Chapter Title: Floor 2: The Secret Room Formula
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Sizzle-!
A sharp, agonized death cry from an animal.
The massive Giant Rat, which had roamed the sewers freely, was gently engulfed by the wriggling, amorphous slime mass and suffocated to death within the mindless blob.
⚙ SYSTEM NOTIFICATION ⚙ [You defeated the Giant Rat.] [You have grown.] "Oh... It's got pretty good performance, better than I thought."
Wriggle, wriggle.
I'd tested the onahole's performance by pitting it against two Giant Rats, and the results were better than expected.
Normally, summons from a summoning wand come out in a degraded state compared to the originals, but the Blue Slime Blob summoned via the onahole had no trouble taking down two Giant Rats, suggesting no drop in specs.
Plus, I could see that some of the experience from enemies killed by the onahole was flowing to me, its owner.
"That's a bit unexpected."
The summoner build, dubbed the Animal Farm meta, was a character that actively used summons via items like wands or scrolls in combat.
But there was a reason summoners were called entertainers.
Summon item drop rates were an issue, but the bigger problem was that if the summon finished off the enemy, you got no experience.
People had even done level 1 clears exploiting that, but in a situation like this, it wasn't much of a plus.
"So if I just park a summon up front, give it a solid tanky setup, and hide, isn't that free wins?"
⚔ STATUS ⚔ aaaa's Onahole: Blue Slime Blob Lv: 05 [Status: Bound] Health: 13/21 ■■■■■■□□□□ Fuel: 4/10 ■■■■□□□□□□ 【A loyal slime onahole that obeys its master's commands, powered by the magic of semen. Use it often, and you might grow closer.】 "The Fuel gauge drops pretty fast... So it despawns when it hits zero?"
I'd had the Blue Slime Blob out for about 6 turns in D.D terms, so Fuel seemed to represent the number of turns it could stay summoned.
Normal summons lasted indefinitely until they died once deployed, so pros and cons there.
"Not quite enough sustain to make it my main."
Wriggle, wriggle.
A normal melee character would take about 10 turns to clear a room with three enemies, so it was pretty iffy.
And the resource to refill Fuel being semen was awkward, too.
I couldn't just jerk off on the spot every time combat ended to top it up.
"Do you have any idea how many times you've drained me? Tens of billions of sperm have died already, you little shit!"
Smack!
But this greedy creature, despite being milked all night, couldn't last beyond its limit and passed out after 10 turns like a premature ejaculator.
I smacked it and shoved it back into onahole form into my bag.
"For today, goal is to fully explore Floor 1. Find some wearable gear..."
All I had on were ragged pants.
These would rip soon, too, leaving me buck naked.
'Please, pants. Drop some pants.'
◇◇◇◆◇◇◇ A staircase made of damp bricks matching the surrounding sewers leading down.
⚙ SYSTEM NOTIFICATION ⚙ [You have learned the layout of the current floor.] After wandering around for about half a day, the map of Floor 1, full of dark spots, was completely filled in.
The organic layout of sewers branching in seven directions from a central cavern was so ridiculous it nearly made me curse whoever designed it.
Procedural generation or not, this was overkill.
I found the stairs right at the very end.
"They really make you loop around Floor 1 like crazy... Still, not a bad haul."
⚔ STATUS ⚔ Name: aaaa Level: 03 Health: 56/56 ■■■■■■■■■■ Magic: 32/32 ■■■■■■■■■■ Hunger: 57/100 ■■■■■■□□□□ Thirst: 71/100 ■■■■■■■□□□ Temperature: ◀■■■■■■□□□□▷ Strength 10(0) | Agility 11(0) | Constitution 08(0) Mind 08(0) | Sense 09(0) | Charm 12(0) Distributable Points: 2 GOLD: 308 Exploring Floor 1 and taking down enemies had made hunting feel somewhat familiar, and my level had reached 3.
Plus, I'd picked up some decent items, so I'd grabbed everything worth getting on Floor 1.
I patted the brown leather armor and slightly worn leather pants—worlds apart from my rags—and felt a swell of pride.
No weapon, but with the slime, I could handle Criminals with ease.
"Time to head to Floor 2... But first, distribute points."
D.D gave points to raise stats each level up. Max per stat was 25.
You could exceed that with items, of course, but without proper gear, it was meaningless right now.
"Boost Constitution to patch up HP? Or just pump Strength to bulldoze the early game."
Actually investing the points brought hesitation.
Summoner wand builds used Charm, but I wasn't sure if onahole summons were affected by it, so caution was needed.
Charm had fewer uses than other stats anyway, lowering its value.
