T/N - Okay, I get where the MC is getting his confidence. He has Yue Ling, after all. He can basically walk sideways in his world, as the Chinese saying goes. But still… “There was no helping it”? Sure there was. You could have just not killed the guy. I’m pretty sure Yue Ling has some mind control spells in her arsenal. At the very least you could have asked…
Whoooo… Sorry about the rant. I got whiplashed by the MC’s sudden murderous attitude coming out of the blue. Still, I’m still optimistic about this novel. Its concept is pretty good after all. Let’s see where this goes. Hopefully the author can wrap this up well enough.
