Training Camp
The night air carried a damp chill as we pressed deeper into the forest. A low, drawn-out groan echoed from the shadows ahead.
Huuuuurgh— A fresh, throbbing cock!
The Virgin Beach Ghost had some kind of dick-detecting sensor installed, because she zeroed in on my impressive package immediately. She was doing everything in her power to get her hands on it. But despite her burning enthusiasm, her movements were laughably simple, making it easy enough to dodge.
The others watching, however, seemed to feel differently.
“Luan, watch out!”
“Run!”
Abel and Yuni’s faces flushed with shame at the ghost’s vulgar words, yet they still shouted warnings my way. They were terrified they might witness their friend getting raped in real time.
“Ugh, she’s so damn persistent!”
I kept weaving away from the ghost’s grasping hands, growing more and more frustrated. As expected, the Virgin Beach Ghost was an undead-type monster, so physical attacks didn’t work on her. The only moment physical force could affect her was during penetration, but there was no way I could fuck her while Abel and Yuni were standing right there watching.
Dealing with her wasn’t easy. Mana-based techniques like sword energy worked, but Abel and Yuni were too flustered by the sudden situation to think of attacking. Of course, the fact that they’d never killed anything in human form before probably played a part too.
As the stalemate dragged on, a voice suddenly rang out from the bushes.
“Found her!”
Yas burst out from the undergrowth on the other side. The moment he spotted the Virgin Beach Ghost, he let out a triumphant cheer. The ghost reacted instantly.
Hiiiiiiik— You lunatic!
No matter how sex-starved a woman might be, even she couldn’t associate with a genuine madman. She trembled violently, clearly horrified. The brief opening gave Abel time to snap out of his panic. He drew his sword in one smooth motion.
From the blade rose pitch-black sword energy, darker than the deepest night.
“Luan, get out of the way!”
“I’m good. Cut her down!”
Before the warning even reached my ears, I had already put two meters between myself and the ghost. Abel charged forward like a sliding shadow and sliced the Virgin Beach Ghost clean in half.
Kyaaaaaaaah!
A piercing shriek that threatened to tear our eardrums apart rang out. Her already faint body melted completely into the air and vanished without a trace.
With that, the situation was finally resolved.
Thud!
Yas dropped to his knees, apparently shocked by the sight of the ghost dissolving right before his eyes.
“No way… My virgin ghost…”
He seemed to have thought this was his golden chance to finally lose his virginity. His reaction was far more intense than I’d expected. The “ferocious” part of his desert tribe nickname wasn’t just for show.
Yas looked up at the sky and screamed.
“Uwaaaaaaaaaah!!”
To anyone who didn’t know better, he looked like a man who had just lost the love of his life. I fought back the urge to smack him on the back of the head and walked over to Abel instead.
“Thanks. Thanks to you, I didn’t get raped.”
“Y-yeah. I’m glad you’re safe.”
“I was so scared something weird was going to happen…”
Yuni clutched her chest in relief, her face turning bright red as she imagined what might have occurred. This girl really does have a perverted side hidden beneath that pure exterior.
“By the way, does this mean we should call Professor Sara over? What do you think, Luan?”
“Hmm. She’ll probably show up soon anyway. Some idiot was screaming pretty loudly just now.”
I glanced sideways at Yas. Abel followed my gaze and nodded.
“That’s true. Then let’s wait a bit.”
We chatted casually among ourselves until, sure enough, Sara appeared not long after.
“You kids! Why are you here?”
“Ah, Professor! We actually just ran into a virgin ghost and took care of it.”
“Is that true? No wonder I couldn’t find her no matter how hard I looked. Good work, Abel. Alright, everyone, let’s head back down. The others are waiting.”
Convinced, Sara let out a small sigh and led us all toward the entrance. The academy would probably request support from the church to conduct a large-scale search of the mountain, just in case. When it came to dealing with undead or ghost-type monsters, the church was the best choice.
I followed behind them, stretching my arms overhead.
‘That takes care of today’s business.’
Now I just needed to get back to the room, wash up, get a good night’s sleep, and prepare for tomorrow.
*
“Yo, buddy! We’re here!”