"Raising Mind for repeated Onahole Creations feels wasteful... It's magic with a failure chance."
Mind wasn't immediately useful either, narrowing candidates to Strength, Agility, Constitution.
All physical stats.
Strength for damage and capacity, Agility for clutch plays in crises, Constitution for stable survival.
"Yeah, this one."
I made my choice and manipulated the glowing status window before me.
Floor 1 was tutorial-tier.
Giant Rats, Sewer Spiders, occasional Blue Slime Blobs—low-threat foes.
A considerate placement for fragile player characters compared to later floors.
True start of D.D was Floor 2, not an exaggeration.
No major visual changes beyond damp mossy bricks and tall undergrowth.
⚔ STATUS ⚔ 『Plague Rat』 Lv: 05 Health: 35/35 ■■■■■■■■■■ 【A massive rat visibly carrying a deadly plague. Unquestionably one of the disasters that brings countless deaths.】 ⚙ SYSTEM NOTIFICATION ⚙ [You have learned about the Plague Rat.] Because this was the floor where diseases and various status ailments started getting used aggressively.
◇◇◇◆◇◇◇ Splash—splash—
Shaking off the ankle-grabbing green sewer water, I pressed on through the brick tunnel stacked with mechanical precision, seamless.
Mold and water stains clung thick to the walls, forming creepy patterns.
After trudging this stamina-draining path, a fork appeared. No—one path was blocked.
"Oh, secret room."
Procedural generation created random maps for fresh experiences each time, but there were formulas to predict terrain features.
And caverns dead-ending right at a fork were high odds for a hidden secret room entrance.
Of course, no clue which side, so check them all—no big deal.
"Cheap kick!"
Just kick it.
Rumble!
A front kick to the brick wall, and it collapsed with a huge crash, revealing the empty space beyond.
⚙ SYSTEM NOTIFICATION ⚙ [You have learned about the secret room.] [The Ghost Spider has spotted you.] [You have been ambushed by the Ghost Spider!] Kieeeek-!
"Kiiiiieeeeeeeek!!! It's a Ghost Spiiiider!!!"
Through the crumbling bricks charged a massive spider with a ghostly white body draped in mourning clothes.
Time stretched. Staring down the lunging horror with its many legs, I twisted my waist and barely dodged just before it hit.
Effect of my Agility, now 13 after points.
My suddenly twisted waist throbbed, but no time to stop—I whipped my dagger across fast.
Splat—one of its legs severed.
💥 COMBAT ALERT! 💥 [Ghost Spider took 12 damage]
Kiiiii...
"Urgh... Fuck, those insect exhibit bastards didn't model this—they made it disgustingly real..."
The Ghost Spider lost one leg but reared up angrily on two others, threatening me.
It'd looked like a few lazy dots before, but now in 4K with every hair visible, facing it was pure torment.
Good thing I'd built tolerance fighting Sewer Spiders on Floor 1.
Otherwise, I'd have fled, gotten caught, drained dry, and mummified!
'THX Sewer Spiders...! I won't forget your sacrifice!'
⚔ STATUS ⚔ 『Ghost Spider』 Lv: 05 Health: 25/37 ■■■■■■■□□□ 【A rare spider with a pure white body. Called Ghost Spider for lunging at unwary prey like a ghost.】 Two dagger slashes would kill it HP-wise, but uncertainty lingered.
Sturdy leather armor meant a hit or two wouldn't kill me, so I sheathed the dagger, grabbed my club, aiming for a sure two-shot kill.
We eyed each other, timing it up.
Its creepy eyes locked on me gave chills, but I bit my lip and endured.
Ghost Spider moved first.
It kicked off the pooled sewer water and leaped again.
I dodged again? Nice, but luck doesn't strike twice—I got smashed by its charge and flung back.
"Gah!"
💥 COMBAT ALERT! 💥 [You took 10 damage]
[Ghost Spider took 14 damage]
But I didn't just take it. Player single-target specs were far superior anyway.
Club smacked right into its flying body!
Thwack!
Splat—splash!
Kieeeek!
"Pfft! Pffft!"
We both face-planted into the filthy water, but I scrambled up and wildly swung the club even through my blurry vision.
Whoosh! Thwack-!
💥 COMBAT ALERT! 💥 [Ghost Spider took 13 damage]
⚙ SYSTEM NOTIFICATION ⚙ [You defeated the Ghost Spider.] Lucky hit. That finished the Ghost Spider.
"Ptui! Guweh! Fuck—tastes like spicy noodles dumped in food waste. Shit."
I spat out the unintended water from nose and mouth, sighing in relief.
Secret room guardian down—now to loot something good inside.
Never mind the lingering gross taste in my mouth.
