Prologue
“What the fuck?! What the hell is this??”
After barging into the bathroom and catching sight of myself in the mirror, I could only stare in shock.
Because staring back at me was not a dark-tanned, muscular body, but a compact young man with pale skin.
In truth, the feeling that something was wrong had started before I even looked in the mirror.
I was 182 centimeters tall, and whenever I slept in bed, my toes always rested against the footboard. But when I woke up this morning, they hadn’t been pressed against the end at all—they’d felt snugly tucked inside the bed instead.
And when I pushed myself up to get out of bed, the skin on my hands and feet was no longer brown, but almost white, like a Caucasian’s, and all the dense muscle I’d built up from hard strength training had vanished completely.
The moment I looked down at my own body, a chill ran through me, and I rushed straight to the bathroom where the mirror was.
I threw the bathroom door open at a near-run, and the inner doorknob slammed into the wall with a bang, but I barely even noticed.
The me I saw now wasn’t the me from yesterday.
