I'll Do Whatever You Say, Please!! (8)
Iron Colossus…?
“But this is a good opportunity. I’ll personally be your sparring partner this time.”
Clack.
Iron Colossus raised his fists and settled into a stance. It was an awkward fighting posture that would have made his mentor, Onyx Knight, burst out laughing. His metal gauntlets produced a heavy clink, and between them, his calm eyes gazed steadily at the younger woman.
“So, Yeon-ha. You don’t have to endure it anymore.”
At his words, Yeon-ha froze, her body going rigid. Then she broke down in tears.
The idiot wasn’t looking at her. He was staring at the trail of blood at the corner of her mouth. And that was nothing compared to the impact he was currently absorbing. The fact that he could stand so tall after taking her kick head-on, still looking at her like that… She simply couldn’t believe it. That was why the sobs tore out of her.
“Then… then I’m really going to do it?”
“Yes.”
“For real. I’m really going to. Don’t… don’t regret it…!!”
“Understood.”
Yeon-ha ran. This time, her steps were lighter than her voice. She could feel the curse gradually loosening its grip.
Tap. Light footwork, a heart that had grown much lighter.
Boom!! A low sweeping kick followed immediately by a rising summersault kick. It was one of her signature combos, and one of the techniques Iron Colossus knew best after training with her for so long.
So of course he could block it. Naturally.
Bang! Kwaaang!
The sound of a foot striking an arm was unbelievably loud, but both of them were superhumans. Yeon-ha swung her legs with a much lighter heart, trusting Iron Colossus. Until the curse was completely gone.
And Iron Colossus felt the same. As he blocked each of her attacks, his own heart grew lighter. The more the killing intent vanished from her strikes, the clearer he could see her true feelings approaching him step by step.
The agony and worries he had carried these past few days felt almost ridiculous as they melted away with every blow he took. Because he believed in her. More than ever before. More than anything else could compare.
Until her curse was completely lifted.
Bang! Kwaaaang! Bang!!
On the surface, it looked like a vicious exchange of blows and defense. A one-sided assault met with one-sided defense. Yet the two of them were slowly smiling at each other.
“How about this!”
“Mm.”
He blocked a high kick that transitioned straight into a Brazilian kick and smiled.
“Then… what about this!?”
“This one’s fine.”
He caught the beautiful, picture-perfect leg sweep with both arms.
“Hah!”
“That one hit bone.”
Even when he blocked an upward kick aimed at his chin only to take a spinning back kick to the shoulder in mid-air, Iron Colossus was smiling—albeit awkwardly.
When Yeon-ha’s weakening resistance finally reached its end, he caught her collapsing body in his arms and whispered softly.
“You worked hard.”
“I’m sorry. For everything. I’m so sorry.”
“It’s alright. Go to sleep.”
“Mhm, mhm. Really… sorry.”
He gently stroked the back of her trembling head. Soon Yeon-ha’s eyes slid shut as if she had fainted.
Weeks of relentless training, sex with Tran Van Bao since morning, the rape that began in the evening, and the stamina drained away while resisting Blacksmith’s magical tools had finally reached their limit.
Iron Colossus carefully laid her down, took a deep breath, straightened his back, and turned toward Chrome Fist, who was trembling in the corner.
“Now let’s finish this.”
His voice dripped with exhaustion he could no longer hide, yet it remained calm.
“Bull… shit!!”
Chrome Fist roared and clenched his fists, stepping forward.
“You think I don’t know your bitch is a fucking rag doll? Huh!? One tap and she’d die, and you dare—!”
“Then why aren’t you coming?”
Iron Colossus spoke flatly to Chrome Fist, who had stopped just out of arm’s reach.
“You were so confident. Why are you standing there, Chrome Fist?”
“You… you… son of a bitch…!!”
Pride and inferiority complex finally overpowered fear. Chrome Fist ground his teeth and charged.
At the same time, Iron Colossus planted both feet firmly on the ground, dropped his arms, relaxed his body, and simply stood there.
Thuuud!!
He took Chrome Fist’s strike directly with his body, then opened his eyes and looked at him.
“You, you fucking idiot!! As expected!! A brain-dead moron who’s run out of strength—!”
