The Gojadan Revelation and a Sudden Guild Invitation
After I cut the guild stream, I waited exactly sixty seconds. Right on time, Ha-im threw open the door to the streaming booth.
“Mom says come eat.”
“Tell her I’ll eat later. I’m still broadcasting.”
I had to turn the stream back on in a minute. There was no time to sit down for a meal…
“They’re serving oppa’s favorite braised beef and soya sausage?”
The words hit like a hammer. I shot up from my chair. Braised beef and soya? Those I could never resist. I practically ran to the living room, where a mouth-watering spread of jangjorim and juicy soya was waiting just for me. I had to hand it to her—Mrs. Kim’s cooking was on another level. I dropped into my seat and attacked the side dishes like a man who’d just returned from war.
“Finished with the King of Games?”
“Yeah, wrapped up safely.”
It had been brutal on both body and mind, but the payoff was worth every second of pain.
“By the way, are you planning to take the qualification exam? The application deadline’s almost here.”
“Don’t worry. I already submitted it.”
I’d sent it in ages ago. Whether I’d actually pass was still up in the air.
“Think you can handle it? Want me to enroll you in an academy?”
“No thanks. One academy was more than enough.”
I had zero desire to suffer through that hell a second time.
“It’s a waste of money anyway. I’m gonna go wash up now.”
Once I’d cleaned my plate, I stood and headed straight for the bathroom. After a quick towel-dry of my hair, I fired the stream back up.
Do you actually think this is fun?
Me
Rock
Hurry up and reveal the fandom name or you’re dead
Me
Rock
“Aww, come on, everyone. You really think I turned the stream off for fun?”
Of course I’d done it on purpose just to mess with them. Viewers sometimes forgot who was the alpha and who was the beta. Especially when all most of them ever threw were measly thousand-won punches.
“Listen up, Gojadan. It feels like you guys forget who’s in charge pretty often.”
Is that seriously the fandom name?
Who decided that!!!!
Who the hell are you calling a eunuch, you rag bastard!
“Obviously I decided it myself.”
They kept trying to slap that “rag” meme on me every single stream. Time to make the castration permanent.
“Everyone, how much do you think my monthly donations add up to?”
How would we know?
Change the fandom name while I’m still asking nicely.
“One point eight million won.”
????
Question marks flooded the screen. My average viewer count was over a thousand, yet my monthly earnings were only 1.8 million. That meant everyone except the big boss was throwing nothing but thousand-won punches. It was actually less than what I made from PKing. Sure, my stream hours were short, but I never took breaks.
“You only throw thousand-won punches but you’ve got a whole list of demands, huh?”
It really is low…
Even less than what I give and I’m a cheapskate.
“It’s fine if you only throw thousand-won punches. I’m not saying give me more money. I’m saying stop acting like you own the place when all you do is throw pocket change. ‘Play this game, do a reaction cam, let’s do Last Magic’—is that normal?”
I genuinely tried to play what the viewers wanted, but sometimes our opinions simply didn’t match.
I don’t have money…
“Good, as long as you understand. So no more complaints about the fandom name, right?”
Guess we’re getting castrated…
My persuasion seemed to work. They were slowly starting to accept the name Gojadan.
“Alright then. Shall we enjoy some PK for the first time in a while?”
For this very moment I had used Mrs. Kim’s card to buy the latest VR unit. The second I logged in, a medieval village unfolded before my eyes, packed with NPCs and players. I wandered around the village to test things out.
Whoa, it really feels real…
The level of realism was insane. I couldn’t help but marvel at this new technology.
Ah, I forgot to connect it to the computer.
What the viewers were seeing right now was just a blank screen. I quickly linked the VR to the chat window.
It’s up!
There it is!
The connection went smoothly. I decided to test the waters with a question.
“Everyone, do I look any different today?”
Suddenly?
This is confusing lol
1000 won donation from ㅇㅇ Your character got prettier
Yeah lol
She really did get prettier lol
Is the donator a genius?
“No, not that!”
I waited, but even after five full minutes no one gave the right answer. A sigh escaped me.
“I’m using VR! How can you not tell?!”
Give us an easier question
Why is the question so hard
All I got was complaints about how impossible it was to guess. I couldn’t believe it.
“This is exactly why none of you have girlfriends!”
Stop with the brutal facts…!
If you’re gonna make the question that hard—
How would we know you don’t have a girlfriend!!!
I ignored the chat exploding with rage and kept going.
“I spent a lot this time. What do you think?”
I’d bought the latest VR headset fully prepared to endure three hours of Mrs. Kim’s scolding. “With this I should be able to PK a lot more people, right?”
