The answers flooding in from the Lebungs were all over the place. Still, the most common response was that they picked based on lane. That made sense. When you thought about the characteristics of the AOS genre, it was only natural. Even if New Dimension's AOS mode was different from typical AOS games, it still carried the name.
“I usually play Traveler…”
Just like one of the viewers had said, no matter which lane I ended up in, I almost always picked Traveler. Familiarity was an advantage nothing else could replace.
“My position? Well…”
For some reason the viewers were under a massive misconception. Sure, I did go top a lot, but calling me a top main didn't fit me at all. I wasn't like those people who fought without thinking and then blamed their teammates when they lost. Besides, I didn't even choose to go top on purpose.
“Jungle. I, I end up getting forced into top a lot lately so that's what I play most… but my main position is jungle.”
What? Why wouldn't they believe me? It wasn't a lie. I started playing New Dimension's AOS mode in the jungle, and it was the role I played the most. But at some point jungle got really popular, so it became hard to get it. The lane that was left over the most was top, and that's how it ended up like this. Of course in ranked where you pick your position from the start this almost never happens… but I didn't feel like going through all that trouble.
“Everyone. If I go jungle and c-carry the game… will you acknowledge me…?”
At the viewers' firm responses, I immediately started queuing. The moment the matchmaking timer hit five seconds, a game was found. I pressed accept right away. The sound effect signaling the game had started rang out, and my view changed completely.

The character I chose was Traveler. My weapon was naturally the Warhammer. For my passive I picked Agility. Basic skills were Acceleration, Deflection, and Leap. For my ultimate I chose Armor of Cold. Since I was jungling, my spells were obviously Dismantle and Blink.
For my traits I picked Pursuit, Blood Rage, Desperate Strike, and Exhilaration. Top was a Spearman. Mid was an Elementalist. The ADC was a Hunter and the support was… a Heretic.
“I'm dodging.”
It's really hard to play when there are so many Heretics….
It took a full thirty minutes until Lene could finally start an AOS mode game. That was because she had dodged three times, refusing to play with a Heretic on her team. Anyway, after overcoming that ordeal, the game finally began. Lene picked Traveler with Warhammer again, keeping the same skills and traits as before.
“Hmm…”
Jaehun, who had been watching Lene's stream, let out a deep sigh. He had zero expectations that Lene would be any good at jungle. New Dimension's jungle wasn't an exaggeration—it really was a position that required a lot of brainpower. Unlike regular AOS games, the visible area was severely limited. That was the obvious reason.
Unlike laners who could just focus on their lane, junglers had to grasp the overall situation and make decisions using only limited vision and the minimap. He didn't need to explain how difficult that was.
