The Training Camp
“Let’s go with this one.”
Yas, who had been striding confidently down the hallway, stopped in front of a particular door. Maybe it was just my imagination, but I thought I could hear chattering voices coming from the other side.
Yas glanced back at the rest of us. “Everyone ready?”
“Of course! I’ve been ready since the day I was born.”
“I even cleaned my ears out just for today.”
Wesley and Marin chimed in like they were Yas’s left and right arms. Yas nodded in satisfaction, then his eyes sharpened with a dangerous glint. The other two matched his breathing, exchanging signals.
Abel and I watched them from a step behind.
Are these crazy bastards actually going through with this?
Honestly, I’d half-hoped they’d be satisfied just getting near the girls’ rooms and turn back, but that had clearly been wishful thinking.
At the signal, Yas and his two lackeys rushed the door at the same time.
“Ooh, I can hear them! I can hear them!”
“That’s the sound of girls laughing!”
“What if they’re in their underwear right now?”
Instead of knocking, they pressed their ears against the door to eavesdrop. I, who had already assumed they’d just do some bell-tapping and leave, spun around to flee—only to freeze and blurt out what I was thinking.
“What the fuck are these idiots doing?”
There was a limit to how disgusting something could be! You could maybe excuse bell-tapping as a prank or curiosity, but this was straight-up perverted behavior.
Abel, apparently feeling the same, wore an unusually clear expression of disgust on his face.
“Guys, guys! Just ring the bell and go already, okay? If we get caught, we’re screwed!”
He was so repulsed that even Abel—who had been against bell-tapping until moments ago—was now urging them to do it instead. Of course, none of the three heard him.
“Wait! I hear something. The sound of clothes coming off!”
“Huh?! Really? I don’t hear it!”
“Who’s in this room again? If I knew, I could imagine it in more detail!”
Having thrown away any shred of human dignity in the face of lust, the three grew increasingly vile. Just as I was starting to feel secondhand shame—
“Who’s out there?!”
Along with a familiar voice, footsteps approached from inside the room.
Yas shouted, “Everyone, run!”
At the same time, I turned my back and sprinted down the escape route I’d mapped out earlier. Fortunately, Professor Caelin wasn’t in the connecting hallway. She must still be in the bathroom, fuming after Yas’s confession.
We were only twenty meters from the connecting corridor when—
Creaaak!
“What’s going on? What’s all the noise?”
A door right in front of us opened and a girl stepped out. I sharply cut around the corner without slowing down, dodging her line of sight. The problem was the guys behind me. They took too long to round the corner and got caught in the girls’ radar.
“Kyaaaaah! It’s a guy! There’s a guy here!”
That scream triggered every door in the area to fly open as the female students poured out.
“What?! Where?!”
“Catch them right now!”
“Whoa, guys! This is awesome!”
A few of them sounded strangely welcoming, but most were dead set on capturing the intruders who dared set foot in their sacred domain.
The encirclement tightened until one of us was finally caught.
“Uwaaah! Everyone! Save meee!”
It was Marin, the one who had been giggling creepily while fantasizing about the girls in their underwear.
One by one, the group was picked off.
“No! My glasses!”
Next was Wesley, who had been obsessively fixated on the sound of girls laughing despite his mediocre hearing.
“Abel! I’m disappointed in you!”
“N-no, Yuni! I didn’t want to come!”
Then Abel got caught—by none other than Yuni.
The real problem was that one person had figured out my identity.
“Abel and Yas? If those two are here, that means the last one is that bastard, right? I’ll make sure he never has kids after this.”
It was pure speculation with zero evidence, yet Alissa had guessed correctly. Her chilling words made my crotch instinctively shrink.
Shit, what do I do?
If things continued like this, I’d definitely get caught. Even though I’d grown a lot, I still couldn’t outrun Alissa, and the connecting corridor was probably already occupied by the girls. Escaping was impossible. I’d just keep running and running until I hit a dead end.
Desperately searching for a way out, I suddenly noticed an open door. In that moment, an idea struck me.
The darkest place is under the lamp.
Right now, the girls were searching every corner of the building for the intruders. That meant the rooms themselves were completely empty! It was a half-crazy plan, but if I was going to get caught anyway, betting on a one-percent chance was the smarter move.
Decision made, I dashed straight into the room. I slipped off my shoes and carefully stepped into the forbidden zone.
It smells nice.
It was strange. Men and women were both living creatures, so why did boys’ rooms smell like bachelor musk while girls’ rooms smelled sweet? This wasn’t artificial fragrance—it was the pure, natural scent of women.
That said, the room was still a mess, with clothes scattered everywhere. Compared to the boys’ rooms, it wasn’t any cleaner.
While I was blankly looking around, voices echoed from outside.
“I don’t see any guys! Did they already escape?”
“What? But they didn’t come this way!”
“Still, we don’t see them anymore! Let’s just call it and tell the professors in the morning.”
“Guess we have no choice. Let’s leave a few people to watch these perverts and everyone else go back to their rooms.”
