Chapter 91
Han Yaseong apologized immediately. "Sorry about that. It just popped into my head... I'm really sorry, Senior Euna."
"......No, it's fine. I was just startled, that's all. Yaseong, you're dirtier than I thought, huh? The first time I saw you, I pegged you as this pure, spineless little thing... Guess Yujin ruined you."
Senior Euna lightened the mood with a casual joke.
Han Yaseong let out a relieved breath and fired back. "Yeah, Senior Yujin turned me into this. I used to be so innocent..."
"Hmph, and an 'innocent' girl asks Yujin to show her a piss?"
"No, that's not..."
She even told her that?
Han Yaseong was floored. He had no idea how much Senior Choi Yujin had spilled to Senior Euna. She'd told him not to breathe a word to anyone, yet she'd blabbed everything to Euna. No wonder they say you can't trust women who've fallen out.
As Han Yaseong hemmed and hawed awkwardly, a sigh suddenly escaped Senior Euna. "Still... I'm jealous of Yujin. She lives so freely... I can't do a damn thing."
"Can't you sneak around a bit? Meet guys on the sly without your dad knowing?"
"No way. I'm like a baby elephant... Once they chain your leg as a kid, you can never break free even as an adult. Defying my father? That's not even an option for me. Sneaking out to see someone? Unthinkable."
It was like something out of the Joseon era nobility. Lock the daughter away pure and marry her off strategically to some powerhouse family. Senior Choi Yujin lived however she pleased, while Senior Jang Euna seemed trapped, unable to do a single thing she wanted.
"Still, talking with you was fun, Yaseong. I learned a ton today."
"Call anytime if you're curious about more. I'll tell you everything."
"Sounds good. Night, talk soon."
"Yeah, good night."
They hung up. Han Yaseong felt his stiff body as he got out of bed. They'd talked for hours. Sunlight streamed through the window already, birds chirping away. An all-nighter on the phone? Kinda ridiculous. With Senior Euna, no less... Another side effect of Choi Yujin. Without her, he'd never have pulled an all-nighter with Euna in his life.
Han Yaseong chugged water from the fridge. Senior Euna had a weird charm. Fragile like a caged bird, with the curiosity of a middle-school girl. Still, she was intimidating. That inexplicable poise of an upper-class woman. He couldn't fathom what confidence had made him think he could fuck her. She was not the type he could seduce and bed. Unless she seduced him first—otherwise, it was as impossible as swimming the Pacific.
Han Yaseong scarfed down some breakfast and flopped back into bed. The all-nighter with Euna had worn him out; sleep hit fast after eating. But even so, he started getting horny. What would it feel like with Euna? Closing his eyes, imagining it, he got hard quick. Jerking off ramped up the excitement. Her bikini body from the waterpark flashed in his mind. She took care of herself—perfectly balanced figure. Stripped naked, she'd be stunning. Tits bigger than expected. Ass probably perfect too. And untouched, pure. It fueled a subtle conquest vibe.
Han Yaseong fantasized about stripping Euna bare and pounding her as he stroked himself to a lazy sleep.
Around 2 p.m., he woke to check his phone and saw the text from Senior Euna. Sent around noon—she barely slept either. Rubbing his eyes, Han Yaseong fired off a quick reply.
For some reason, texting or talking with Euna was fun. A different flavor from Yujin.
She was using the club room as an excuse to slip out. Han Yaseong always had nothing going on before heading to the other world, so he jumped on it.
Texts done, Han Yaseong showered—it was getting hot. He felt himself getting closer to Euna. Or maybe she just didn't have anyone else to hang with. Made sense—no boyfriend, no blind dates, must get boring. Her girl friends were probably off with guys or jetting to Europe.
Feeling a strange camaraderie, Han Yaseong dressed after his shower. Normally he'd binge downloaded dramas or variety shows at home before portaling over, but today he had plans. Kinda exciting. Like a date with Senior Euna. Alone in the club room... He hoped she'd make a move. Yujin's words rang true: unless a woman seduces you first, you won't make it happen. Seducing Euna? His head shook no. He could want to, but his body wouldn't move. But if she tempted him? He'd cave. Hell, any half-decent girl tempting him would do it—he liked being seduced.
Upper-class guys had it made, he thought. Women and celebs throwing themselves at them. Enviable.
Han Yaseong decided to just enjoy the day with Euna and headed out. He walked to campus, to the annex's club room. Still break time, but plenty of students around. Soccer on the field, guys shooting hoops, library packed with job-prep studiers.
Up to the 4th-floor club room—locked. He headed back down, grabbed a drink outside, and waited. Around 4 p.m., Senior Euna showed.
"Wait long?"
"A bit."
"Told you by 4."
"Got bored, came early."
Euna's outfit was different—less plain, more put-together, kinda radiant. Beige tee with a white skirt fluttering below the knees. Suited her.
"Club room first."
"Sure."
Han Yaseong followed her back up the stairs. She unlocked the door. The room was small, dust everywhere—no one had been in over 50 days.
"Let's clean up."
"Okay."
Euna opened windows; Han Yaseong grabbed the mop and hit the hall. They got to work. She wiped tables and chairs with a clean rag; he mopped the floor, then dusted sills and shelves. After 30 minutes, it sparkled.
Euna pulled out delivery menus. "What should we order?"
"Sweet."
Han Yaseong perked up—he hadn't wanted to go out anyway. But he checked awkwardly. "Delivery okay?"
He'd heard upper-class folks skipped that stuff. Chicken, pig feet, jjajangmyeon, tteokbokki—peasant food. Some even avoided kimchi. Would Euna really go for it? Felt bad if she was forcing it for him.
But no. "Love it. Dad doesn't care what I eat. At school, anyway. Can't at home, but here? Fine. No boyfriends, that's all. Freshman and sophomore years, I'd order just to rebel. My one act of defiance."
Even sadder somehow. Rebelling with delivery food. Chaebol daughter life wasn't all bliss.
Euna flipped through menus. "Upper class sucks for girls. Guys love it. Girls? Just luxury shopping. Beyond spending, we get nothing. Guys blow cash, hook up, party... Even married, they cheat freely. American upper-class women have it fun—makes me jealous. Wanna live like that, but nah. School delivery's my thrill. Hehe."
Still, she wouldn't ditch her status. Made sense—no girl ditches noble chains to be a lowly serf.
