Sibling Showdown in Legend League
There was no need to install anything separately for Part 1. The computer Sena had set up for me—which had originally been in her room—already had Legend League installed. But I did need to find the ID. So while I sat there grunting and struggling to locate an account I'd never created, Sena was murmuring something with the viewers.
"Okay."
Sena nodded at the cam, then called out to me right away.
"Hey, how many Legend games have you played?"
"Uh... around 20?"
"What the...?"
Was she that dumbfounded? Sena let out a hollow laugh, her face full of disbelief.
The viewers' reactions were similar. Well, of course. From the chat, Sena's tier from last season was Diamond—clearly top-tier among Abyss Iron Gold Plat Diamond Master Challenger. Facing that, an unranked noob who hadn't even done placements yet pulls "you're trash, I'll win." How infuriating and ridiculous must that be? They'd want to shred him, teach him his place, and make him pay for talking shit without knowing his limits. How do I know? I'd do the same if I were Sena.
"Found the ID?"
"Yeah, almost."
Sure enough, Sena casually struck up a conversation with me, pulling out the tool to school her clueless little bro.
"Hey, since we're at it, wanna make a bet?"
"A bet? What kind?"
"Loser grants the winner one wish. Deal?"
She grinned at me, looking so sly it was infuriating—like she had something that just made you wanna snap.
"Hmm, a bet..."
"It'd be unfair if we just dueled straight-up, so I'll specially make it fair for you."
"Well, if that's the case... Deal."
"Okay. It's a deal now, right? No whining about it being invalid after you lose."
"Talk after you win. After you win."
"Yeees."
And so the bet rules were set:
1. Loser grants winner one wish.
2. Wish limited to something doable during today's stream.
3. For fairness, Yoo Se-na won't use spells or ultimate. If she does, it's an instant loss.
That was the gist. Win conditions differed: I win by hitting 100 CS, solo kill, or tower. Sena wins only with a solo kill. Considering the ult and spell ban, clearly tilted in my favor. Still, she brimmed with confidence—enough to pre-make a custom room and urge me to hurry up and join.
"Ah, hold on a sec."
"Scared? You chickening out? Chicken?"
"I said wait."
"Neeeng."
God, she's so annoying.
The chat vibe was the same.
"Ah, what cosplay? It has to be doable during the stream."
"Exactly what I'm saying."
Sena nodded emphatically as if it made perfect sense, then pointed her thumb at herself.
"What's my tier?"
"And what's he?"
"Betting on this? What's the point? Everyone's gonna pile on my side anyway."
Saying that, she still activated the point betting feature without hesitation. 1 for win, 2 for loss. Needless to say, it all flooded to 1. Even after a full 30 seconds, 2 stayed at 0%.
As those chats flew up, someone finally bet on 2. Not just any bet—the max 250k points all in.
"Wait, full max on reverse? For real?"
A few more tempted by the odds jumped on 2, finalizing the payout...
"Ah, done."
"Ready?"
"Yeah."
"Tell me your ID, I'll invite."
"Songpa-gu NoonaLover."
"...What?"
"That's the ID."
"No way that's..."
Truly caught off guard? Sena scrunched her face in disbelief. Though unlike her furrowed brows, her lips twitched upward just a bit.
"It's mine. My ID."
"Sigh, no wonder it took so long..."
Shaking her head like it was all pointless, Sena asked if we were ready to start.
"Yeah."
"Starting then?"
With that, the screen jumped to pick/ban, and Sena instantly first-picked. 'Adult'—the blacksmith concept champ.
"That's your main, right?"
"Yeah."
"...You really wanna win, huh."
"You started it."
Picked main out of salt, but maybe even she thought it was too much after seeing it.
"Why? Wanna swap?"
Sena grinned and asked. Of course, I nodded—no reason to refuse boosting my odds further. But true to streamer form, she didn't just give it free.
"Then say 'Noona please do something else.'"
"What?"
"Nah, forget it. This is fine."
O... Adult, huh. What to pick? Like Sena's main, Katarina or MF, but unlike this world's unchanged 'Adult', those two didn't exist here. Instead, just a redhead dagger guy forcibly genderbent with a stupid name, and a gunner guy.
Staring at the pretty redhead male blowing on his gun barrel... felt weird. Like spotting a hot short-hair girl, thinking 'damn sexy', then realizing it's a cute guy.
'This fucker's winking where?'Everything so damn infuriating. That's when 'he'—no, my gamer and manly urges—whispered in my ear.
Don't you wanna win? You can win. If you wanna win—
Grab my hand...!
What bullshit. Why grab hands between dudes, fuck.
Luck hates the foolish. Fuck off.
After agonizing, I picked the genderbent Nomago—from dude to girl.
Accepting mission~ Where we going~?
'Oh...'
Sultry voice. But then the old Nomago dude's face popped in my head, ruining it.
'This humiliation...!'I'll pay it back. No matter what.
ADC? What slander against this imperial blood. Viewers assuming away was outrageous, but I kept the truth to myself. Build-or-bust duel ahead—no need to tip my hand.
"Ah, if it ends too quick, we'll have time left..."
She muttered like it was a problem, but her voice and face oozed confidence. That ease showed in her movement too. I glared, focusing every skill shot to chip her, but the fat bulky dude was annoyingly nimble.
"Tsk..."
"Why? Not landing? Watch your skills before shooting."
Click—the mouse sound, her char slammed the hammer. Shockwave nailed my fragile-bodied char.
"See? Hit, dodge, hit, dodge."
"God, so annoying."
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh boom crash!"
I played along, waiting for one chance. It came sooner than expected—in a spot even an onlooker knew she'd win. Sena got cocky and slipped up.
"Why stay under tower? Come out and play~."
Her hyped 'Adult' circled me hugging tower, poking skills. I calmly farmed with tower. Then she realized her lane melted, started sneaky back-moves to dodge minions—
The moment I'd waited for. I dashed forward.
"-Forward Vision."
Closed gap, then burst harder than college entrance exams. Her already minion-chewed HP plunged dizzyingly. Even I felt it hitting; how must she?
Staring at plummeting bar, 'Losing? Me? Like this?' hit her. Her Diamond-top mechanics rolled up sleeves to dispel doubt.
Like always—
Thud-!
Bulky body flashed light, reappeared far away.
"Huh? Didn't you say no ult?"
Flash gone?
