Chapter 129: The 2nd Floor
Chapter 129: The 2nd Floor
And so, the two moved their hips slowly, their lips pressed together.
They couldn’t move as vigorously as usual, as they had to be quiet.
Just as Sara had said, there was no telling what kind of trouble would break loose if Diana caught them.
She had flown into a rage last time in the dungeon just from seeing me kiss Sara. Of course, she might have done that because she knew we would have gone all the way if she’d left us alone.
Besides, the risk of a monster attack was even higher now than it was then. Back then, we were in a secret base, so we were relatively safe, but now we were truly in the middle of the dungeon.
After getting scolded by Diana, I’d sworn I wouldn’t do this kind of thing in the dungeon again, which begged the question of why I was doing it now… but what could I do? Sara was being so damn cute.
Sorry, Diana. Just let it slide this one time.
Guwon offered a silent apology to Diana in his mind before focusing on the movement of his hips.
This was a completely different kind of act from what he had experienced so far.
Until now, one way or another, he had always strived to make his partner feel even the slightest bit more pleasure.
Part of that was simply getting lost in the pleasure itself, but the awareness that it was tied to leveling up was always lodged in a corner of his mind, which likely spurred him on.
As a result, their acts naturally tended to become more intense.
But this was different.
Both Guwon and Sara moved their hips slowly, as if to feel every last inch of each other more completely.
Of course, the biggest reason was to avoid making any loud noises, but Guwon felt that wasn't the only reason for their current actions.
How should I put it...? It was a little embarrassing to think, but it felt like we were reaffirming our love for each other.
He could feel Sara’s affection pouring out from the slow, gentle rotation of her hips, and Guwon, too, tried to move his own hips with as much of his affection for her as he could muster.
It was amazing how the pleasure was just as intense, even when they moved so much more slowly and deliberately than usual.
Though, it felt like a pleasure with a slightly different direction than what he usually felt.
In any case, the mental satisfaction was incredible.
And Sara was likely drenched in far more pleasure than he was.
No matter how slowly they moved, his heightened Charm stat wasn't going anywhere.
Since this was the first time they’d had sex after he’d poured all his bonus stats into Charm, the pleasure she felt would be all the more intense.
As proof, though they had only been joined for a short time, Sara had already shuddered and reached her peak several times.
“Hnghhh! Hhup. Hn. Hahmm. Hh.”
Each time Sara climaxed, Guwon pressed his lips more firmly against hers, muffling the sounds.
Should I release my Climax Restraint soon?
Of course, a part of him wanted to stay connected like this forever, but reality dictated that he couldn’t.
I’ve had more than enough satisfaction, so let’s call it a night.
Guwon timed it with Sara’s next climax and released the Climax Restraint he had cast on himself.
The feeling of ejaculating while Sara’s insides, already tight, clenched down even harder with her orgasm was, as always, the absolute best.
Even after Guwon finished, Sara didn’t pull away from his body for a while.
She continued to kiss him deeply, rotating her hips as if trying to wring out every last drop that might still be left inside him.
And so their long, long kiss continued until the afterglow of her climax had completely faded.
“Hah… Haah, haah, haah. A-Are you satisfied now?”
“Yeah. It was the best.”
“H-Hmph. You only say that at times like this.”
“No. You’re always the best.”
Guwon said in a serious voice, looking directly into Sara’s eyes.
Although his own greed prevented him from giving her a proper confession, even now that he fully understood her feelings, he didn’t want to hide his affection for her.
And what if she confesses to me first? That’s a problem for another time. I’ll think about it when it happens.
At his earnest tone, Sara’s face grew redder and redder, until even the tips of her ears were bright crimson.
Then, as if she didn’t want him to see her face, she ducked her head low.
But Guwon saw it clearly. He saw the corners of her mouth twitching as she desperately tried to keep from smiling.
Cute.
“S-So. How much time is left until the shift change?”
Unable to bear the embarrassing atmosphere any longer, Sara was the one to change the subject.
“Huh? Ah…”
He checked the time and saw that it was already past the hour for Sara’s watch.
Wow, we went at it for quite a while. It’s a miracle no monsters showed up.
“Looks like it’s past my time to take over, huh? You should go in now.”
“No, but…”
It was certainly past time for the shift change, but it felt shameless to just go inside.
