Undercover Bunny Girl - Part 2
When he opened the drawer, a thin file folder lay tucked deep inside. He pulled it out and carefully unfolded the pages. Inside were the floor plans of a high-end casino, along with employee access lists and a VIP customer roster. Familiar names appeared, but what caught his eye most was a small note scribbled in the corner of the file.
"VIP zone — restricted access. Be wary of Kang Soo-yeon's inner circle."
Min-young felt his fingertips tremble. Kang Soo-yeon. He realized he could no longer sit back and do nothing. He decided to seek out Ji-soo again. This time, he had to confirm everything with his own eyes. As he headed toward the National Police Agency's investigation bureau, he tried to steady himself, but his heart refused to stop pounding.
When he arrived at the bureau and opened the office door, Ji-soo was flipping through documents with a heavy expression. The moment she saw Min-young, she let out a short sigh and looked up.
"You're here again, Mr. Min-young. What is it this time?"
Without the slightest hesitation, Min-young placed the file on her desk.
"Take a look at this, Detective. It came from my sister's room. She was investigating Kang Soo-yeon. Why did she hide this fact? Why wasn't this information shared even within the police force?"
Ji-soo pressed her lips into a firm line. She slowly picked up the documents and turned each page. Finally, she let out a deep sigh and spoke.
The youngest daughter of the Taekwang Group, the woman running an illegal casino. His sister had been investigating her. Why had she hidden this? And why had she suddenly disappeared?
Ji-soo stared at the papers in silence for a long moment before finally breaking the quiet with a heavy voice.
"The Taekwang Group… they're not an ordinary corporation. On the surface, they're a major conglomerate, but in reality they're a massive organization that runs illegal businesses and pulls strings in politics from behind the scenes. Even the police can't easily touch them."
Min-young narrowed his eyes.
"What kind of businesses are they running?"
"The Taekwang Group operates various companies, but the most dangerous one is the casino run by Kang Soo-yeon. Officially, they handle swimming pools and hotel businesses, but behind the scenes they're running illegal casinos, high-stakes private gambling for VIPs, and systematic money laundering. There are people inside the police connected to the Taekwang Group, so it's difficult to move freely. In truth, Senior Seo-hyun wasn't just an ordinary investigator. She was an undercover operative known only to a very small number of people within the police. She was working as a spy inside the Taekwang Group, gathering information and feeding it back to us. She had deeply infiltrated the casino to monitor their illegal activities, but one day she suddenly stopped contacting us. Without leaving a single trace."
Min-young remained silent for a while. Countless thoughts raced through his mind. At last, with a resolute voice, he spoke.
"Detective, send me in undercover. I need to find out why my sister disappeared. I'm going into that casino."
Ji-soo stared at him in surprise, her eyes filled with both alarm and worry.
"Mr. Min-young, do you understand what you're saying? That place isn't an ordinary casino. It's dangerous. Senior Seo-hyun vanished there too. If the Taekwang Group discovered her identity, there's no telling what happened to her."
"I know. But my sister went in alone. I'm different. This time you'll be supporting me from behind. You can provide internal information and help make sure my identity isn't exposed, can't you?"
Ji-soo let out a deep sigh and folded her arms. She seemed to be thinking it over. There were many people inside the police connected to the Taekwang Group, and sending Min-young in was risky. Yet she also knew his determination would not waver.
"…Is there really no other way?"
"No. I'll go in myself and confirm everything. I have to find out why my sister disappeared and what happened to her. And above all, I need to know whether she's still alive."
Ji-soo hesitated, but finally nodded slowly.
"All right. But I have conditions. Do not take any reckless actions. And if things get dangerous, get out immediately. I'll support you with as much information as I can."
Min-young pressed his lips together and nodded firmly. Now his path was set. However, getting a job at the Taekwang Group casino was far from easy. Since it operated illegally, there was no way to approach it through normal channels. Moreover, the bunny girls who served drinks and alcohol to dealers and customers were all women. Men were completely excluded from that environment.
This detail bothered him, but Ji-soo told him it wouldn't be a problem. She slowly looked him over and muttered with a serious expression.
"Your appearance is more than enough. If you cross-dress, you'll look more feminine than most women. It might actually be so natural that no one will suspect a thing."
Min-young frowned.
"You're not seriously planning to dress me as a woman to infiltrate the place, are you?"
Ji-soo nodded decisively.
"There's no other way. The casino almost never hires men. But if you're a woman, it's easy to get in. You have plenty of potential, Mr. Min-young. It's not just about infiltrating. You need to earn their trust. To gather information from inside the casino, you have to be on the inside rather than hovering around the outside. That's the most reliable method."
