If I Really Snap, I'll Yank the Wheel
"Hey, let's take the same car. Why the hell are we going separately?"
"I don't even want to breathe the same air as you."
"Ha... that's harsh."
Areum climbed straight into the driver's seat of her own car anyway. Without a second to think, I bolted for the passenger side.
Click—
"Hoo..."
Thud—
"Haa... You're not getting out? Get out. Right now."
"Hey, this is seriously over the top. Why do we have to go separately? Is gas money rotting in your pocket? Mine's on Dad's card, so it doesn't rot. Come on, let's just go together, yeah?"
"...Why the hell are you suddenly doing shit you never do? Let's just do it the usual way, okay? Or fuck it—you take this car. I'll grab a taxi."
Having spat that out, Areum tossed me the car keys without a shred of hesitation and made to climb out of the driver's seat.
"Hey, heeey! Fine, separately, separately. Geez... you're not a little kid."
"...Get the hell out already."
I met Areum's murderous glare head-on, forced a grin, and climbed out of the car.
"Ha... cold-blooded bitch."
I never thought she'd go that far just over sharing a car. I'd been imagining casually brushing against her breasts and kneading her thighs from the passenger seat, but it looked like that would have to stay pure fantasy. What a shame.
In the end, I climbed into the driver's seat of my own car, planning to follow behind her.
Bzzzt— bzzzt—
And the phone that started buzzing had the word Mom lit up clear as day on the screen.
"Yeah, Mom. Just about to head out."
"Alright. Sorry I couldn't come with you. Is Areum there next to you?"
"Uh... well, haha... we took separate cars."
"Son! What is wrong with you? Would it kill you to look after her and get along for just one day?"
"Hey, why are you yelling at me without even listening? Areum said she wanted to go alone..."
"...Really? Is that true? Oh my, what do I do. Hang on, Mom's going to call her."
"Mom! Don't tell me you don't believe me right now—hey... she hung up."
Not trusting her own son's word even on something this important—that was a little shocking. However low my credibility might be, I hadn't realized it was this low.
"Haa... what am I supposed to do about it? Why is everyone always on my case?"
And deep down I was sweating, half-afraid something weird might come up during their call. Stuck between doing nothing and doing nothing, I half-gave up and leaned back against the seat.
"Huuuuh..."
Bzzzt— bzzzt—
Before long, the phone started buzzing again.
"...See? I didn't say anything weird, right?"
"Who said you did? I told Areum to go with you, so go together and come back safe. Don't go picking fights on a day like this, got it?"
"What did I even do..."
"Got it, or don't got it?"
"Ha, got it. I said I got it."
"Answer once. Mom's heading back in now. Have a good trip."
Beep— beep— beep—
Thankfully nothing strange seemed to have come up—though whether that was a good thing or not, I couldn't tell. Either way, I leaned back against the seat again and waited for Areum to return.
"Haa... this is seriously pissing me off. What the hell did I do that was so wrong..."
All kinds of thoughts flickered through my head, and I let out a hollow laugh.
"Heh heh... like, ten percent? No... thirty percent? I mean, who told her to do that kind of stream in the first place? Seriously..."
Come to think of it, the reason our relationship had gone sour in the first place was Areum's fault too. Things had just spun out a little differently from what I'd intended, and somehow I was always the bad guy.
"Fuck... thinking about it again is seriously... pissing me off."
Even the way my parents treated me like I was a little slow was because of Areum. I could still picture Mom's furious face, clear as day, storming in and out of school over all the fistfights. And as for the state our relationship had reached now—I figured we'd already come too far to turn it back.
Still, unfair was unfair. Even if I was generous with myself, my share of the blame was maybe forty-nine percent. In the end, I was pretty sure it was all Areum's fault.
HONK—! HOOOONK—!
"Ah, shit... nearly gave me a heart attack."
Mid-thought, a massive blast of a horn from behind jolted me upright. And right on its heels, Areum's shout rang through the parking lot.
"Hey, get in!"