Sara had even cut into her own sleeping time to create this moment for just the two of us, thinking I’d been hard this whole time.
But he couldn’t lie and say it wasn’t time yet.
Diana had brought a watch for situations just like this.
Clocks did exist in this world. They seemed to be incredibly expensive, but there was no way Diana wouldn’t have one.
It was also quite inconvenient for Guwon to be the only one who knew the time, so he had swallowed his pride and received a pocket watch for the party.
“It’s fine.”
“No. No matter how I think about it, that’s not right. I’ll stand your watch too, so why don’t you go in and get some more rest?”
“I don’t want to. That would make it seem like I did this just to get out of my watch duty.”
“Who would think that? I wouldn’t think that at all. If anyone does, I’ll grab them and give them a piece of my mind.”
“Even if no one else thinks that, it’s a matter of how I feel.”
It seemed Sara had no intention of backing down.
She has a surprisingly stubborn side to her.
What should I do? It feels way too wrong to just go to sleep like she said.
A staring contest began between Guwon and Sara, as if neither was willing to yield a single step.
At this rate, we’re both just going to lose sleep.
Well, since I haven’t pulled out yet, Healing Sex is still active, so it should be fine… Wait. Healing Sex?
An idea flashed in Guwon’s mind.
“Alright. How about this? Just sleep like this.”
“W-What are you suddenly talking about?”
“When Healing Sex is active, it relieves fatigue, right? Thanks to that, it’s somewhat okay even if I pull an all-nighter.”
He’d already verified it. When he’d first had sex with Leia, he’d stayed up all night and then gone into the dungeon, but he’d been perfectly fine.
Besides, his Healing Sex skill level had risen a bit since then, so he’d be even better off than before.
“…The fact that you know that means you’ve pulled an all-nighter with either Diana or Leia.”
Sara said, her lips pouting slightly.
Uh, oh? I thought it was a good suggestion, but the conversation is heading in a weird direction.
Worse, it was true, so he couldn’t think of an excuse.
But if he told her the truth—that he’d done it because he didn’t know what the Gumiho might do—he’d just make her worry for no reason.
Guwon had no choice but to try and gloss over it.
“A-Anyway, so how about you just sleep like this, Sara? The position might be a little uncomfortable, but…”
Sara was still glaring at him, but she let his clumsy attempt to change the subject slide.
“…You’re not the only one affected by Healing Sex, you know? I’ll stay awake, so why don’t you sleep like this?”
But it seemed she had no intention of backing down from her own argument.
Another staring contest began between Guwon and Sara.
No choice. It’s time to resort to my final measure.
“If you keep this up, I’ll force you to sleep.”
“Force me to sleep? How?”
“With a single blast of Saint’s Touch, of course…” “A-Are you crazy? What if someone finds out?!”
Though Sara had been knocked out instantly by Saint’s Touch that time, she seemed to vaguely remember that she had made a tremendous amount of noise.
“Don’t worry. I’ll keep your mouth thoroughly covered until you’re completely unconscious.”
Sara shot Guwon a look with her beet-red face, then finally pressed her body against his.
“I don’t care anymore. I’m going to sleep, so do whatever you want.”
Sara said curtly and rested her head on Guwon’s shoulder.
Soon after, he heard the sound of her soft, rhythmic breathing by his ear.
“Sara. You asleep?”
Guwon asked quietly, but there was no reply.
Despite her words, she must have been tired.
Well, she did wake up on her own to match my watch schedule. That must mean she was paying close attention, so it makes sense she’d be tired.
Guwon stroked Sara lovingly.
And so, Guwon ended up continuing his watch, but unlike before, he was now quite happy.
For one, he had a slender beauty in his arms that he could grope to his heart’s content.
Personally, he thought Sara’s ass was truly the best. It felt like a perfect blend of feminine softness and athletic firmness. He could probably touch it for the rest of his life and never get tired of it.
And even though Sara was asleep, that legendary tightness of hers wasn't going anywhere.
Even in her sleep, her insides constantly moved, squeezing his member tightly, leaving Guwon with no time to be bored.
He even started to think that if he could stand watch like this every day, he’d be happy to take all the shifts himself without even setting a rotation.
But Guwon’s happy time did not last forever.
Suddenly, a loud alarm rang out in the middle of the silent desert.
Did a monster approach? I didn’t sense any presence at all.
