The Treasure Dungeon Closes
Sung Min-woo's gaze locked onto Mu-hyuk.
"Hey, hey. This......"
"I know."
"Whoa. Honestly, it's a shame, isn't it? Has your class already spread everywhere?"
"Yeah."
"Where'd it leak from? There wasn't any info like that this morning."
Just then, Yura approached.
"Wait, hold on a sec."
"Huh?"
"Did you just say Mu-hyuk-ssi’s class?"
"Oh, that......"
The information was already out there.
No point hiding it anymore.
"Actually, I'm the first user to job change into Gangster Necromancer."
"Whoa, really?"
"Yeah, really."
In truth, anyone could tell at a glance that Mu-hyuk wasn't your average necromancer. That's why she'd been curious about his class but hadn't asked.
After all, another player's class was a pretty sensitive topic among Illusion users.
With all the hidden class content, plenty of players didn't want to reveal theirs.
Of course, Gangster Necromancer could pretty much be considered an open class now.
"Is it good? That class?"
"If you put in the time, it's plenty good."
It was the most obvious statement.
But that's exactly why Yura nodded in agreement.
Every class was like that.
Put in the time, put in the effort, and any class could become special.
That was Illusion.
"So it was a hidden class."
"Surprised?"
"I had a hunch......"
Right then, a commotion broke out up ahead.
"Whoa, over there!"
"Damn, it's really vanishing completely."
The users witnessing a dungeon disappear for the first time were making a huge racket.
Soon enough, a new dungeon spawned.
"Alright, let's go, hurry up!"
With someone's shout, the line shrank fast. Before long, Mu-hyuk and his group made it inside.
"Hmmm."
Asrahan, who'd been watching the whole time, turned away.
Not now.
He'd just watched Rudolph and the guild members die pointlessly. If he approached and said something now, he'd probably end up dying just as stupidly.
Fighting that guy would be a blast, sure—but he couldn't just throw his life away.
"No helping it."
The hidden class he'd put off job-changing into because it didn't feel right.
It was time to claim it.
*
After entering the dungeon, they logged out with plans to meet tomorrow.
Hiss.
Mu-hyuk rose from the open capsule, stomach churning a bit as he sat at the desk with his laptop. He was dying to know what info had leaked about Gangster Necromancer.
He moved the mouse to the free board, where posts were piling up fast.
[Title: Treasure Dungeon, Already......]
Treasure Dungeon talk was still everywhere.
But sprinkled among them were new keywords.
[Title: Hidden class revealed.]
"Hidden class" was popping up all over. He clicked one, but it was just the usual speculation. The others were the same.
After checking over ten more posts.
Finally, he found a solid one.
The meaty content had drawn a ton of comments.
He checked another post.
Nothing more on the free board.
Switching to the info board, a real-time best post on Gangster Necromancer caught his eye.
Mu-hyuk clicked and let out an exclamation.
"Whoa."
It mentioned Valsian.
The description painted the picture perfectly.
Valsian bellowing.
His curt, biting tone.
Mu-hyuk couldn't help chuckling.
He'd have to swing by once.
Level 150 for the new skill, but he'd visit before then.
He sketched a quick schedule in his head, then browsed the homepage a bit more.
With nothing left to check, he headed to the paid board. He uploaded his monster strategies, then shut the laptop.
"Alright."
He stood, headed to the shower.
Cleaned up, hit the bed.
Less than a minute later, Mu-hyuk was snoring.
*
Valsian nodded solemnly.
"Good. Spread the name of us Gangster Necromancers far and wide."
"Yes, sir!"
The moment the user left, his stern face cracked into a mischievous grin. No room for loneliness or melancholy these days—and it made him truly happy.
"Heh."
Gangster Necromancer was a class earned through chains of fate.
Fate with necromancers, with the library curator, with hidden info, with Valsian himself—and passing the trials.
Those fates weren't forged easily. Yet lately, people kept connecting them, and it filled him with joy.
"Heh heh."
Then, another knock.
Knock knock.
He straightened up, deepened his voice.
"Ahem. Come in."
How many fates would connect today?
Just thinking about it satisfied him.

The final dungeon.
This time, four days passed with no treasure found.
"Kinda slow, huh?"
"Maybe they're thinking like you."
Mu-hyuk already knew the spots for all three treasures.
But grabbing one reset the dungeon in 48 hours, so he was holding off to drag it out.
Maybe others were doing the same.
"Whatever."
He wouldn't touch them until someone else did. Last one—maximize the haul.
"Why drag it out this time?"
"Red Tower ends when you clear it, right?"
"Yeah."
"What if Treasure Dungeon has no end?"
"Hmmm, dunno."
"I think it's wrapping up soon."
Everyone focused on Mu-hyuk's words, but most weren't convinced.
Really end?
After all those resets?
"Could keep going forever."
"Nah, item options are too good."
"Can't farm gear from mobs, so a dungeon like this makes sense."
Mu-hyuk knew, so he was certain. The others? Not so much.
Trying to convince them was the wrong approach. The moment he realized that, a smile tugged at his lips.
"You're right."
"See?"
"Hey, I don't know for sure either. Let's just hunt treasure hard."
"OK!"
Back to searching.
About three hours later.
The message he'd been waiting for popped up.
1 treasure has been discovered.
Time remaining: 47 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.
The message was different.
Time remaining.
No "until reset" prefix this time.
That's how it notifies.
No one else seemed to notice.
Mu-hyuk decided not to mention it.
"Finally found one."
"Yeah, shall we head there?"
Mu-hyuk glanced at Yura and PD Kim Min-ho; they got it instantly.
They veered toward the three known treasures. Soon arrived, snagged the first.
2 treasures have been discovered.
Time remaining: 47 hours, 7 minutes, 11 seconds.
Then the third, fourth.
"Ooh, that sword looks pretty dope."
"This one?"
Mu-hyuk checked the sword's options first. Solid, but paled next to the others.
"Meh."
He passed it to Sung Min-woo.
The guy checked too.
"Yeah, kinda."
The plain scabbard was more intriguing, though.
A treasure that's a scabbard?
Curiosity piqued.
◈ The dwarven smith race obsessed not just over forging great swords, but sheathing them properly too. People ignored the scabbards, so they ended up buried in some dwarf village.
◈ One day, a traveler unearthed a hidden one: the Scabbard of Endless Tempering.
◈ Special Option 1: Form Shift
◈ Special Option 2: Attack Power Boost
Form Shift
Shifts form based on the sword.
Attack Power Boost
Storing sword in scabbard boosts attack power by 0.1% per minute, up to 5% max. Effect lasts 10 minutes after drawing.
Game-changer.
A must-have.
He drew Kurkan's greatsword and sheathed it in the Scabbard of Endless Tempering.
Inventory sorted.
"Let's find more."
"OK!"
Time ticking down.
Mu-hyuk pushed PD Kim Min-ho and the crew harder than usual, minimizing breaks.
Thanks to that, with an hour left, they nabbed another.
"This time, check till reset."
"Not lining up outside?"
"It's fine, right?"
He eyed Sung Min-woo.
"If you want."
Sung Min-woo always followed Mu-hyuk's lead—no issue.
With those two on board, the rest just nodded.
And their effort paid off: one more treasure.
The dungeon reset, kicking them out.
"Whew, outside."
"Yeah."
"Now line up again......"
Something felt off.
"......"
No matter how long they waited, no new dungeon appeared.
