I left the boar that had flown into the distance behind and walked deeper into the mountains in search of stronger prey.

“I won’t release the Zanpakuto. I’ll just fight it normally.”

I let out a small chuckle at the viewers’ half-hearted provocations. It wasn’t a strong opponent; there was no reason to use Shikai on a single tiger.

Unlike the wary boar from earlier, the tiger charged the moment it saw me. It was faster than the boar, but still just an animal. Now that I had some breathing room against its speed, I moved quickly.

I ended the call with Garp and went to find Luffy.

“Luffy! I’m heading out to sea.”

“Ishishi! Attacks don’t work on me! But Jin, you’re pretty fast. I didn’t expect to get grabbed and hit like that.”

“I still have a lot more to show you, Luffy.”

I answered and took the offensive this time. I rushed in and threw a high kick.

It wasn’t a skill, but it was still fast. Luffy ducked and easily avoided it, then punched upward, smashing my jaw.

The impact was stronger than I expected and made my head ring. I shook it off and swept a low spinning kick at Luffy’s legs as he charged me.

To attack me, Luffy stretched both arms behind him and charged again.

Knowing the technique, I instead ran toward Luffy, looking for an opening.

The moment Luffy tried to slam both hands into me, I stepped in close, planted a hand on his shoulder, jumped over the attack, and delivered a powerful kick to the back of his head.

Luffy flew forward, skidding across the ground. A moment later he stood up, brushed himself off like it was nothing, and got back to his feet.

“Jin! You’ve gotten insanely strong! You didn’t even use that Navy martial arts or your sword earlier?”