Satisfied with having caught four out of five, the girls left only the minimum number of watchers and returned to their rooms. Footsteps were approaching this room too.
Shit!
Swallowing curses I’d already muttered countless times, I quickly crammed myself into the built-in closet where the blankets were stored. The moment I slid the door shut, the girls entered the room.
“What’s with all the commotion in the middle of the night?!”
“Seriously. It’s late—let’s just sleep.”
“Ugh, I’m exhausted.”
After grumbling, the girls turned off the lights and lay down in their beds. I held my breath inside the closet, waiting. Only after thirty minutes, when snoring filled the room, did I carefully crawl out.
Relying on the moonlight, I tiptoed through the darkened room. Just as I reached the door—
Bang!
The bathroom door right next to me opened, and Deborah stepped out. Our eyes met. Hers widened in shock.
“Ky— Mmph!”
I quickly clamped my hand over her mouth before she could scream and dragged her back into the bathroom. While suppressing her struggles as best I could, I growled into her ear.
“Stay quiet.”
“Mmph! Mmmph!”
“Don’t move. If you keep struggling, I don’t know what I’ll do. Got it?”
After repeated threats, Deborah’s resistance gradually faded.
“If you’ve calmed down, nod your head.”
She immediately nodded. Strangely enough, she was listening very well. It was a huge relief that the one who caught me was Deborah. But I couldn’t relax yet.
Knock knock.
“Is someone in there?”
One of the girls I’d heard earlier had come to the bathroom. This was an unexpected crisis. If she saw me like this, it wouldn’t just be a dorm intrusion—it could be attempted rape.
I urgently instructed Deborah. “Tell her you’re washing up. Hurry!”
“Umm… Luzia, it’s Deborah. I’m washing up right now.”
Unlike what I’d feared—that she might start screaming—Deborah obediently followed my lead. But the other girl sounded suspicious.
“Now? Didn’t you already wash up earlier?”
People usually washed before bed. As if to prove it, Deborah’s body was still warm, her skin not yet cooled. Feeling that warmth through our contact, I urged her again.
“I was running around looking for the guys and got sweaty. Why?”
“Oh, actually, I’m a light sleeper. I can’t sleep without earplugs. I left mine on the shelf earlier—can you hand them to me?”
On the shelf beneath the towel cabinet, sure enough, sat a pair of earplugs. I moved into the blind spot of the door and gestured. Deborah carefully picked them up, opened the door just enough for her hand to fit through, and passed them over.
“H-here. These, right?”
“Yeah! Thanks! But didn’t you say you were washing up? Your hands are completely dry. And you’re still wearing clothes.”
There was a hint of suspicion in her voice. Luzia fell silent for a moment, then asked in a teasing tone.
“You weren’t doing anything weird, were you?”
“W-weird? Like what?”
“You know. That thing.”
“That thing?”
“Yeah. Masturbating.”
The moment she heard that, Deborah flinched. She looked startled, then glanced at me—probably checking my reaction. That was a mistake.
“What? Is there something in there? Don’t tell me you’re using a toy?”
“N-no! I wasn’t doing that!”
“Why are you so surprised? Adults masturbate all the time. What model do you use? You’re from the Magic Tower, right? Their stuff is high quality. I heard they even enchant it with the latest magic—supposedly feels amazing. Can I see it just once?”
“I-I’m serious! There’s nothing like that!”
“Then why did you look over there? Is there a hidden guy or something?”
Luzia, oddly excited by Deborah’s flustered reaction, tried to force her way into the bathroom. Deborah made a pitiful face and blocked her.
“I said no! There really isn’t! Stop pushing.”
“Really? I don’t believe you. Open the door for a second. Why are you so against it? Is it that weird? It’s fine! I use a dildo sometimes too. It’s like… a sense of immorality?”
“Uuuuugh… It’s really not.”
Luzia kept pushing, even revealing her own preferences that no one wanted to hear. But when Deborah looked like she was about to cry, she finally backed down.
“Okay, okay. I won’t look. Why are you about to cry over a joke? You’re usually so cool, but today you’re weirdly cute. Anyway, I’m going. Thanks for the earplugs!”
After expressing her thanks, Luzia left the bathroom and headed back to bed. Deborah let out a sigh of relief.
“Haa… I’m alive.”
Click.
She closed the door and mumbled while looking at me.
“I-I really don’t. Do that.”
“Do what?”
“I don’t do… m-masturbation or anything like that. Don’t misunderstand.”
This was unexpected. I nodded awkwardly at the sudden confession.
“If that’s what you say, then that’s how it is. I’ll believe you.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Anyway, thanks. Thanks to you, I didn’t get caught. Just stay with me for another thirty minutes until everyone’s asleep. Then I’ll leave right away.”
“Okay…”
After that, there was no more conversation. I stood a good distance away from Deborah, and the moment thirty minutes passed, I slipped out of the room. Afterward, I dodged the remaining watchers, rescued Yas, Abel, Wesley, and Marin without a single one left behind, and finally returned to our room.
It had been one hell of a spectacular dawn.