VR controls were far easier than keyboard and mouse, so I’d be able to hunt down way more players.
Sorry we can’t donate more ㅜㅜ
Don’t you get tired of PKing lol
“Aww, how could I ever get tired of it?”
Every time I stole someone’s precious item through PK, pure joy surged through me. Crushing opponents with overwhelming skill was exhilarating, but the real thrill was their despair. The way they despaired after losing hard-earned gear—that was the true driving force behind my PK addiction.
“Time to start a wholesome PK broadcast after so long!”
Three hours into PKing, I hurled my staff to the ground.
“Fuck! Why aren’t any items dropping?!”
No way they’d drop lol
Everyone’s been copying you lately and storing all their gear in warehouses
Apparently a bunch of copycats were running around imitating me. Damn them! Ruining the PK scene while I was gone?!
“Still, this is too much!”
I’d PK’d over three hundred players, but not a single end-game item had dropped. Just useless junk.
“Wait a second… Is this a bug?”
No way it’s a bug lololol
This wasn’t working. I needed to send a complaint. I opened the in-game mail window.
Writing an email?
“No matter how I think about it, this makes no sense!”
The email I wrote went like this:
Greeting.
I am a user who enjoys playing Last Magic. The reason I am sending this email for the first time is because I believe there is a problem with the current PK meta. No matter how much I PK, good items refuse to drop. I am fully aware that this is because there are many more PK players these days. As a result, everyone is storing their important items in their warehouses, and users like myself are suffering. To solve this issue, I believe it would be best to either remove the warehouse system or adjust the item drop rates. Additionally, I would like to briefly share my thoughts on mage balance. Currently, mages receive the most persecution among all classes in Last Magic. For example… (omitted)… Therefore, I hope for buffs to the mage class. Having explained this much, I hope my sincerity reaches you. Thank you.

I sent the 5,700-character complaint meal. They should understand after reading all that. If they didn’t, they were idiots.
First time seeing someone actually send something like this lol
Why did you even sign your name lol
“Who knows? I might become a Last Magic partner someday.”
Last Magic was extremely picky when choosing partners from named streamers. I’d only been streaming for a month and a half, but you never knew. If I became a named streamer, maybe Kuz would give me partner status.
Fuck, it’s finally over
You really PK’d for a long time lol
The field became a PK zone because of you, so take responsibility lololol
“Why is that my responsibility?”
I had to set the record straight. Was it my fault for PKing, or the fault of the people copying me?
'Noah' has logged into the game.
“……?”
The paladin guy had suddenly logged in. Should I talk to him after so long? I teleported to where the paladin was.
“Hiii!”
『Ah, yes.』
“Ugh, what kind of reaction is that?”
『……?』
I went out of my way to turn on my mic and greet him, and all I got was “Ah, yes.” Wasn’t that a little too dry?
Should I ask him too?
I spun around once, showing off to the paladin.
“Hey, do I look any different today?”
『Pardon?』
This is hilarious lololol
The viewers couldn’t figure it out even when spoon-fed, but what about our paladin?
『…You’re using a VR headset.』
“Oh, you noticed?”
“Yes. The motion looks a little more natural.”
He figured it out instantly when the viewers couldn’t. Great sense. “Everyone, watch and learn.”
How are we supposed to know that…
As expected from a paladin. He definitely had a girlfriend.
“By the way, what’s Rona doing right now?”
The paladin frowned. Why the weird reaction?
『How would I know that?』
“Weren’t you a viewer in Rona’s stream?”
『I watch your stream.』
“……!”
I didn’t know that.
Even the paladin was part of Gojadan?
The viewers seemed just as shocked as I was.
“Wait, but didn’t you raid my stream before?”
『That was just because I happened to succeed on the raid title by chance.』
“…….”
I was at a loss for words. I never expected the paladin to actually watch my stream.
『I listen sometimes while working. It’s nice as background audio.』
“…Well, thanks.”
Regardless, it was still nice that he watched. It was just a shame. He sounded young, yet he’d been castrated.
『Hey! What are you doing over there?』
“……?”
Someone was approaching from afar. When I looked closer, it was the fighter who had been our raid leader last time.
『Oh, Chuwang is here too?』
“Ah, yes. Long time no see.”
We’d parted on bad terms because of that thief bastard, so it was a little awkward, but I never thought we’d meet here.
『Hey, did you tell him about that?』
『Ugh, do I really have to?』
That?
Suddenly the fighter and paladin were having a conversation I couldn’t follow. What were they talking about?
『Sigh, fine. I’ll say it.』
“……?”
What was he going to say? The fighter looked at me with a kind smile.
『Chuwang, would you like to join our guild?』
