An Urgent Notice Regarding My Hiatus
I am putting this novel on hiatus due to personal circumstances. T_T (This is going to be a long post.)
I wanted to be completely honest with you all about the reasons behind this decision. I think I might even have to change my pen name and start completely fresh. I had no choice but to make this decision.
The truth is, I am currently suffering from relentless stalking, obsession, and harassment. I had an acquaintance whom I considered a friend for about a year and a half. Things escalated to the point where they attempted suicide in my home and even assaulted me. The police had to be called, and a protective separation order was issued.
But even after that, they kept contacting me, crying about how hard things were for them, and I ended up in a state where I couldn't reject them. We even met up after the separation order, and another incident occurred. Because of this, I am shutting down all my social media and community accounts.
The reason I'm deleting everything is that they keep trying to contact me through every possible channel, tracking down my stories, and reading them. Even when I changed my pen name and moved to a different platform, they kept contacting me, asking questions even when I made it clear I wanted nothing to do with them.
This person has already been leaving comments on this very novel. It hasn't even been a month since I started writing as an author, and many of you wondered why I was abandoning a story that was doing so well despite being in a minor genre. This is the real reason.
If I block them, they call me from restricted numbers. I will likely have to proceed with legal action. I am incredibly sorry to those who have supported my work, only for it to end in a hiatus.
Since this hiatus is due to stalking and obsession, I plan to take this story with me under a different pen name. I intend to keep my writing style and the illustration art style exactly the same.
I am truly, deeply sorry.
