Foosha Village and Luffy
Foosha Village and Luffy. Sage's Eye [EX] — An eye that sees the information of all things in the world. It can view other people's status windows. It can view item information.
"Got it! I feel power overflowing through my body. Then I'll check Luffy's status window once I meet him, and for now I'll try lifting the rock again."
Flash! I had already lifted it without much effort earlier, but thanks to my Strength rising to C-rank, a rock of this size no longer even registered as heavy. I tried running until I got tired, but I didn't feel fatigued at all, and my running speed was so fast that it was hard to control.
"I'll have to move my body a lot until I get used to this. The sun's starting to set, so shall we head back?"
Chatting with the viewers, I returned to Makino's tavern. Upon arriving, I asked Makino for a drink and waited for Luffy while pondering my future plans. The first major branch of my plan was whether to [preserve the original story as much as possible] or [destroy the original story]. Next came the question of stance: whether to [join Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates] or [form my own adventure party and travel separately]. Joining the Marines was an option too, but after entering a fictional world, I wanted to avoid military enlistment.
"Everyone, my goal is to travel this world while building a harem. If I stick with Luffy, it'll be nothing but fighting, so how about I travel separately from him, gather harem heroines, and just ally with Luffy when needed?"
"My favorites are Nami, so Nami, Vivi, Robin, and Hancock. Vivi and Hancock might be hard to keep around due to circumstances, so in the East Blue I'll just focus on Nami."
"Ah! There's Alvida!! Makino's fine, but I don't really feel it, and Kaya isn't my type..."
"Ah! Is this first-person right now?? Hold on... I'll change the settings."
When I checked the stream settings, there was a viewpoint change tab. Upon touching it, three options appeared before my eyes.
[First-Person View]
[Third-Person View]
[Free View]
"What's Free View?"
Not knowing what Free View was, I pressed and held it, and a small description popped up.
[Free View]
Viewers can move around like ghosts within a certain radius of the streamer and watch freely.
"Free View sounds great? I'll switch to Free View!"
[Switching to Free View.]
"Ah! I forgot to mention... If any 19+ situations occur, I'll end the stream! Even I feel a bit weird about doing adult broadcasts."
"I'll think about that when the situation arises. To explain the plan again! My two-year plan before Luffy sets sail is to find the Sube Sube Fruit, recruit Alvida as a companion, destroy Arlong, and recruit Nami as a companion!"
"For the ship, I can exchange the Yoohee World currency voucher for 100 million Berries and buy one. I'll handle Arlong after checking Luffy and Zoro's stats and raising mine above theirs. The problem is the Sube Sube Fruit to feed Alvida..."
"Ah! A navigator... Then should I teach Luffy for about a year?"
"No..."
"Exactly! We absolutely can't abandon Nami!"
While the viewers and I were worrying about the Straw Hats' navigator, the door burst open and Luffy came in.
"I'm hungry! Makino, give me food!!! Put it on my tab!"
Seeing the viewers chattering after spotting Luffy, it seemed far fewer people were doubting now. Smiling faintly, I greeted Luffy.
"Hey, Luffy."
"Huh? It's Jin! Where were you? We need to train together!"
"I had some things to think about."
"Really? I thought you went out to sea alone again. You idiot."
"Not yet. I'm thinking of doing it in a year."
"What?! Then you're planning to go alone? Don't do that, let's become pirates together~!"
"I'm not becoming a pirate, Luffy. I'm going to be an adventurer! But when you become a pirate and set out to sea, I'll help you as an ally with whatever I can!"
"If that's what you want, Jin, then I guess there's no choice... Being an adventurer sounds cool too?!"
"Yeah, it'll be cool!"
"Ah! Luffy, want to eat this?"
"Oh! It smells delicious! Thanks for the food, Jin!"
While watching Luffy devour the hamburger like a madman, I activated the skill.
Sage's Eye
Name: Monkey D. Luffy (2 years before original)
Age: 15
Stamina: B+
Strength: B
Agility: B
Intelligence: D+
Devil Fruit - Gomu Gomu no Mi (Hito Hito no Mi - Model: Nika)
Haki: None
With Stamina at B+ and everything else at B-rank... even if he got much stronger two years later, it didn't seem like he'd exceed A+. I considered Arlong's stats to be around Luffy's current level and asked the viewers.
"Everyone, if I raise my average stats to A-rank, I should be able to beat Arlong easily, right?"
The viewers' thoughts aligned with mine. I decided to focus on raising my stats first, then gaining combat experience. After pondering for a moment, I suddenly looked up and noticed the viewer count had reached an alarming number.
"By the way, there are over 1,000 viewers now? How did you all find out about this?"
"Aha! In that case, viewers!"