“Luan, sorry for barging in!”
The moment I lay down in bed after evening roll call, the door flew open and a group of guys poured into the room. There were four of them in total. Abel and Yas, of course, plus two others I’d never even spoken to before.
As I sat up in surprise, my original roommates excitedly slipped out, swapping places with the newcomers.
“What the hell? Why are you guys here?”
“Aww, come on, don’t say it like that! You’re hurting my feelings!”
“Sorry! But it’s the first night of the training camp, so I figured we should spend it with friends.”
I wasn’t sure how Yas had talked him into it, but even Abel seemed determined not to back down tonight. My gaze shifted to the other two.
“Ah, hello! I’m Wesley.”
“I’m Marin! Nice to meet you!”
The one with messy brown hair was Wesley, and the one with blue hair was Marin. Both of them looked extremely nervous about meeting the infamous Luan Priulri. They had clearly been half-dragged here by Yas.
I couldn’t exactly ignore them, so I introduced myself and shook their hands. Then my eyes returned to Yas.
“So, what are we doing for fun?”
“Hahaha! I brought tons of stuff! Pretty much everything you can think of!”
Realizing my question was basically permission, Yas grinned and began pulling out cards and all kinds of board games from his bag. There were games similar to ones from Earth and others that were completely different. Beside him, Wesley and Marin were setting out snacks and drinks.
“What do you wanna play? I know all of them, so you pick. If you don’t know the rules, I’ll teach you slowly!”
“…Then this one.”
Ignoring Yas’s experienced smirk, I picked a board game similar to Jenga. The rules were simple, and experience wouldn’t create too big a gap. Yas seemed to realize my intentions.
“Oho… You chose that one, huh? Fine! Let’s start right away!”
We sat in a circle on the empty floor in front of the beds and began playing. Sometimes we lost, sometimes we won, but one thing was certain: it was genuinely fun. It had been a long time since I could just play without any worries.
Hours passed like that. By the time we crossed into midnight—
“I’m getting a little tired of board games. How about we do something else?”
Yas complained of boredom and gave the rest of the group a meaningful look. I tossed my cards onto the floor.
“Got anything else? Didn’t you only bring board games?”
“Hehehe! Those were just to kill time. How about we go over there? It looks like it’d be fun.”
“Over there…?”
The direction Yas pointed was outside the window. Following his gaze led to the building next door. That was where the girls were staying.
Abel jumped up in alarm.
“N-no way! That’s where the girls are. If we get caught, we’re dead!”
“Tsk tsk! A real man risks his life for his dreams! You’re scared of something like that?”
“That’s completely different! What if rumors spread? I’m against it!”
“Oh? You’re casting a vote against? So you’re saying we should decide by majority vote, right? Luan, what about you?”
“Obviously I’m on this side.”
I quietly sided with Abel. It wasn’t that I had any particular fantasies about sneaking into the girls’ rooms. More importantly, my public image meant I couldn’t participate in something like that. If even a rumor got out, the other transmigrators might grow suspicious.
But things didn’t go as I planned. Yas gave a sly smile and turned his gaze toward Wesley and Marin. As if they had rehearsed it beforehand, both immediately moved to stand behind Yas.
“I agree with Yas.”
“Yeah! A real man should at least try sneaking into the girls’ dorm once!”
Only then did I realize the truth. The real reason these guys had come to this room wasn’t the board games at all. Yas, that horny bastard, had brought Wesley and Marin specifically to force a majority vote.
‘Crazy son of a bitch.’
Yas wore a wicked grin.
“Alright, with a 3-to-2 vote, sneaking into the girls’ rooms has been approved. You two aren’t thinking of backing out now, are you?”
“Ugh… Even so…”
“Abel. Are you really going to be like this? Aren’t you curious what Yuni looks like in her pajamas? Hm? Think about it.”
Realizing that threats alone weren’t enough, Yas began coaxing Abel with sweet words. Abel blinked his pure, innocent eyes and replied,
“I’ve already seen Yuni in her pajamas before…”
“What!? You’ve seen them?”
“Yeah. We’re childhood friends. Sometimes when I went over to her house, she’d be in her pajamas…”
“You’ve already had a formal meeting with her parents!? You deceptive bastard! Wesley, Marin! Hold Abel down!”
