Recommendations Can Only Be Made Once Per Day
The stream title read Jumping Up! with twenty-one people watching. Before I knew it, the viewer count had broken past twenty. If my memory was accurate, this was the first time the number had exceeded twenty since the PVP ranked matches. To be completely honest, when I first looked up this game called Jumping Up, I’d thought, ‘This game is actually that popular?’ My apologies, Tyuni. Jumping Up is undefeated, and Tyuni is a god.
“Ah… I fell again.”
My concentration had slipped while I was lost in thought, and I dropped straight back to the starting point. A quick glance at the chat told me they were calling this a trip to the primordial village.
“Looks like I’m back in the primordial village again…”
As expected, the chat was on fire. Tyuni had told me that with games like this, viewers enjoy watching streamers suffer. There was plenty of harsh language, but it seemed like their own twisted way of saying they were having fun.
“I’m glad everyone looks like they’re enjoying themselves.”
The only problem was that I still hadn’t even cleared the first area—the slums. If I were playing alone it would be one thing, but since the stream was on, I wanted to at least finish it today if possible. The game was just so ridiculously hard that I wasn’t sure I could manage it in one sitting. Honestly, it was probably impossible.
Time for a compromise.
“Umm… For today, I’ll just clear the slums and call it there. That seems doable. I’ll tackle the rest of the areas another time…”
Jumping Up! | 23 viewers | 2:30:05
“Umm… Should we call it here for today…?”

After two and a half hours of Jumping Up, a total of twenty-three people were watching my stream. My usual average was around eleven fixed viewers, so this was more than double—an increase of twelve. Of course, there was no guarantee these people would return for the next stream, but the fact that the number had gone up at all was something I was genuinely grateful for.
On top of that, donations had come in more frequently than usual. Even a rough count put it over twenty thousand won—enough to buy fried chicken. Was this the power of a trending game? Seeing it like this, I finally understood why Tyuni had recommended Jumping Up so strongly.
The only disappointing part was that I had only made it about halfway through the slums.
“Then I’ll go ahead and close Jumping Up…”
The moment I shut the game down, the broadcast screen went completely black, leaving only the chat window floating on the left side. It felt strangely empty. Maybe it was because I was streaming from my computer? When I streamed New Dimension, I could at least show my character and the background. Still, watching the chat on a blank screen wasn’t bad in its own way. I should stream from my PC more often in the future.
“How was today’s stream, everyone?”
“What exactly did you suffer through?”
I genuinely had no idea what they were talking about… But everyone seemed to be having fun, so I guess it was fine.
When I checked the time, it was already nine in the evening. It was about time to end the stream.
“Umm…”
It seemed like everyone was misunderstanding something. Tyuni too—why did they keep getting the wrong idea?
“Everyone, I think there’s a misunderstanding… I’m really bad at games. I said so right at the beginning, didn’t I?”
It wasn’t a lie. I was genuinely terrible at games. Disgustingly bad. For example, if someone who had never played a fighting game before faced me ten times, I was confident I could lose at least five matches. Maybe it was because I had shown decent skill in New Dimension on stream? If that was the case, it would be really troublesome. I was the type of person who got even more nervous when people had expectations of me.
The only reason I could look good in New Dimension was because of my experience from that other world.
“Even if you get your hopes up, I won’t be able to show you anything impressive…”
“Anyway, I wasn’t doing it on purpose, and I really did my best with Jumping Up today…”

“Hmm…”
It was only natural that I would care about public opinion toward me when I went browsing communities before bed after ending a stream. Especially on a day like today when viewership had exceeded twenty people. That said, the fact that I was a noob hadn’t changed, so simply browsing the New Dimension Gallery wasn’t enough to gauge how my stream had been received. I had to search for words that could identify me—‘Lene,’ ‘Heretic Inquisitor,’ things like that—before I could find any discussion about my stream.
…Of course, even then, not that many posts appeared. And since I hadn’t played New Dimension today, I hadn’t expected any mention of me in the NewD gallery.
“…Huh?”
Yet for some reason, there were quite a lot of post titles in the New Dimension Gallery today that contained my username. Even without me searching for them specifically. What was going on? Why was I being mentioned when I hadn’t even played New Dimension on stream today?

Just looking at the titles for a moment was already making my head spin. Of course I had promoted myself in the gallery once before, but I had never wanted the gallery to end up like this… On top of that, seeing concept posts mixed in here and there made it clear the situation had gotten quite out of hand.
This… I was going to need some kind of countermeasure.
