Na-eun's Freshman OT and New Student Saeter
Na-eun's freshman OT day had arrived.
"Oppa, what do you think of this outfit?"
"Hmm, looks good."
"Right?"
Na-eun showed off how she was dressed.
A hoodie, winter jeans, and a long puffer jacket.
She seemed to think she was dressing casually, but with her great sense of style, she stood out immediately.
"You look pretty even like this. Can't you ever look ugly?"
"What kind of talk is that~?"
I lightly hugged Na-eun as she giggled brightly, then earnestly reminded her, making sure she heard me clearly.
"Na-eun-ah, go make friends with the other freshmen and seniors, okay?"
"Yes, got it. And I'll text you a bunch of times once I'm there."
"You don't have to go that far. I trust you."
"Hehehehehe."
Na-eun hugged me back, pulling me in with all her might.
Of course, it wasn't that strong. Na-eun's strength was pathetically weak.
I just stroked her hair, savoring the fragile embrace from my delicate Na-eun.
And about four hours later...
*Ring ring ring ring~ Ring ring~*
*Click!*
"Oppa, my OT's over!"
Na-eun called me, saying her OT had ended.
"OT's already done?"
"Yeah, it wasn't that long."
I'd never gone to OT myself. I remembered skipping it because it was a hassle.
So I had no idea it ended this quickly.
"Good job. How was OT?"
"Nothing much? The seniors just came out, gave some college life tips, we exchanged contacts, and that was it."
"Sounds good. Make any friends?"
"Psh, of course I did~ Who do you think I am~?"
Na-eun boasted proudly, which was adorable, but a corner of my heart felt uneasy.
Couldn't be helped—Na-eun was incredibly pretty and cute.
A girl like that with a great personality too? No way the guys wouldn't eye her.
I trusted Na-eun, but I was still a little anxious.
Maybe sensing that, Na-eun reassured me.
"Oppa, don't worry. I didn't exchange numbers with any guys."
"You didn't?"
"Nope, I straight-up told everyone I have a boyfriend. Plus, there weren't many guys anyway, and they didn't even talk to me."
My guess? Na-eun's too pretty for them to approach.
Among everyone I knew—even celebrities—she was the prettiest.
Could she really hide that with casual clothes? No way.
The guys must've been too intimidated by her aura to even try talking to her.
"Oppa, I told you not to worry, right?"
"Yeah, that's a relief."
"But oppa."
"Yeah?"
Na-eun hesitated, then brought up something unexpected.
"Um, can I post that photo of us on Onsta?"
"Onsta?"
"Yeah..."
Her voice turned cautious.
She probably wanted to post our photo but was gauging my reaction.
I told the watchful Na-eun right away.
"Go ahead. I don't care about that stuff anyway."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Want me to post one too?"
"...Oppa has Onsta?"
"Just an account."
Everyone in the army was on Onstagram, so I'd made one on a whim.
But I never used SNS, so I'd forgotten about it.
"Oppa, give me your Onsta ID. I'll add you."
"Got it. I'll check and send it soon."
"Hehehehehe."
Na-eun let out her signature cute laugh.
Hearing it, I smiled quietly.
I was so grateful—and so smitten—with Na-eun for going out of her way for me.

I checked my Onsta account, added Na-eun as a friend, posted our photo together, learned from her how to tag mentions, and just like that, I started using Onstagram.
But as soon as I did...
[Suhyun Kang]
...an unexpected name popped up in the recommended friends.
I'd deleted her contact, so no idea how she ended up there.
My first reaction was pure bewilderment. Totally caught me off guard.
Then came...
...genuine curiosity.
How are you doing now that we're broken up?
Honestly? I hope you're not doing well.
It wouldn't be fair if you ditched me and ended up happy.
And I hope seeing me happy makes your stomach turn.
Wow, I'm this petty, huh.
I chuckled at myself in disbelief, but I understood my feelings perfectly since they were mine.
In the end, I didn't check her account.
Not because I wanted to stay noble or anything.
Just seeing her face—even her name—pissed me off.
So I blocked her and went back to browsing Na-eun's Onsta.
Na-eun didn't seem super active either; she only had a few posts, all cute animal pics—no selfies.
Very on-brand for her, yet surprisingly so.
One thing was clear: it was overflowing with her cuteness.
Wanting to call her again, I dialed naturally.
*Ring ring*
*Click!*
Na-eun picked up almost immediately.
"Hello? Oppa?"
"Hello."
"Oppa, what's up?"
Her voice dripped with cuteness as she asked.
Stumped for a real reason, I came up with an excuse.
Couldn't exactly say, "I missed your voice"—ruins the senior boyfriend dignity.
"...You going to saeter?"
"Saeter?"
"Yeah."
"Hmm~ Probably."
"Figured."
From there, we naturally chatted about saeter.
"Oppa, did you go to saeter?"
"Skipped OT, but went to saeter."
"How was it?"
"Nothing special. Drink, play games, done."
"Drinking..."
"No forced shots these days. You'd get in trouble."
I knew even strict departments didn't force booze anymore.
Na-eun's nursing department was on the tougher side, but they'd avoid trouble with freshmen.
"...Oppa, I might skip saeter."
"Why? Someone bothering you?"
She denied it immediately.
"No, not that, but..."
"But?"
"...I just don't want to be in a situation where I drink in front of anyone but you."
Really, how many girls think of their boyfriend this much? I could swear there aren't many.
It also made me reflect on worrying—and slightly doubting—Na-eun earlier.
"Na-eun-ah, you should go. Your department needs those connections."
"...Yeah, probably."
"Right? So don't worry about me. I trust you."
"Hehe... Thanks always, oppa."
Thanks always. That's what I should say.
Thank you, Na-eun-ah. For always putting me first.

Saeter day arrived.
Only two days after OT, but I'd agonized a ton.
Should I go to saeter?
Conclusion: Yes.
As Seonwoo oppa said, it's how you make friends and get the lowdown.
Nursing was a tight-knit, intense major—networks and image mattered.
So I decided to go. Obviously, I'd text oppa constantly.
He might worry.
But heading there...
...it looked like there'd be no reason for oppa to worry.
No guys at all—maybe because it's nursing saeter.
Four guys at OT, and none showed.
Oppa would be thrilled inside. My anxiety vanished too.
No one here to get the wrong idea about me.
Of course, no drinking either.
I didn't want oppa seeing me drunk—only him.
"Girls~ Let's ride and have fun~"
"“Yes~”"
Worries about booze later—enjoy saeter now.
We gathered with the girls from OT, swapping contacts, chatting away.
The more we talked—especially about guys—the more I missed Seonwoo oppa.
What’s oppa doing now? Thinking of me?
I hope he misses me. Wants to see me.
And he definitely does.
Because he loves me as much as I love him.
