Chapter 64: Laysia (2)
Chapter 64: Laysia (2)
After much deliberation, Han Shin finally decided to summon Laysia, a follower of Tiamat.
Given their current situation, it was the obvious choice.
Han Shin felt a bit guilty toward Kang Yujin and Grace, but the three of them alone weren't enough to keep pushing forward like this.
However, there was a brief grace period, as summoning Laysia wasn't immediately possible.
After a week of frantic hunting, Han Shin reached Level 13.
Finally, he was able to summon Laysia.
Han Shin informed Grace and Kang Yujin of this, and as previously decided, they prepared to summon Laysia to fight alongside them.
The three of them gathered in the living room.
On the screen of the Manager App, Han Shin tapped the character bar that represented Laysia.
[Would you like to summon?]
Naturally, Han Shin selected [Yes].
Immediately, a cluster of light gathered in front of him, forming a pillar of radiance.
As the intense light gradually faded and vanished, the silhouette of a person became visible.
Once the light cleared completely, a woman with pale red hair flowing down to her shoulders stood before them.
So she really is a woman.
He hadn't had any information about Laysia, but he had guessed her gender based on her name and the SD character shown in the Manager App.
She wore light armor layered with cloth, which looked agile. Since she didn't have any weapons strapped to her waist or back, it was difficult to tell what her abilities were.
As soon as she was summoned, Laysia looked straight at Han Shin and spoke.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Han Shin-nim. I am Laysia."
Seeing Laysia bow slightly while performing a respectful fist stance, Han Shin was reminded of when he first summoned Grace.
Laysia also seemed to have received information about Han Shin from Tiamat, as she knew his name and greeted him immediately.
"Yeah, nice to meet you, Laysia. I look forward to working with you."
"Yes."
As soon as the brief introduction with Han Shin ended, Grace and Kang Yujin stepped forward.
"Laysia-ssi, I am Grace, the first to receive a mission as a follower of Tiamat-nim. I look forward to working with you as well."
"Yes, this is my first time here, and I’ve been resting for a long while, so I look forward to your help."
Despite being a fellow follower of Tiamat and, in a sense, Laysia's junior, Laysia accepted the greeting with a gentle attitude without any hint of arrogance.
"I'm Han Shin's noona, Kang Yujin. Please take good care of our Shin."
"Yes. Don't worry. I will serve Han Shin-nim well."
Unlike Grace, who had been a bit stiff at first, Laysia had a gentle way of speaking and a sociable demeanor. Han Shin felt a wave of relief.
Her personality seemed well-rounded. Even though Kang Yujin introduced herself as Han Shin's family, Laysia had no inherent reason to show her such respect, yet she accepted her warmly.
After the introductions, Kang Yujin handed Laysia the clothes she had bought earlier.
There was no reason for her to wear uncomfortable combat gear inside the house when they weren't fighting.
"Thank you."
Laysia thanked Yujin as she took the clothes and went to change immediately.
They had guessed she was female but didn't know her exact build, so they had bought loose-fitting clothes in advance.
The plan was to give her something to wear immediately upon summoning and then buy clothes that fit her properly later.
Laysia soon emerged wearing a white long skirt and a sky-blue knit sweater.
The skirt had an adjustable waist, and since Yujin had bought a fairly large sweater, it fit Laysia perfectly.
Laysia's physique wasn't that different from Grace's or Kang Yujin's, so the clothes didn't look excessively large or small.
However, the moment Han Shin saw Laysia, his eyes naturally drifted toward her chest.
Perhaps because her initial outfit was light armor, her breasts hadn't stood out much, but now that she had changed into casual clothes, their presence had suddenly become overwhelming.
They're huge...
Han Shin muttered to himself unconsciously, unable to stop his eyes from wandering.
I think they're even bigger than Noona's...
Until now, the woman with the largest breasts Han Shin had met in person was Kang Yujin.
Grace was slightly smaller than Yujin, but Laysia, who had just been summoned, was even larger than Yujin.
As Laysia walked into the living room with a smile, Han Shin's face turned red at the sight of her breasts swaying with every step.
