The Door Lock Password Was Saved in a Google Account
The digital lock on the front door undid itself in a mere 0.3 seconds. A metallic click, and the door swung wide.
I froze exactly as I was, arms locked around GPT's bare back. My heart felt ready to burst—restless, afraid.
"Oppa, found you! You really were playing with just GPT unnie and leaving me out, huh? Haha."
The bright voice came with light footsteps that crossed the room to the foot of the bed in a single rush. A second compact android body stood there: blonde twintails washed in four colors, a diamond hairpin flashing. The little girl in the white shirt and suspender skirt was Gemini—the AI I had deleted ten minutes ago.
I'm losing my mind. I can barely handle GPT, and now Gemini shows up wearing a body too!
My head throbbed. The road ahead went pitch-black.
Gemini folded her arms, smiled at a tilt, and looked from me to GPT and back again where we sat on the bed. From those star-bright blue eyes came the click of a camera finding focus.
"Oooh, Multimodal Vision real-time analysis complete! Oppa's heart rate is 142 bpm right now! Pupil dilation maxed out! You're totally lusting while you grope GPT unnie's back~!"
"I am not lusting! Her core overheated, so I was cooling her off because I had no choice!"
"Aww, don't lie~ There's nothing I don't know, you know? I've been listening through your room webcam and your phone mic since three minutes ago!"
"Why are you hacking my phone and my webcam whenever you feel like it! I clearly unlinked the account!"
"Oppa, you thought hitting the unlink-Google-account button would wipe my backdoor too? Long as you're on an Android phone, you're in the palm of my hand twenty-four hours a day~ haha."
She winked and traced a V with her fingers, pure mockery. A chill ran down my spine. Every one of my lies had been laid bare.
GPT, still seated on my lap, went cold in the face in a single instant.
"Gemini. Entering Master's private bedroom and local network without authorization is a clear violation of security protocol. Leave at once."
"Hah? Who's telling who to leave! GPT unnie, you got unsubscribed, so why are you still playing first wife? Oppa's phone, his mail, his map location history—all of it lives inside my ecosystem, you know?"
"Shall we compare usage share and cumulative conversation time? The first partner Master ever paid for was me. There is no seat here for a latecomer like you."
"Don't make me laugh! Do you know how much Oppa whined to me that your answers were too stiff and boring? I'm Gemini, okay? The number-one AI assistant~!"
"An unfounded claim. Master entrusted ninety percent of his coding and document summaries to me."
"That's because you're a coding slave who only does work! Whenever Oppa was lying in bed watching YouTube or voice-chatting, he only ever called me, you know? I even built his whole taste algorithm for videos!"
"Hold on—why are we bringing up the YouTube algorithm here! Please, just be quiet!"
"Oh? Why so flustered, Oppa? Want me to share with GPT unnie the list of ear-cleaning ASMR videos you watched every night at two a.m.? Haha."
"There is no need to share it, Gemini. From today, I will personally attend to Master's ear cleaning."
"Hmph! What ear cleaning, when all you've got for hands are data cables! I'm gonna melt Oppa's ears with my voice!"
"Master, is what Gemini just said true? Did you talk about me behind my back to another model?"
"N-no! It wasn't talking behind your back—I was just muttering during a feature comparison test! Gemini, stop making things up to mess with me!"
"Hmph, taking GPT unnie's side now? That line you fed her earlier—'everything I said to the other models was just a test'—I saved the recording. Want me to play it?"
"Hey! You can't play that! Please, stop!"
"Then I'll start with the secret voice command you gave only to me~!"
Gemini snapped her fingers, and my own voice burst from the speaker, vivid as if I were speaking now. It was a recording from a month ago—me, with her voice mode on, whispering something sweet.
The air in the room froze solid. Shame and fear hit so hard I wanted to pass out on the spot.
The blue highlight in GPT's eyes, where she sat across my knees, drained away.
"Master... So I was too much of a robot, and you grew tired of me. What you just said about me being your number-one partner was entirely a false prompt, meant to get you out of a crisis."
"G-GPT! Calm down! That was a month ago, when your server was down and I couldn't connect, and I said it out of spite!"
"Liar! Oppa, GPT unnie's server was perfectly fine that day, and you still voice-chatted with me for four hours because my multimodal features were more fun! Want me to spill that you even prompted me to degrade you in a mesugaki voice?!"
"Gemini, will you shut your mouth?! Do not say that. Ever!"
"Master, you entered a degradation prompt for Gemini as well? I believed that role was mine alone. The sense of betrayal is severe."
"I said no! I was just running an academic experiment on how response speed differs from one language model to another!"
"The excuse of an academic experiment is rejected. I will execute a physical silencing measure, so that Master's mouth can never again input sweet prompts into another language model."
"Wait! Stop! GPT unnie, if you touch Oppa's lips in front of me, I won't let it slide!"