Because he hadn’t expected his blow to actually land, Chrome Fist cackled and raised his fist again. That was when Iron Colossus’s arm moved like lightning.
├─ Tier 1:Basic hold and airway constriction ✓
├─ Tier 2:Cervical spine compression for superhumans ✓
└─ Tier 3:Full vertebral crush under maximum strength — ACTIVATED ★
“Kuh… heuk!!”
Rear naked choke. Also known as a sleeper hold in wrestling. The pinnacle of techniques that wrap both arms around an opponent to cut off breathing and block blood flow to the brain.
When performed by a ‘superhuman’—especially a physical-type superhuman—this technique went far beyond simply stopping breath.
Crack, crunch!!
It snapped the cervical vertebrae. When applied with sufficiently trained arm strength, the technique completely crushed the opponent’s neck. However, Chrome Fist had barely managed to wedge his arms into the gap and was holding on.
“Grrrrk…!! Urgh!! What the—what kind of strength…!!”
Iron Colossus said nothing and simply added more power to his arms. Crack, crunch. The sounds of bones dislocating rang out as Chrome Fist’s arms were being pulverized beneath Iron Colossus’s forearms. The pressure that could even crush arms made of metal was comparable to an industrial press.
Chrome Fist gasped for air and screamed through the narrow gap he had forced open.
“Thunderbirrrrrd!! Order! It’s an order!! Kill him! Kill Iron Colossus!!!”
Unlike Yeon-ha, Thunderbird was still conscious. Because of the bomb collar, she couldn’t flee or recklessly intervene in battle, but she had been waiting for her chance. She had held back in case he ordered her to commit suicide, but this command was to attack Iron Colossus.
Thunderbird gracefully descended from the table, stood up, extended her arm toward Iron Colossus, and gave a subtle smile.
“Mr. Iron Colossus.”
“Mm.”
Even in this situation, the two continued their conversation in the same tone as always.
“Could you say those words to me too?”
“What do you want to hear?”
“It’s alright. Everything will be fine. You can endure it. Something like that.”
With an oddly expectant expression, she smiled faintly.
“If I hear those words, I might be able to hold back a little.”
“Has the curse been lifted?”
“I calculated the magic power generated the moment that order was given. I’m a magic-type, after all.”
“Then why now…?”
Why attack him now, of all times. Iron Colossus tilted his head, watching Chrome Fist’s face grow paler by the second as he listened to their exchange.
“Because I want to be ‘saved’ too. I wanted someone to rescue me… but after I became S-class, no one could save me anymore.”
She had saved others, but had never been saved herself. It had been rather disappointing. Thunderbird smiled with pure white teeth.
“I’ll clean up our team’s internal affairs soon. I’m truly sorry for dragging you into this.”
“Mm.”
“Anyway, will you save me? Please tell me it’s alright for me too.”
“It’s alright, Thunderbird.”
“…So this is what it feels like. I’d forgotten.”
Crackle!!
Thunderbird smirked and flicked her hand. Zap, crackle. The sound of air tearing apart accompanied blue-white currents that slammed into Chrome Fist’s body. Most of the electricity tore through him, but since their bodies were in contact, some discharge was inevitable.
That was why she had asked him to say it was alright. Even the aftershock of the current would be painful enough.
But Iron Colossus kept his arms locked with the same strength. He thought of it as no different from rescuing civilians in a flooded area where high-voltage lines had snapped. He simply clenched his teeth and endured the electric current racing through his entire body.
“Grrrrk!!”
One step. Two steps. Dragging Chrome Fist along as he walked.
He intended to finish it before the discharged current could loosen his grip, moving as carefully as possible until he reached right in front of the collapsed wall. Then he looked straight up at the sky beyond and nodded.
Okay. Perfect.
Onyx Knight’s voice came through his earpiece.
Bang!!
A gunshot rang sharply from beyond the night sky.
“You… bastards…!!”
Even in his final moment, some superhuman instinct remained. Chrome Fist yanked the arm buried in Iron Colossus’s forearm free and blocked the bullet. The instant the round ricocheted off the metal forearm with a spark—
He realized he had just pulled out the very arm that had been blocking Iron Colossus’s choke.
“Ah. Wait…”
Crraaaack!!
Right after, his neck snapped.
