Undercover Bunny Girl - Part 3
Min-young's day as a dealer flew by in a blur.
Shuffling cards, organizing chips, handling customers, and most importantly, running the games smoothly.
The guests rarely hid their emotions.
Some grew excited after winning big, while others slumped in despair after losing everything.
Min-young kept his expression perfectly neutral, operating the games with flawless professionalism.
"I'll replace the cards," he announced.
He deftly placed a fresh deck on the table and shuffled with quick, precise movements.
Tension hung thick over the blackjack table where the VIP guests had gathered.
Min-young dealt the cards like a true professional, never letting his expression falter.
The guests watched his every move, yet none of them suspected he was actually a police officer.
Time passed, and before long it was the end of his shift.
The casino clock read 3 a.m.
Min-young blended in with the other employees heading out and walked naturally toward the first-floor exit.
Then he changed direction, slipping down the staff-only staircase toward the lower levels.
The casino looked glamorous from the outside, but the basement held spaces ordinary guests never saw.
Two floors down, there were staff-only areas and private VIP rooms.
Min-young moved carefully along the corridor, checking the small signs on each door.
Most led to storage rooms or staff lounges, but a few were reinforced with thick steel doors.
He stopped in front of one of them.
Unlike the others, it had a security panel installed.
The access log beside the door appeared to be restricted to VIPs only.
Something's here.
Min-young glanced around and listened closely.
Almost no sound came from inside.
Still, it was clearly not an ordinary storage room.
He began a quick search of the area.
This place might be connected to the location his sister had been investigating.
Min-young reached for the door handle.
Even after stepping inside and looking around, he found nothing useful.
It resembled a storage room, yet the VIP designation felt suspicious.
No important documents or suspicious items turned up no matter how thoroughly he searched.
Did I just waste my time…?
Feeling disappointed, Min-young started to leave the room.
The moment he opened the door, however, his entire body froze at the sight of the two women standing in front of him.
Kang Soo-yeon. The youngest daughter of the Taekwang Group and the casino's actual operator.
Standing beside her, as always, was her ever-present shadow, Baek So-hee.
Kang Soo-yeon possessed an aura that went far beyond simple beauty.
She stood well over 170 centimeters tall, and the high heels she wore only emphasized her commanding presence.
Her shoulder-length black hair gleamed with a natural shine, framing a delicate face with striking features.
Her sharp, dark eyes carried an overwhelming intensity that could pin anyone in place.
Min-young looked up at her and instinctively felt intimidated.
She was already a full head taller than him, and the heels made her seem even more imposing.
Most of all, he couldn't tear his eyes away from her chest.
The generous curves looked almost as large as his own head, clearly outlined beneath the thin slip dress.
Overwhelmed by her presence, Min-young quickly averted his gaze.
She wore a black slip dress that clung to her body, layered with a light fur jacket, and held a wine glass in one hand.
Her lips were painted a vivid red as she studied him.
Baek So-hee radiated an equally formidable aura.
With her short hair and cool expression, she observed the entire situation from Soo-yeon's side.
Though slightly shorter than Soo-yeon, her lean figure and sharp demeanor made her feel unapproachable.
Min-young's heart sank.
If they discovered him now, it was over.
Fortunately, he was still wearing his dealer uniform.
Thinking fast, he lifted the small document envelope he happened to be holding and acted as though he had simply come to retrieve something.
"Ah… I'm sorry. The person in charge wasn't around, so I came to pick up the documents myself."
He kept his voice as calm as possible.
Kang Soo-yeon regarded him with clear interest.
"I don't think I've seen your face before."
Min-young quickly bowed his head and answered politely.
"Yes, I'm Jang Na-hyun, a new dealer. I'm still not familiar with the layout… My apologies."
Jang Na-hyun was the alias he used.
Kang Soo-yeon smiled faintly and looked him up and down.
At that moment, her gaze brushed over the employee ID hanging around his neck.
Jang Na-hyun…? she murmured, her eyes narrowing with meaning.
"A new hire… Well, be careful on your way."
She said nothing more and walked past him, yet Min-young could feel the sharpness in her gaze.
Even after leaving the area, cold sweat trickled down his back.
---
Back in her private room inside the casino, Kang Soo-yeon quietly sipped her wine, lost in thought.
The new dealer she had run into during closing time felt off somehow.
She didn't seem like an ordinary newcomer.
Her eyes, her demeanor, and even the place she had emerged from all felt unnatural.
It couldn't have been a coincidence.
Most of all, she looked far too similar to the "Jang Seo-hyun" who had once approached her older brother.
Even the names were alike.
Setting her glass down, Soo-yeon turned to Baek So-hee standing beside her.
"So-hee, bring me the file on that new dealer named Jang Na-hyun."
Baek So-hee nodded as if she had already expected the request and moved at once.
