A mysterious man with overwhelming telekinetic power hides in plain sight at a seedy Seoul motel, working the counter in a tracksuit and trying to live like a normal person. But after a massive bombing throws Korea into chaos, the motel becomes the center of a silent war: Chinese covert forces flood into Seoul, the U.S. moves in through the CIA, and the Korean government scrambles to control the narrative.
Choi Cheolmin, the motel’s feared-but-strangely-principled gangster “VIP,” awakens after a body-reconstruction transformation into a superhuman fighter who decides he has to protect the city—only to discover he’s being used as bait by American intelligence and hunted by Chinese enhanced soldiers and armored “cave troopers.” As gang alliances collapse and the streets turn lawless, Cheolmin starts carving a path through the criminal underworld, believing he’s becoming a hero.
Meanwhile, the true monster may be the quiet staffer in the tracksuit: bullets bend away from him, missiles vanish into space, and he can manipulate bodies down to the organs—saving or killing with a thought. A Russian woman named Bella pushes him toward darker choices with eerie certainty, while a 400-year-old vampire disciplinarian, Chae Seorin, checks into Room 103 to assassinate him—only to have her mission, her hunger, and even sunlight itself rewritten by his power.
What begins as a “motel life” comedy turns into an escalating three-way covert war—crime syndicates, state intelligence, and inhuman beings—spiraling toward one question nobody can answer safely:
Who is the man in the tracksuit, and what happens to the world when he finally stops pretending to be normal?
