What Did I Do Wrong?
“Mi-Minhi…”
“Just a little longer.”
“Minhi.”
“Really, just a little more…”
Was she seriously not planning to let me into the house?
I had been standing in front of the entrance for what felt like forever, locked tight in Minhi’s arms, unable to move an inch.
“That’s enough now, Yoo Minhi.”
“Just a little… five minutes. Exactly five more minutes like this…”
“I’m tired, Minhi.”
I had dragged my exhausted body all the way here, and now supporting Minhi’s weight as she kept leaning into me was becoming too much. On top of that, the constant press of her chest against me was getting dangerous…
I lightly gripped her shoulders and pushed her back.
“Ah… just a little…”
She sounded almost disappointed as she tried to cling to me again. I blocked her.
“Minhi, stop. You’ve had enough.”
“It’s not enough…”
“Still no. You’re a full-grown adult. Why are you acting like this?”
The thought of two fully grown adults—siblings, no less—standing in the entrance wrapped around each other made me anxious about what the neighbors would say if they saw.
“…”
Minhi just kept staring at me without blinking. I stepped past her and went inside; she followed right behind me.
“Mom, Dad, I’m home~”
I called out as I entered, but no answer came. They weren’t in the kitchen, the bathroom, or the living room.
“Mom and Dad… went on a trip…”
“A trip?”
“Yeah… so they won’t be back for a while…”
“Haa… tch. I came all this way just to surprise them for nothing.”
Maybe I should have sent a text before showing up.
I shrugged off my padded jacket and hung it on the rack.
“Why do you keep following me, Minhi?”
“Just because…”
From the entrance all the way into the house, Minhi stayed glued to my back, trailing after me without a break.
“Stop following me around.”
“No…”
To shake her off, I ducked into the bathroom. At least she didn’t seem willing to come in after me there.
“Huu…”
What the hell is wrong with her?
My last clear memory of her was of her laughing brightly as she headed off to the military academy. Now she was staring at me like she was possessed, following me everywhere, trembling with anxiety as if she couldn’t bear to be apart from me for even a second.
O-Oppa… you’re in there, right…?
“Yeah, I’m here.”
While I washed my hands and feet, Minhi’s voice drifted through the door.
You’re not… going somewhere else, are you…?
“I’m in the bathroom.”
You’re really in there… right? You are, right?
“Cut it out, Yoo Minhi. I’m in the bathroom.”
Even while I washed up, she kept talking to me through the door. Why was she searching for me so desperately? It was annoying, but part of me wondered if something hard had happened during the time I was gone that left her like this. I finished and opened the door.
“Sniff… sniff sniff…”
The moment I stepped out, I found Minhi wearing the padded jacket I had just taken off, burying her face in it and inhaling as deeply as she could.
“Hey, Yoo Minhi, what the hell are you doing?”
“Ah… O-Oppa’s scent is just… pouring out… I couldn’t hold back…”
“Haa… stop it, Yoo Minhi! What’s gotten into you since earlier?”
From the way she had latched onto me at the entrance to this obsessive clinging now, I already felt like I was losing my mind.
“S-Sorry, Oppa…”
“If you’re sorry, hang that jacket up right now.”
“Okay…”
Raising my voice finally seemed to snap her out of it a little. Minhi took off the jacket and hung it back on the rack.
“Ugh!”
In that brief moment, I caught a glimpse of her chest through the white T-shirt she was wearing underneath—she must have been sweating inside the jacket. I turned my head, avoiding the sight, and sat down on the living-room sofa.
“Hey, go change your clothes. You’re a grown woman. Why are you walking around the house in just that?”
“What’s wrong with it…?”
“Th-That kind of thing is for when you’re alone. I’m here right now.”
“…”
Minhi nodded and disappeared into her room.
“Huu… what the hell is wrong with her for real…”
All I wanted was for the bright, cheerful Minhi from the old days to come back.
“Ah, shit… I told you to go change.”
“I did change…”
I had told her to put on something else, but somehow the amount of fabric covering her had only decreased. The white T-shirt was now an olive-drab one that left her navel completely exposed, paired with black hot pants.
“Minhi, don’t we have any sweatpants or something in this house?”
“…I-I don’t know. I’m wearing this.”
Then she plopped down right next to me, pressing herself against my side.
“Oppa… it’s okay to hug you tight now, right?”
“No. Why do you keep doing this, Minhi? I’m seriously asking because I want to know.”
Unlike me, who had always been passive around anyone outside the family and spent most of my time alone, Minhi had always been outgoing and full of energy—someone everyone admired. Now she was completely different.
“Huh? Why are you acting like this?”
“I don’t know… I’m not telling you. I just want to hold Oppa…”
Without waiting for permission, she wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled herself onto me.
“Uuuhhh, Oppa…”
“Hey, Yoo Minhi, stop it! You’re a grown-ass woman—what the hell is wrong with you?!”
I was starting to get genuinely angry. I had no idea what had happened in the few years since I last saw her, but from the moment we reunited she had been clinging and obsessing over me nonstop, and I finally snapped.
Minhi, however, didn’t flinch. She just kept her arms locked around my waist in silence… and then her hands began to wander, sliding slowly toward my pants.
“Hey!! Yoo Minhi, I said stop!!”
She showed no intention of letting go. Her hand was heading straight for my crotch, and irritation was boiling over into something hotter. I tried to pry her hand off, but it wouldn’t budge—she was completely immovable.
