Level 15 and a Glimpse of Pink
The crystal lion pack appeared, and after a fierce battle against around nine of them, we leveled up. It was a bit embarrassing to just stand there doing nothing while everyone else was locked in such an intense fight.
Level 15 has been reached.
⊳ Hyunsu's Wife has reached Level 15
⊳ Yena Princess has reached Level 15
⊳ Junsik Prince has reached Level 15
“Wow~ We hit Level 15! I learned a new skill!”
“Then let’s all take a moment to check our skills,” I said.
The skills I currently have are Double Shot, Arrow Bomb, Arrow Shower, Archer’s Focus, and Triple Shot. My passives are Additional Arrow and Piercing Arrow.
Reaching Level 15 this time granted me four more skills.
Attack Power Increase (Passive)
Effect: Increases the entire party’s attack power by 10%.
Acquisition Level: 15
Out of the four new skills, only one was a passive. At first I thought I’d gotten an incredibly powerful one. But Yena’s a mage and Jiyeong’s a priest, so attack power only really applies to me and Junsik. Mages don’t rely on attack power for their spells anyway.
On top of that, Junsik doesn’t have a high damage share, so even a 10% attack boost doesn’t do much for him. In the end, I’m the only one who can really make use of it. It’s definitely a good passive, but it’s hard for our party to take full advantage of it.
Ah well… that’s a shame. I moved on to the three active skills.
Trap Detection (Active)
Mana Cost: 100 / Cooldown: 30 minutes
Effect: For 30 minutes, emits a warning sound if a trap is nearby. When focused, the location of traps will glow.
Acquisition Level: 15
Archer’s Eye (Active)
Mana Cost: 200 / Cooldown: 30 minutes
Effect: For 30 minutes, displays where arrows will land.
Acquisition Level: 15
Snipe Shot (Active)
Mana Cost: 50 per second, max 500 / Cooldown: 1 minute
Effect: Summons a mana arrow and begins charging upon activation. Can charge for up to 10 seconds before firing. Damage increases proportionally to mana infused (up to 10x). After infusing mana for 5 seconds or more, the arrow ignores wind resistance, flies silently, and becomes nearly invisible due to its speed. Snipe Shot cannot benefit from the Additional Arrow passive, but the Piercing Arrow passive is applied at 100% chance.
Acquisition Level: 15
Trap Detection seems like it’ll be useful in dungeons full of traps, and Archer’s Eye is so good I should probably keep it on all the time. It shows exactly where the arrow will land? I won’t even need to aim anymore. Just look at the landing point and fire. The mana cost has gone up though… I’ll need Yena’s mana recovery even more now.
Need more mana recovery? Sounds good to me.
And then there’s the real prize for archers—Snipe Shot. A skill that lets you charge for up to ten seconds before firing. Ten seconds is a long time to charge in the middle of battle, but the damage is going to be insane. If I combine it with Archer’s Focus, which slows time for two seconds, the arrow will never miss.
Now that I’d checked my own skills, it was time to look at Jiyeong’s.
“Jiyeong, can you share your skill window with me?”
“Sure, honey. But I only got one new skill.”
“Huh? Really? I got four.”
“Instead, I got messages saying some of my existing skills were enhanced.”
“Skill enhancement? Let’s take a look.”
Health Recovery Increase (Passive)
Effect: Doubles the entire party’s health recovery rate.
Acquisition Level: 15
Wait, at Level 15 she really only got one passive? Still, doubling health recovery is a pretty big effect.
Junsik has a huge build, so after battles he always sticks close to Jiyeong for constant contact healing. Yena and I felt it was too much to ask for contact healing, but not healing left us in this awkward middle ground where we still needed to recover health. Now that we have this doubled natural recovery passive, we probably won’t need contact healing from Jiyeong anymore.
So Jiyeong’s contact healing has basically become Junsik-exclusive? Hmm… that feels a little weird.
Ha… this is getting complicated.
Anyway, only getting one passive at Level 15 feels a bit disappointing. I got so many useful skills. The skill enhancements had better be worth it. I checked the rest of Jiyeong’s skills.
Her skills are Heal which charges once every ten minutes, Angel’s Ordeal and Butterfly of Light which increase damage taken by the target, Contact Heal, and Angel’s Kiss which revives someone when they die. Two of them had been enhanced: Butterfly of Light and Contact Heal.