She soon returned with a thin file in hand.
Kang Soo-yeon accepted it quietly and flipped to the first page.
Name, age, hometown, work history… On the surface, it was ordinary employee information.
Yet her sharp eyes weren't easily fooled.
As she scanned the pages, her expression shifted subtly.
"How strange."
So-hee responded immediately.
"What is it?"
Soo-yeon tapped one page with her finger.
"The work history is too clean. It's as if someone deliberately arranged it. And this photo…"
She studied the attached employee ID photo closely.
"The photo looks off. Official documents usually use standard ID-style shots, but this one feels edited. The details are blurry, and the background seems unnatural."
So-hee leaned in to examine the file and nodded.
"It definitely feels different from regular employee records. Even though it's an official document, it looks overly polished."
Kang Soo-yeon closed the file and smiled.
"She might not be just a regular dealer."
---
The next day.
Kang Soo-yeon sat in her office with multiple monitors displaying live CCTV feeds.
Her gaze remained fixed on one person.
Jang Na-hyun.
The dealer shuffled cards at the table with skilled hands, yet something about the movements felt subtly off.
They were precise, but almost too practiced, like a machine repeating programmed motions.
That alone wasn't enough to confirm anything suspicious.
Soon, however, another behavior caught Soo-yeon's attention.
Every time the bunny girls passed by, Min-young would press down on his skirt as if trying to cover his crotch.
The gesture was clearly unnatural.
Most dealers might adjust their posture while seated, but repeatedly fussing with their skirt like that was unusual.
His walking style also seemed strange.
He moved in high heels with apparent skill, yet upon closer inspection it looked forced, as if he were pretending to be accustomed to them.
Soo-yeon smiled and zoomed in on the screen.
Then her eyes stopped on one particular detail.
His neck.
The Adam's apple was far too prominent for a woman.
It wasn't huge, but it was definitely visible.
Kang Soo-yeon's gaze sharpened.
He's a man.
She was certain now.
It wasn't a mistake.
A man in women's clothing had infiltrated their casino.
Why?
If he simply wanted to work as a dealer, any other casino would have accepted him.
Yet he had specifically chosen their casino, which only hired women.
Something's going on.
---
That night, Min-young was dealing Texas Hold'em in the main hall as usual.
While focused on the game and offering calm smiles to the guests, a bunny girl approached him quietly.
"Na-hyun, do you have a moment?"
After excusing herself from the table, Min-young listened to the young bunny girl's words.
"You've been selected as the VIP blackjack dealer. Could you head to the VIP room on the second basement floor right away?"
Min-young's fingertips trembled slightly.
VIP dealer?
This wasn't a simple promotion.
Dealers assigned to the VIP rooms normally had to pass strict internal evaluations.
Moreover, he had only been here a short time. There was no way he should have been pulled for VIP duty so quickly.
Yet he couldn't refuse.
In fact, the VIP room was one of the casino's most critical areas.
Going there might give him a clearer picture of the casino's inner workings.
Min-young forced a natural smile and nodded.
"Understood. I'll head there right away."
The staff member smiled briefly and began guiding him.
Thus, Min-young made his way to the VIP room on the second basement floor.
The moment he stepped inside, he sensed something was wrong.
The room was far too dark.
A normal VIP room should have had proper lighting, yet this space felt deliberately dimmed.
At first he could see nothing, but gradually shapes began to emerge.
There were no VIP customers inside.
Instead, only Kang Soo-yeon, the owner of the casino, and her aide Baek So-hee were present.
Min-young's heart dropped.
It's a trap.
He immediately turned to flee through the door.
But the door wouldn't budge.
They locked it from the outside…!
Cold sweat ran down his back.
He realized he was completely trapped.
Kang Soo-yeon rose slowly from her seat with a relaxed smile, wine glass still in hand.
Her eyes gleamed sharply.
"Welcome, Na-hyun. Shall we have a quiet talk?"
Min-young struggled to maintain his composure.
Though a sense of dread grew inside him, he moved carefully so as not to show any panic on the surface.
He scanned both Kang Soo-yeon and Baek So-hee.
Whatever happens, I can't act suspiciously here.
Forcing a smile, he spoke quietly.
"Is something the matter? I was told I'd be dealing blackjack, so I came right away."
Kang Soo-yeon ignored his words completely.
"You're a man, aren't you?"
Min-young's heart plummeted at those words.
"…Pardon?"
The reaction was instinctive, and he couldn't hide his shock.
He tried to regain a calm expression and deny it, but the moment he met Kang Soo-yeon's unwavering gaze, he knew lying would be pointless.
I've been found out… But she still doesn't know I'm a police officer.
Kang Soo-yeon's stare never wavered.
She was already certain.
Any further lies would only deepen her suspicion.
After a short silence, Min-young sighed and spoke.
"…Yes. You're right. I am a man."