His hands had been busy with Sara’s body, but he was still aware that he was on watch, so his eyes and ears had been on high alert.
Since it was a silent, empty place, there was no way he wouldn’t have heard a monster approaching.
For it to get this close without me noticing…
Could the alarm magic have malfunctioned?
The suspicion crossed his mind, but he couldn’t just ignore it.
Besides, now that the alarm had sounded, Diana and Leia would be out in a second.
“Sara. Wake…”
“Yes. I’m awake.”
Sara must have heard the alarm too, as her eyes were already open.
Guwon and Sara hastily pulled on their pants and stood up before Diana and Leia could come out.
“But I don’t see anything.”
“You’re right. No, wait a minute. Don’t you feel the ground shaking?”
Sara seemed to close her eyes and focus her senses, then suddenly muttered those words.
“A monster?!”
“Guwon!”
Just then, Diana and Leia burst out of the tent.
“The alarm went off, but I don’t see any monsters.”
“I do feel a slight tremor in the ground, though.”
“What?! Don’t tell me it’s already… Everyone, watch your feet!”
Hearing Sara’s words, Diana shouted urgently.
My feet? Is there some kind of monster that moves underground, like a mole?
Guwon immediately activated Saint’s Touch on his feet.
The tremor in the ground seemed to grow stronger and stronger, and then, suddenly, a giant monster shot up from the earth.
Right from under Guwon’s feet.
“Kuraaaareeeeeek!”
The creature, which had erupted with enough force to lift Guwon’s body lightly into the air, collapsed onto the ground and writhed.
“What is this thing?”
Guwon said, prodding the creature’s body with his foot, which still had Saint’s Touch active.
Overall, it looked like an earthworm.
An earthworm with a body that looked to be about two meters in circumference.
Its end was split into six sections that fanned out like flower petals, and inside were countless protrusions that looked like teeth.
Did it shoot up from underground to swallow me whole, only to get hit by Saint’s Touch and collapse?
What an anticlimactic bastard.
“It’s a creature called a Sand Worm. I didn’t mention it because I thought it would appear much later.”
“So it’s a monster that appears pretty deep into the 2nd Floor?”
“Mm. Normally, you’d have to walk for three or four days to reach the area where these things appear. I wonder why it’s here.”
“Maybe there’s something it likes around here?”
“Hmm. Something a Sand Worm likes… They’re generally known to prefer areas near water, but I don’t see any oases around here, do you?”
That was true. No matter which way you looked, 360 degrees, there was nothing but sand.
The only water to be had here was probably what was inside that cactus over there.
Other than that, there were only the fluids we spilled while…
Guwon suddenly felt a cold sweat run down his back.
No way. It can’t be, right? We’re so far from where they live. There’s no way it came all this way just for that. No matter how I think about it, that can’t be it. It must be a coincidence.
“W-Well, this thing is pretty weak.”
“It’s normally quite a dangerous creature.”
“For something so dangerous, it collapsed pathetically the moment it appeared.”
“Well, that’s because your skill is abnormal. Normally, it’s a rather tricky monster because it attacks by suddenly bursting out of the ground without any warning. It’s no exaggeration to say that most adventurers who fail to reach the 2nd Floor’s teleportation magic circle fail because of this creature.”
Diana, oblivious to Guwon’s flustered state, explained kindly.
“But you two are amazing. I thought I woke up the moment I heard the alarm, but when I came outside, you were both already here. Who was on watch?”
But unexpectedly, it was Leia who asked the sharp question.
Still, Guwon didn’t panic.
I already anticipated this question the moment a monster appeared while I was still connected to Sara.
“Ah. I was just about to switch with Sara. The timing just happened to overlap.”
Guwon said, needlessly clutching the pocket watch in his pocket.
“I see.”
Fortunately, Leia seemed to accept his explanation.
“Anyway, I’m glad nothing serious happened. Everyone should go back inside and rest. I’ll stand watch for a little longer.”
Sara, also wanting to avoid suspicion, tried to send Diana and Leia back to the tent.
But this means Sara will end up standing her watch properly after all.
I feel bad about this.
But if Guwon didn’t go back inside the tent, it would only raise more suspicion.
I guess there’s no choice. I’ll have to do something nice for Sara later. For now, I’ll go back in.
Guwon sent Sara an apologetic look and went inside the tent.