Without thinking twice, I grabbed my stuff and climbed into the passenger seat of her car.
"Did you call her?"
"...What?"
"Did you call Auntie?"
"What the hell are you talking about. I was about to leave when she suddenly called and told me to put you on—what was I supposed to do about that?"
"Haa... whatever. Just put your damn seatbelt on."
"Crazy bitch. Even when I tell the truth she throws a fit."
"Please just shut that mouth of yours. I swear... if I really snap, I'll yank the wheel."
"Ah—no... you fucking psycho... don't even joke about that."
"Does this look like a joke to you? Keep running that mouth if you want to find out."
I could feel my balls shriveling under the manic glint in Areum's eyes. I hurriedly buckled my seatbelt and stared straight ahead.
"Ha, so you don't actually want to die. Good to know."
"...Just drive."
"Okay. If the decibels go up even a little from there, I'm yanking it."
"Haa..."
The car slid out of the parking lot like it was gliding on ice. I sat there dead silent, reading her every mood.
Screeeech—
We stopped at a light, and Areum's vicious voice followed right on cue.
"Hey. Don't you fucking move. I told you—keep pulling that shit and I'm yanking the wheel."
Faced with words that dripped sincerity, I had no choice but to lower the arm I'd been slowly raising.
"Hey. Wake up."
"Ah... huuh, sorry. Dozed off for a second."
"Dozed off my ass. You were sleeping like a baby. I'm going to the bathroom. You can go or not, I don't care. But just so you know—we're leaving in ten minutes, on the dot."
With that announcement, Areum climbed straight out of the car.
"Ugh... haa..."
If my memory was right, this rest stop was about the halfway point. And at her usual pace, she almost never stopped to rest at all. So even though I didn't particularly need the bathroom, I hauled myself up anyway—figuring I should force out a piss now rather than deal with Areum's inevitable meltdown later when I actually needed one.
"Haaaawn..."
Yawning wide enough to split my jaw, I got out of the car and headed for the restroom.
"Ugh... a little chilly."
If I'd known, I would've brought a jacket. The weather had been warm for autumn day after day—so of course the temperature had to drop today of all days.
Even though it was a weekday, the place was pretty packed. As I stepped into the restroom, I brushed past Areum for a split second.
"Hey, you want something to ea—ah, shit... fucking hell."
The moment our eyes met, Areum vanished like smoke. I dropped any lingering thoughts and headed inside.
"Huuuh..."
I'd only closed my eyes for a bit in the car, but in that short time my dick had gotten pretty stiff. And pissing half-hard felt weirdly off—like something was dragging along the inside of my urethra, a shiver running through me more than usual.
"Huuuugh..."
The back of my neck twitched as I waited for the residual feeling in my bladder to fade. I rinsed my hands half-assedly and checked the time—about four minutes left before Areum's deadline.
I headed straight for the nearest snack counter.
"Uh... ma'am, one of the biggest walnut pastries, and... uh, uhh..."
I was stuck. Areum would've grabbed a hot bar without a second thought—but that was for eating outside. She fundamentally hated eating anything messy in the car. And I was the same way, which was why the decision was dragging on.
"Haa...... And two squid hot bars, please—no sauce."
"Just the plain hot bars?"
"Yes, just the hot bars. Card, please."
The lady took my card, rang it up quickly, and handed it back. The food went into a bag right away.
"What about the hot bars—want them in the bag too, or will you carry them?"
"Both in the bag, please. I'll eat them over there."
"Here you go."
"Thank you. Have a good one."
Thanks to my drawn-out deliberation, the ten minutes were almost up. Still, I figured there was no way she'd leave me here, so I strolled back at a leisurely pace—and quickly learned just how naive that assumption had been.
"Hey! Heeey! You crazy biiiitch!!"
Even though she had to have seen me coming straight at her, Areum's car peeled out of the parking lot without a care in the world. I stared after it with a blank look for a second, then my face flushed red and I started running.
"Ha, haa, fuck, crazy bitch... hoo... goddamn bitch..."