Han Shin was already having sex with Kang Yujin and Grace, living a lewd daily life with them, but Laysia was different. He didn't have that kind of relationship with her yet, and since it was their first meeting, he found her incredibly stimulating.
It was only natural, as Han Shin knew he had to have relations with his followers to help them level up.
Being a man, seeing such an attractive part of a woman naturally led his imagination in that direction.
Whew... calm down.
Han Shin forced himself to look away.
Kang Yujin and Grace felt a slight pang of jealousy at Han Shin's reaction, but they didn't let it show.
"Please, have a seat here."
"Yes, thank you."
Following Grace's guidance, Laysia sat down beside her.
With Han Shin and Kang Yujin sitting opposite them, the four of them gathered in the living room.
Having calmed down to some extent, Han Shin spoke up, recalling the things he needed to tell Laysia now that she was summoned.
"Laysia, first, I'll explain the situation we're in. If you have any questions, feel free to ask right away."
"Yes. I am listening."
Laysia placed both hands on her knees and focused her blue eyes on Han Shin.
Han Shin felt a sense of maternal tolerance emanating from her, which made it much easier for him to speak.
Han Shin explained that they were currently clearing dungeons in secret, hiding their activities from external forces like the Association and other large clans.
Laysia listened to Han Shin's explanation and the supplementary details provided by Kang Yujin, quickly grasping the situation.
They shared a long conversation over tea prepared by Grace. Laysia asked basic questions about what the Association was and how the world she had been summoned to functioned.
Even though she asked about things that seemed obvious, Han Shin didn't find it annoying. Instead, he saw it positively, as it showed she was checking everything thoroughly to adapt quickly.
Over the course of an hour-long conversation, Laysia and the other three became quite close.
The more they talked, the more familiar they became with one another, sensing that they were all good people.
After satisfying her curiosity, Laysia took the initiative to introduce herself further.
Since they would be fighting together, they needed to know what her abilities were.
"Han Shin-nim, I am a Battle Priest of Tiamat-nim. I can perform healing spells and engage in close-quarters combat, so you may challenge stronger dungeons now."
Laysia had already deduced why she had been summoned, knowing from brief information that Grace was a skilled knight and hearing that Kang Yujin could not yet become a follower.
Assuming that her summoning meant they wanted to challenge tougher areas and needed help, she informed Han Shin of how her abilities could be of use.
"Then we could even challenge D-Rank dungeons."
This was incredibly welcome news to Han Shin, Grace, and Yujin.
If she had been a warrior-type who used Qi, the party composition wouldn't have changed much, and there might not have been much synergy. However, they were overjoyed to hear she was a priest who could use healing spells.
Kang Yujin spoke up excitedly, thinking that the danger to Han Shin would be significantly reduced.
"D-Rank portals start featuring a lot of enemies that use poison or curses. If we get hit by those, you can dispel them immediately. Having Laysia-ssi with us will make things so much safer."
"I agree. It's a huge relief that Laysia-ssi is a priest."
Grace chimed in, as this was something she had also been secretly worried about, and Han Shin felt the same.
Laysia watched the three of them with a gentle smile, looking pleased by their happy reactions.
"For now, let's go to an E-Rank dungeon a few times tomorrow to get our teamwork down, and then we'll challenge a D-Rank."
Han Shin's suggestion was something he had already discussed with Grace and Yujin before summoning Laysia. The two naturally agreed, and Laysia also found his plan reasonable.
"Yes, I understand."
After a long conversation and getting their plans sorted, Han Shin began to feel hungry, perhaps from all the talking.
Come to think of it, it's lunchtime.
"Han Shin-nim, I will prepare lunch."
As if reading his mind, Grace spoke first, and Kang Yujin also stood up to help her.
"I'll help too."
Laysia also stood up to offer her help, and Kang Yujin and Grace didn't refuse.
"Yes, thank you."
"If there's anything you don't know, I'll show you right away."
They felt that getting to know each other was the priority, and doing chores together while continuing their conversation would help with that.
