just a second."
She was clearly trying to dump dead stock on me, figuring that if I bought it, other people would follow.
"I'll just take that one, please."
I was so embarrassed I felt like I'd die if I stayed any longer. I pointed at whatever was hanging on a mannequin, bought it in my size, and fled.
Something off a mannequin should be safe enough — nothing too weird.
I based the size on the clothes I had at home. Stuff that had been too small to wear when I was a guy fit me perfectly now.
After buying the clothes, I moved on to the underwear section.
"Ahem…"
"Hem…"
Thankfully, nobody followed me into the underwear store. Anyone who chased a girl that far would just be a pervert.
"I'll take this, please."
I bought a black underwear set. Teddy-bear panties were absolutely not happening, no matter what.
I paid quickly, left the store, and headed for the spa facilities. Even if I wasn't going into the full bathhouse, I at least needed a shower.
I paid the fee and headed into the locker room.
Wait wait wait wait.
I was a woman now.
Fuck — this place was going to be full of women.
Emergency.
Even showering alone was mortifying.
Even showering by myself at home, looking at my transformed body had been embarrassing. Of course it was — the only naked women I'd ever seen were on video.
Still, I never expected that looking down would mean I couldn't see the floor.
I'd bent over to wash my feet and couldn't see them at all.
What did I see instead?
Shut up.
Anyway, it hadn't occurred to me that other people would be here. And that was entirely the Constellations' fault.
If you asked me why it was the Constellations' fault, I'd probably just tell you to shut up again — but I had my reasons. Because of those bastards, I still hadn't properly adapted to living as a woman. The stream had started the second I arrived in this world, and I'd spent all my time figuring out how the world worked, so I still hadn't adjusted to daily life as a girl.
I'd nearly peed standing up in the bathroom — that pretty much said everything.
Anyway, I stepped into the women's locker room at the Hunter Association.
Thankfully, it was empty. It was a weekday, and it was still working hours, so that made sense. Anyone who'd wanted to wash off after fighting monsters would've come ages ago. Nobody was still walking around filthy at this point.
I stripped quickly and headed into the bath area.
Nobody here either.
I had the entire bathhouse to myself. What a relief. I still wasn't ready to see another naked woman.
"Oh, Hunter?"
Just as I was relaxing, a voice came from behind me. A familiar voice.
"You came to wash up too?"
"Ah, yes. Hello."
Han Nami.
I turned around and greeted her while keeping my eyes locked firmly on her face.
"I heard you even took the Stage 1 Hunter Exam? I only just made it here myself because of work."
"Ah… yes…"
No. Absolutely do not look down. Do not let lust take over. Stay strong, me!
"By the way, I've thought this for a while, but your figure is really amazing."
"Ah."
There it was. That uniquely female brand of girls' talk had just activated.
I'd never seen a naked woman in person, but after countless collab streams online, I knew how women talked among themselves.
"I don't lose to anyone when it comes to my body, but even I can't match you. Honestly, it hurts my pride a little."
Poke, poke.
Han Nami jabbed a finger into my body like she'd already gotten a full look.
"Th-thank you."
Getting complimented on my body nonstop made the whole situation feel even weirder.
"What about mine?"
"Uh-uwaah…"
Was I allowed to answer that? Was this okay? Was this actually happening?
"I-it looks great."
"Come on, you didn't even look!"
Well yeah — if I looked, it'd feel like a crime. Technically it wasn't a crime, but it would feel like I was committing one.
"No, listen. I've always had really big—"
I deliberately stopped thinking. No more information could be allowed into my ears. My male psyche would not survive this.
I felt like I could hear an angel and a devil arguing in my head.
Just looking wouldn't be a problem, right? You're a woman now too.
No, your mind is still a guy's — you can't just look freely, can you?
While I was stuck in that angel-versus-devil standoff—
"…Some of the Constellations talk about bodies sometimes too."
"Ah."
Han Nami's words snapped me back to reality.
Right. Constellations. I got my share of sexual harassment, but Han Nami probably got plenty of it too. The Constellations watching my stream had all thrown in their own "you're pretty" comments, after all.
…Whether "she's probably not a virgin" counted as a compliment was another matter entirely.
I washed myself facing the wall and asked her a question.
"Come to think of it, dealing with Constellations must be exhausting."
"Hmm? The Constellations?"
"You just said some of them talk about bodies."
"Ah, those ones I just give a polite warning, and if they keep it up, I ban them."
"?"
"Well, if people like that stick around, the other Constellations leave. They ruin the vibe."
"???"
"Those types are only there to stir up trouble anyway, so they never stay long."
"???????????"
Is that how it works?
"Hunter… I mean, Sohee, you should be careful too. During the orc subjugation earlier, it looked like you were letting all those chats slide. If you keep entertaining people like that, the decent Constellations will eventually leave."
"Ah… yes. I see?"
I think it's already too late for that.
There wasn't a single normal person among the bastards chatting in my stream. Half of them had nicknames that made no sense to begin with — the kind of usernames where you couldn't even tell what they were going for.
"Also, Constellation nicknames? You can usually guess what kind of Constellation they are just from the name, so I'd recommend getting friendly with the high-tier ones."
"Nicknames?"
"Yes. For example, Lü Bu's nickname is 'Three Dads.' I hear he only watches Chinese hunter streams."
"Ah…"
So these bastards named themselves based on their own legends.
Then what the hell are my guys supposed to be?
A flood of Constellation nicknames flashed through my mind.
My Mom Looks Like a Woman, PlantLoveSquad, I Pulled Out a Mountain… wait. I Pulled Out a Mountain?
This bastard — no way…
Was that Xiang Yu, the Hegemon-King who could uproot mountains and shake the earth?