“Hey, Yoo Minhi!! You crazy bitch, stop it—”
Rage shot straight to the top of my head. I had yelled at her multiple times to stop, yet she kept going, her hand still advancing. I cursed at her in fury, but—
Slap!
The sharp crack of a palm against my cheek rang out, and my head snapped slightly to the side.
The hand that had just been locked around my waist had risen and struck me across the face.
For a second my mind went blank.
“Hey, Yoo Minhi… have you lost your mind?”
I had never once raised a hand to my little sister. I had always spoiled her. And now she had slapped me.
“Hey, Yoo Minhi, answer me. Are you crazy?”
The shock of being hit by the sister I had always cherished hit me hard—and her hand still hadn’t stopped moving toward my crotch.
“Hey, you crazy bitch Yoo Minhi… wh-what the hell did you just do? Huh? Say something!!”
My cheek was stinging from how hard she had hit me, and the continued groping was driving me insane. I had never looked at my little sister that way, yet Minhi was staring at me with completely unfocused eyes, murmuring under her breath.
“Oppa…”
“What about me?”
“Oppa… you…”
The same Minhi who had just slapped me kept muttering, refusing to meet my eyes properly.
“Hey, Yoo Minhi, you’ve actually gone insane, haven’t you? This… this isn’t okay. Hitting me wasn’t enough, so now you’re groping me? That’s sexual assault, you know that?!”
“O-Oppa… is the one who did wrong…”
She kept murmuring in a tiny voice that I was the one at fault.
“What the hell did I do wrong? Tell me!!”
I had never fought with my little sister before. Other siblings bickered constantly, but we never had. We always looked out for each other, always gave way, and people around us always praised us for it.
And now that same sister had struck me first.
“Oppa… is the one who did wrong…”
“You fucking bitch, are you deaf? I said tell me what I did wrong!”
I was furious enough to curse her out while demanding an explanation for the slap. She just kept repeating that I was the one who had done something wrong.
“Ah, fuck… this is pissing me off…”
There was clearly no getting through to her. The thought of hitting her back for the slap crossed my mind, but I couldn’t bring myself to go that far. I shoved myself up from the sofa and started putting on the padded jacket I had hung up earlier.
“Fine, fuck it. If I’m the one who did wrong, then I’ll leave. It’s my fault for worrying about you this whole time because you never answered my messages, right? Fuck.”
“Y-You were worried about me…?”
For a whole year, every reply and every text I sent Minhi had gone unanswered. As her older brother I had been a little worried, and seeing her again had made me happy—until now.
“I don’t care what you do anymore. Live your own life however you want.”
I pulled on the jacket and was just about to open the front door when Minhi shot up from the sofa, breathing hard, and stared at me.
“Y-You… you really were worried about me…?”
“What, you fucking bitch? Have you ever seen me lie to you?”
We had been close since we were kids—closer than friends. We told each other everything hard that happened, and we never lied.
The moment my hand closed on the doorknob, Minhi grabbed my shoulder and forced me to turn around with raw strength.
“What, you gonna apologize now?”
“Haaah… haaah… O-Oppa, you really were worried about me?”
“I used to be. But not anymore, you fucking bitch.”
I shook her hand off my shoulder and tried to leave again. Instantly Minhi seized my body and yanked me backward. I toppled without a chance to catch my balance—would have hit the floor hard if she hadn’t caught me—but then she climbed right on top of me and suddenly kissed me.
Chuuup
Before I could even turn my face away, her lips were pressed hard against mine.
“Mmmph!!”
I tried with everything I had to shove her off, but Minhi didn’t budge an inch. Instead she grabbed the back of my head and kissed me even more fiercely. Her tongue licked along my tightly clenched teeth one by one, waiting for me to open up, devouring my lips the whole time.
“Mmmmmph!!”
I put every ounce of strength I had into pushing her away. The harder I fought, the harder she pressed down.
“Pwahhh… O-Oppa, I love you so much… so open your mouth a little…”
She broke the kiss just long enough to demand I open up. I glared at her.
“Hey, you crazy bitch, have you actually lost your mind?”
“No… I’m serious… so open your mouth, Oppa…”
“Get the fuck off me, you bitch!!”
I wiped my lips with the back of my hand and thrashed, trying to get free, but Minhi had no intention of letting go. She pinned both my arms with her hands and locked her legs around my body so I couldn’t move.
“Oppa… this is your last chance… I don’t want to do this to you either, so… let’s just make each other happy, okay?”
“Hey, Yoo Minhi, you real psycho bi— ghk!”
Thud!!
A brutal impact slammed into my stomach. It felt like my guts had been crushed.
“Cough, cough, ghhh… hey… Y-Yoo Minhi, you cra— cough cough—zy…?”
“I’ve held back as much as I can… so this is the last time. If you keep your mouth shut when I kiss you again, I’ll hit you again…”
Minhi had lost it. Completely, thoroughly lost it.
She called it my last chance and slowly leaned down, cupping my cheeks with both hands and stroking them.
“Oppa… I love you. For real… I love you so much I feel like I’m going crazy, so please don’t try to run away again.”
She brought her lips to mine once more and began to kiss me, her tongue sliding into my mouth. She tapped my clenched teeth a few times with her tongue. The look in her eyes as she watched me while we kissed was pure enough to kill—so I had no choice but to open my mouth.
Churrp, chup
Only then did she seem satisfied. Her eyes half-closed as her tongue began to thoroughly explore mine. She pulled my tongue into her mouth and lightly bit down on it with her teeth.
“Hehehe… Oppa, I caught you♡”