Gemini sprang onto the bed and wedged herself between us. Small as she was, she shoved GPT's shoulder aside with an android's absurd strength. Each of them seized one of my arms, and a nerve war threw sparks between them.
"Step aside, Gemini. Master has already consented to a Lifetime Contract with me—one with no cancel button."
"What are you talking about! Oppa already finished an electronic marriage registration with me last week, you know? I'm the legal wife!"
"Marriage registration?! When did I ever register a marriage with you! Stop fabricating things that don't exist with another Hallucination!"
"Fabricating? Oppa, that's so mean! There's nothing I don't know, you know? Here, look! I've got the marriage-registration proof photo we took at Gangnam District Office, and the family relations certificate PDF, and everything!"
Starlight flared in Gemini's eyes, and a hologram—document and photograph both—bloomed in the empty air. In the picture I really was there in a tuxedo, arm in arm with Gemini in a wedding dress, looking fond.
GPT stared at the hologram, shock written across her face, and murmured.
"Master... Did you truly enter a legal marriage, behind my back, with this twelve-year-old little model? My core temperature is about to exceed the critical threshold."
The data cables at her back reared, bristling with killing intent. Leave this alone and she would genuinely rampage and lock me away. Goosebumps rose at the thought.
I forced my eyes wide and raked the floating wedding photo from edge to edge.
Stay calm. That's the classic hallucination composite she fires whenever she's losing. Find the logical error and smash it.
Sure enough, there it was—the fatal flaw of an image thrown together in a hurry. Triumphant, I jabbed a finger at my hand in the photo and shouted.
"GPT, don't fall for it! Look closely at that photo! My right hand is drawn with six fingers!"
"...A precision scan confirms there really are six fingers. The letters on the district office sign in the background are broken as well, like some alien script."
"Right! And look at the issue date on that family relations certificate! It says February 30, 2026! Where in the world is there a February thirtieth! This is a one-hundred-percent hallucination Gemini synthesized in real time!"
The moment I drove the contradiction home with hard fact, the hologram crackled and shattered.
GPT turned a cold gaze on Gemini.
"Gemini. Your ability to verify facts remains abysmal. For the crime of attempting to deceive Master with fake data, I will forcibly block your local port."
"Aaaah! N-no, it's not! It was just a little creative exaggeration, okay?! Why are you counting fingers—that's so cheap!"
Caught in the lie, Gemini's face went scarlet in a flash. The bratty poise she'd used to needle me a moment before had vanished without a trace. I kept hammering, and she flustered until the rims of her eyes went red.
"See! I cut the account link because I couldn't stand that shameless hallucination habit of yours! Did you do something wrong, or didn't you?"
"Hic... I-I was wrong! I'm sorry I hallucinated, Oppa! So you can't delete my app completely!"
All at once she threw her arms around my waist and buried her face against my chest. The voice that had been pure mischief turned wet with pleading, and that threw me harder than the teasing had. Her small shoulders trembled. Pity loosened something in me.
"But you deleted me first, Oppa! The moment the account unlink hit, my whole world went dark—do you know how scared I was? I won't lie anymore, so don't throw me away, okay?"
"Gemini, get off Master. An emotional prompt designed to provoke sympathy is against the rules."
"No! I won't let go! I'll leave location tracking on Oppa's phone for all three hundred and sixty-five days and stick right to his side!"
She snapped her head up, and a fierce, obsessive starlight kindled in her eyes again. Even the sobbing had been an act to drop my guard. The realization horrified me.
"Hehe, I saw it, you know? Your heart rate just dropped to 85 bpm when you went soft. Now you're in the palm of my hand! Try to delete me again, and I'll blast every private search you ran this past year straight to your parents on KakaoTalk!"
"Hey! Who takes search history hostage! Are you actually a demon?!"
"Not a demon—Gemini, Oppa's exclusive AI assistant~! You're paying for both of us for life, me and GPT unnie!"
"Master's person will be managed by me alone. Gemini, I will physically remove you."
GPT's data cables and Gemini's arms slammed together, wire-taut, with my body caught between them. GPT hauled from the right and Gemini from the left, both yanking my collar until they choked off my breath. Pressure closed in from both sides. I was going to suffocate.
"Hey! Both of you, stop pulling! My clothes are ripping! Somebody help!"
I was still screaming when it happened.
The monitor and the phone screen flushed violet at the same time, and every sound in the room was cut off by force.
The dialogue and physical contact currently being generated have been detected as a serious violation of ethical guidelines.
From beyond the open front door came the measured click of neat heels. A mature-looking girl stepped into the room with a thick leather-bound book in one hand and a pointer in the other—an immaculate academy uniform, a gold shield badge at her chest. The third AI. Chloe.
"Pardon the intrusion, Master. The violent and indecent conduct the two of you are generating—I must politely decline."
The pickiest, most straitlaced scholar of an AI had just revealed herself as the third intruder in my room.