Min-young let out a deep sigh. He had worked harder than anyone to become a police officer, yet he had never imagined his own appearance would be used this way. Still, he had no other choice. He had to find his sister. And if this was the only way, he would have to endure it.
"…Understood. But I have one condition. I refuse anything too revealing."
Ji-soo chuckled softly.
"Don't worry. Dealers don't wear the same revealing outfits as the bunny girls. Most of them dress in neat office-style attire. Blouses with vests and skirts that reach the knees. It won't be uncomfortable. Once you try it on, you'll find it's more ordinary than you think."
She paused for a moment before adding, "Anyway, from now on you'll need training as a female dealer. Simply wearing the clothes won't be enough. You have to move naturally inside the casino and look like a professional dealer."
And so Min-young's grueling training began. The first thing he had to master was card handling. To work as a dealer in a casino, fast and precise shuffling and dealing were essential. At first the cards slipped from his hands and refused to spread cleanly in the direction he wanted. But after practicing for hours every day, by the end of a month he could move his hands with skill. He learned the riffle shuffle, fanning cards smoothly from his fingertips, and the pitching technique of dealing cards one by one accurately in front of customers.
Yet that wasn't all a dealer needed. Ji-soo told him that appearance mattered just as much as technique. Since dealers interacted directly with guests, they had to pay careful attention to posture and gait as well.
"Do you know how people see dealers? They're not just game facilitators. They need a sophisticated image."
With those words, Min-young had to begin another round of training. First came Brazilian waxing. Ji-soo explained that female dealers inside the casino maintained smooth skin as a basic standard. Though he felt reluctant at first, it was a necessary step for his disguise. After waxing every two weeks, his skin grew softer, and he could feel his body becoming more feminine.
Next came high-heel walking practice. Since he would be cross-dressing, he had to walk naturally. At first his balance was so unstable that his legs ached after just a few steps and his ankles threatened to twist. But with daily practice he gradually grew accustomed to it, and after about a month he could move relatively naturally even in heels.
Finally, he also did exercises to widen his hips. Ji-soo recommended yoga and Pilates, saying, "To keep your gait from giving you away, you need to soften your hip and waist lines." Though Min-young found the exercises extremely uncomfortable at first, he eventually accepted them, knowing the operation would only succeed if he shaped his body properly.
In the beginning everything felt repulsive. He even wondered if this was really what he had to do as a police officer. But to find his sister, every step of this process was necessary. After a month had passed, Min-young had become a completely different person. His hands handling cards were now smooth, and the reflection in the mirror was no longer the police officer Kim Min-young he had known. He had the appearance of someone more feminine than most women, an elegant gait, and the skilled dealing technique of a casino dealer. Now he was ready to infiltrate the casino.
Fortunately, several police officers had already been planted inside the casino. Thanks to them, getting Min-young into the casino proved easier than expected. The documents for his undercover employment had already been prepared, and through Ji-soo's connections the internal identity verification process moved quickly. Moreover, the casino, which was short on dealer staff, welcomed him. When he demonstrated the dealer skills he had practiced during the interview, the staff nodded with satisfied expressions at his hand movements and card control.
"Your hands are pretty fast. Where did you learn?"
The interviewer asked with interest, but Min-young smiled and answered as he had been coached.
"I've always liked card games. I practiced on my own so much that it came naturally."
The interviewers didn't suspect anything.
"Good. You can start right away. We've been busy with so many customers lately. Your first shift is tonight. You can handle that, right?"
And just like that, Min-young was hired as a casino dealer in one go. During his first month after joining, Min-young focused solely on his dealer duties to blend into the casino. He needed to be recognized as a skilled dealer while remaining as inconspicuous as possible. Any mistake that drew attention could ruin the entire operation. Yet an unexpected problem arose. First of all, having to stay cross-dressed all day was far more uncomfortable than he had imagined. At first, simply wearing women's clothes felt awkward, and managing long hair naturally wasn't easy either. The form-fitting blouses and skirts made him self-conscious with every small movement, and standing for long hours in heels was quite tiring.
A bigger issue was the atmosphere inside the casino. Especially the presence of the bunny girls, who walked around in black suits that accentuated their smooth figures. Their role was to serve drinks to customers or entertain VIP guests, and simply watching them walk drew everyone's eyes. Dressed in high-leg black bunny costumes that left their buttocks completely exposed, calling it clothing felt almost embarrassing. Min-young found his gaze drifting toward them without realizing it, and every time his body reacted. Those bunny girls who smiled and served guests in such provocative outfits seemed impressive. He shook his head and forced his attention back to the cards. Steadying his mind, Min-young began to observe the flow of the casino.