Butterfly of Light (Active)
Mana Cost: 1 per butterfly / Cooldown: None
Effect: Summons and launches ‘3→6’ butterflies of light per second toward the target. Targets hit by the butterflies take minor damage and receive 1% increased damage taken for 1 minute. (Maximum stack: 30%)
Acquisition Level: 5 + Skill Enhancement (Enhancement Level: 15): Butterfly summoning speed doubled. Butterfly damage doubled.
Contact Heal (Passive)
Effect: Restores health to targets in physical contact. The wider the contact area, the higher the recovery efficiency.
Acquisition Level: 5 + Skill Enhancement (Enhancement Level: 15): Changing the contact area grants a 50% increase in recovery efficiency for 10 seconds.
First, the practicality of Butterfly of Light had shot up. These butterflies could no longer be ignored. Six stinging butterflies per second? Oof. And the more you get hit, the higher the damage taken debuff stacks, up to 30%. Wow. That’s actually really good.
And Contact Heal now requires changing the contact point every ten seconds. If you start by holding hands, after ten seconds you lose the 50% bonus, so you have to switch to grabbing the wrist or somewhere else. A 50% increase isn’t some small 20-30% buff—it’s enormous. I could already picture Junsik grinning ear to ear as he thought about touching Jiyeong all over, and it made my head spin.
“Oh my goodness, it’s really popping up! Wooooow!”
While I was getting a headache over Jiyeong’s skills, I heard Yena’s excited voice beside me. When I turned, she was floating in the air.
“Yena, did you learn Fly?”
“Yeah, oppa. Fly… the name is literally just ‘fly,’ right? This fantasy stuff… anyway, it’s so amazing! Can I go even higher?”
In moments like this, I really envied mages. What does it feel like to float in the air? I wish I had Fly too. An archer shooting arrows while floating in midair? That sounds awesome.
As Yena slowly rose higher, she reached all the way to the ceiling of the cave.
But… whoa… her skirt was completely exposed from below.
Even though she was pretty high up, my vision was enhanced as an archer. I could clearly see Yena’s beautiful pink pussy. It was the first time I’d seen it, but it was so pretty that I thought, Of course it would be this beautiful if her face is that pretty. Jiyeong jumped in shock and shouted.
“Oh my god, you little exhibitionist! Yena! Your skirt—everything’s showing!”
“Unnie~ What did you saaaay?”
“You’re not wearing panties! I can see everything!”
“Kyaaah! Guys, close your eyes right now!!!!”
Yena yanked her skirt down as she screamed.
It was a shame I couldn’t see more, but I obediently closed my eyes and turned away. You have to listen in situations like this. Otherwise both women will tear you apart.
A moment later, I heard Yena land back on the ground.
“You can open your eyes now.”
When I opened them, Yena’s face was bright red. She must have been really embarrassed.
I’d seen every part of Yena now, top and bottom… Even though she was dressed, I couldn’t stop imagining her completely naked.
Yena ran over to Jiyeong, hugged her, and whined.
“Unnieeeee~ What am I supposed to doooo~”
“This game is seriously weird. Why don’t we have underwear… Still, thank goodness I married Junsik oppa first.”
“Aiiing~ Seriouslyyy.”
Yena, who had been denying reality, suddenly puffed her cheeks and marched over to me. She grabbed my collar with her small, pure-white hands and started shaking me.
“Forget it! Forget it! Forget it! Forget it!”
“Ugh— I forgot! I already forgot! I didn’t see anything at all! Wait, I didn’t see the pussy! No, not pussy, I mean— that’s not what I—”
“Aaaaaagh!!!! Oppaaaa!!! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!”
My head was spinning so badly that my tongue got twisted and I started saying weird things. After getting tormented by Yena for a while, I finally managed to escape.
“Whew… the world is still spinning.”
Junsik walked over and said with a smirk.
“Pfft, pffft. You crazy bastard. ‘I didn’t see the pussy’? I laughed my ass off, dude.”
“Shut up, my head’s ringing.”
“You really are the most embarrassing friend no matter where you go.”
Damn it. I was thinking the exact same thing while looking at you. What does that make me, hearing that I’m the most embarrassing friend from the most embarrassing friend of all?
I could feel my self-worth dropping lower and lower compared to Junsik, and it filled me with self-loathing.