“W-wait, aaaaagh! Stop!”
Abel, who had unintentionally touched Yas’s reverse scale, was subjected to an armbar followed by the infamous “motorcycle” technique—having his legs spread and his crotch mercilessly tickled. After screaming and reaching desperately toward me for help, Abel eventually raised the white flag.
“O-okay! I’ll go! I’ll go, so stop!”
“Really? Swear it? If you’re lying, you’re dead!”
“I’m serious! I’ll definitely go!”
Only after Abel repeatedly swore did he finally escape the torture. I patted him on the back.
“Luan, what about you?”
“…If I say I’m not going, are you going to do the same thing to me?”
“Who knows? I can’t say what kind of price you’ll end up paying, though.”
“Sigh… Fine, fine. I’ll go.”
“Yes! Then everyone, get ready to move out!”
Having finally achieved unanimous consent, Yas was overjoyed and immediately began planning. I thought to myself,
‘Well, as long as we don’t get caught.’
As long as the professors didn’t find out, there was no real downside to joining them. If things went south, I could always sacrifice one of them as a decoy and escape. I was confident I could survive.
A short while later, we slipped out of the room.
“Shhh— Everyone move carefully. We don’t know who might be keeping watch.”
At Yas’s warning, we all nodded silently. The professors weren’t spreading out their senses for the sake of student privacy, but their basic physical abilities were on a completely different level from ours. Especially the close-combat professors—if they caught us, we were as good as done.
Soon, we arrived in front of the connecting corridor. Once we crossed it, we’d be in the girls’ building. The problem was that a professor was standing guard right in the middle.
‘Caelin Madres.’
The woman who was always at odds with Sara. Her beautiful golden hair shone brilliantly even under the cheap lighting, and her clear emerald eyes seemed to brighten everything around her. She was a noble lady with a refined yet somewhat prickly appearance.
Yas made a hand gesture.
—I’ll draw her attention, so you guys cross during the opening. Got it? I’ll catch up later.
That was the general meaning. We tilted our heads in confusion for a moment, then nodded, figuring he’d handle it. Yas gave us a thumbs-up and stepped out past the wall.
Step. Step.
His footsteps echoed loudly on purpose. An immediate response came back.
“Who’s there? What are you doing here at this hour?”
“Professor Caelin. The guys in our room are fighting. Could you come over for a moment?”
“Fighting? Where? Lead the way!”
“Yes. Please follow me.”
I didn’t know how he planned to handle it, but Yas had successfully lured Caelin away. We held our breath behind the wall, waiting until she was far enough, then quickly crossed the connecting corridor once everything fell silent.
We stopped only after moving a little further.
“Phew… We made it. But what about Yas?”
Even though Yas had just bombed his own precious opportunity, Abel still looked worried as he glanced back at the corridor we had crossed. Wesley and Marin, now without their leader, fidgeted awkwardly, unsure what to do.
‘Now what?’
About three minutes passed like that. Then we heard footsteps slowly approaching. Yas appeared with a relaxed expression.
“Oh, you guys were here?”
“Yas. You’re safe?”
“Of course. Did you really doubt me?”
“But how did you get here so easily? You told her the guys were fighting and took her away. Didn’t you get in trouble?”
When Wesley and Marin asked excitedly, Yas proudly recounted his tale.
“Heh, actually, after I took her there, I confessed.”
“Confessed?”
“Yeah. I told her I liked her and asked her out.”
“Then what?”
“She rejected me, obviously. So I grabbed her skirt, crying and begging her to date me. She looked really annoyed. Eventually she pretended to give up and followed me, but then she got irritated and headed to the bathroom. I took that chance to run over here.”
“I see…”
To think he would endure such humiliation just for this brief moment of fun. In a way, he really was impressive.
While the whole group stared at him in stunned silence, Yas pointed ahead as if nothing had happened.
“Anyway, now it’s time to peep on the girls’ rooms. Everyone, focus up. The finish line is right in front of us. Let’s go!”
Do we really have to keep following this madman?
That was the single thought running through everyone’s minds at that moment.