I called out to the viewers loudly, and the chat was flooded with messages like [Why?] [Why are you calling?]. After a brief pause, I grinned and spoke.
"I'll give you all the opportunity to donate!"
"No, you guys want to see it too... the sight of harem members walking around the ship in bikinis... Don't you want to see that? To make that possible, I'd have to go out and gather them within a year, right? If I'm late, Luffy might snatch them... I'll recruit Nami and Alvida first, then stick around when Luffy sets sail in two years."
"My current Strength, Agility, and Stamina are C, so to raise them to A it would be 1.44 million won? With 1,000 people, would 2,000 won each work?"
Clink! Clink! Clink!
Starting with the first donation, countless donation sounds piled up, eventually exceeding 2 million won.
"Thank you! I'll use the donations to raise my stats and make an entertaining stream. Please keep enjoying it in the future!"
After thanking the viewers, I raised my Strength, Agility, and Stamina to A-rank, excluding Intelligence. About 700,000 won remained, and I briefly considered what to do with the money.
"That works! High-tier rolls are 100,000 won each, so I'll do five and save the rest."
Following the viewers' suggestions, I entered the gacha tab and performed five high-tier rolls.
Flash!
Swordsmanship [E]
Glock 17
Skill: Observation Haki [F]
Skill: Rokushiki: Soru [A]
Elixir x1
In the middle, there was an item that shouldn't exist in this world, but three skills and an Elixir had appeared.
"The Elixir... I remember it as a medicine that can revive someone who's been dead for a short time? As expected, high-tier rolls are satisfying."
I took out the Glock pistol and the Elixir that had automatically gone into my inventory. The Glock was fully loaded. I used Sage's Eye on the important item, the Elixir.
It heals physical defects, all wounds, and status ailments, and can revive creatures that have been dead for less than one hour.
Satisfied with the simple yet certain effect, I put the Elixir and Glock back into my inventory and said, "Uh... I'll seal this for now."
"I haven't confirmed it, but in reality, items probably won't come out... And a pistol against Luffy... I'm curious if it would work, but I shouldn't test it, right?"
"I won't try it. Don't worry! Looking at the gacha results again... I got Observation Haki as a skill, and though there's only one Rokushiki skill [Soru], it's A-rank so it's fine. I also got Swordsmanship."
Allows more efficient use of swords.
The Swordsmanship skill seemed to be a passive skill, as knowledge of how to swing a sword more effectively surfaced in my mind.
"Swordsmanship is a passive skill, huh? I can compensate for lack of experience with it in the beginning, right?"
"Just a moment! The skill usage method is..."
Soru!
When I thought about using Soru, my body instantly vanished and reappeared behind Luffy. Startled with his mouth agape, Luffy shouted at me and began asking questions.
"Jin! What did you just do?! Was that teleportation?"
"This is the Marines' Rokushiki. It's a technique where you kick the ground multiple times in an instant to move."
"Marine Rokushiki? Jin, are you going to become a Marine? You said you'd be an adventurer."
Hearing that I had used Marine Rokushiki, Luffy looked disappointed, and I smiled at his hasty judgment as I replied.
"No, Luffy. I just used the technique... I have no intention of becoming a Marine."
"Really? You idiot! Then should I practice that Marine Rokushiki too?"
"Yeah! If it's you, Luffy, you can do it!"
"You idiot! Of course I can!!"
After explaining the usage method of Soru to Luffy verbally, I returned to my seat and looked at the chat.
"This much should be fine, right? It's not like I'm teaching him Gear 2 or Haki. He needs to get stronger on his own."
"I get stronger with your money."
Smiling at the chat, I began to ponder again. With just the Swordsmanship skill and Soru, wouldn't it be okay to go get a ship right away? Did I really need to stay for a whole year? I asked the viewers for their opinions.
"Everyone, after just a bit of physical adaptation, should we quickly go recruit companions? I also need to make my companions stronger quickly after recruiting them, and once Luffy starts his voyage it'll be constant fighting, so before that I'd like to travel around the East Blue too..."
"Right! Let's get a ship first and go take down Arlong right away! After recruiting Nami as a companion, I'll go to Syrup Village and have Nami teach Usopp, so the Straw Hat Pirates won't starve to death!"
"Bros, Luffy needs to get companions too... Taking Zoro as well would be a bit sorry, right? Unless he gets TS'd..."
Smiling at the chat, I decided to end the first broadcast.
"I'll sleep today and train a bit when I wake up tomorrow. I'll also look into buying a ship..."
"Yeah! Once I get a ship, I'll set sail right away, so everyone look forward to it! I feel like I can beat Arlong easily even now! Then see you tomorrow! Promote a lot, everyone!"
[The broadcast has ended.]