A line of trailer trucks saved my life. Without them, I'd have been completely stranded in the middle of the highway like a discarded duck egg.
I sprinted for the passenger side and yanked on the door.
Rattle— rattle—
Or rather—I tried to yank it open.
"Hey! Open the door! No, shit... this is too far! Heeey! Park Areum!!"
Tap— tap-tap—
I knocked on the window, clinging to whatever reason I had left.
Whiiir—
The window cracked open just enough for our eyes to meet.
"Hey. Ten minutes are up."
"Haa... sorry, I know, just let me in first, okay? Don't you see the cars coming up behind us?"
"Don't wanna."
"Hoo. I said open it."
"Look at that face. Keep that up and you might catch one."
Clinging to the single resolve that I had to endure it today, I clenched my molars hard.
"Heh heh... me? No way. How about we talk for a second first?"
"Ha, talk? The fact that shit like that is coming out of your mouth is giving me chills."
"Hahaha, i-is that so?"
Click—
"Get in, you idiot. You think I'm the same kind of trash as you?"
"Yeees... thaaank youuu..."
I ground my teeth to dust as I climbed into the car.
"You fucker, keep your promises. Did I or did I not say to be back in ten minutes?"
"...I was a little late buying snacks. Isn't that a bit much over that?"
"Is that my problem? You shouldn't have been late in the first place."
"Huu... hoo, fine... you're right. So just eat this, okay?"
I dug the hot bars out of the bag and held them out to her.
"If you spill in the car, are you cleaning it up? Why the fuck do you keep doing shit you never do. It's seriously disgusting."
"There's no sauce on these, so as long as there's no hole in your chin, you won't spill. Please just eat the damn thing."
The tantrum lasted only a moment. The girl who'd been losing her mind seconds ago snatched up that hot bar—smaller than my dick—and shoved it straight into her mouth. Watching her, my still-unsoftened cock gave an involuntary twitch.
"Ah!"
But then she suddenly froze and pulled the hot bar back out. Clear teeth marks stood out on the tip.
"Ah, fuck... what the hell did you do to this. I'm not eating it."
"Hey... please stop being the crazy one and just eat it... I didn't do anything."
"Would you believe you if you were me? Fucker, even if you told me beans make soybean paste, I wouldn't believe you."
"Give it. Fuck, give it here."
This time I all but snatched the hot bar from her hand. I took a big bite out of it and handed it right back.
"Happy? Fuck! Are you happy now?!"
"Ugh, disgusting... shut your mouth."
"Haa... fucking bitch... just drive."
The car rolled forward again, filled only with the quiet hum of the engine and the sound of hot bar being chewed. And as Areum munched away with tiny little bites, I watched pieces of hot bar go plop-plop down onto her skirt.
"Ah... fuck. This is why you shouldn't give me this kind of thing in the car."
"...And that's my fault? Not the hole in your chin?"
"Just give me a wet wipe, fucker."
I shot a small glare at Areum as she barked at me, radiating bad mood from every pore.
"I said give me a wet wipe."
"...Yeah."
Clinging to the iron resolve that I would endure it no matter what today, I pulled out a wet wipe and reached toward her skirt.
"Hey, fuck, just put it in my ha—hnnk! Give it here, you son of a biiiitch!!"
But a little residual resentment made me pretend to wipe it for her—and I slipped my hand under her skirt.
"Ah, come on... I'm just wiping it. Don't be so fucking dramatic."
"Th-this... this is wiping!? Get your hand out! I said get it out, you fucker!!"
Before I could even properly feel the soft texture of her panties under my fingertips, the car started swerving hard and I yanked my hand back in a hurry.
"Y-you! D-drive properly, will you?!"
"I swear to fuck... I told you not to."
"Ah, the front! You crazy bitch! The frooont!!"
I grabbed Areum's face—her eyes locked dead on mine—and forced her to look forward.
"Hand! Get your hand oooooff!!"
"Ah, ah... sorry. Accident, that was a real accident."
The breast my hand brushed against was soft enough even through her clothes.
