The Vulgar Dwarf
After finishing my audience with the ill-mannered Isabel, I returned to my room only to find it empty. Ten minutes earlier, right after I’d come back, I’d run into Raibel as she was leaving. Her forehead glistened with beads of sweat, and both hands carried a water bucket and a mop.
“Ah! Young Master, are you finished talking with the Mistress?”
“Thanks to you. Heading out now?”
“Yes! The cleaning is all done, woof!”
Beyond Raibel’s shoulder, the fruits of her labor were plain to see. The floor that had been slick with semen was now spotless.
“...”
Suddenly Raibel pushed her head toward me, waiting in silence for something. She wants me to pet her, right?
“Good work, Raibel.”
I gently stroked between her ears. She looked as if she were savoring her master’s reward.
“It was nothing, hehe. Then I’ll be on my way.”
Just as she was about to leave with a spring in her step after receiving as much of my touch as she wanted, I stopped her.
“Wait! I have a favor to ask of you, Raibel.”
Her ears tilted curiously to either side as she looked at me.
“A favor?”
“Yeah. I want to go out to the village. Will you come with me?”
“To the village… for a walk? Yes! Woof!”
At the word “walk,” her ears perked straight up. It’s not exactly a walk, it’s an outing… but whatever.
Raibel was so excited she was practically hopping in place.
“I’ll get ready as fast as I can!”
She dashed down the hallway with a clatter. Water droplets flew from the bucket in her hands and soaked the innocent carpet.
“She really is just a kid.”
Of course, the way her heavy breasts and plump ass bounced had nothing childlike about them. I watched her retreating figure for a moment, then stepped back into my room.
“Alright. Let’s do a quick status check before Raibel gets back.”
I opened my status window.
“Status window!”
“Five charm points from the quest reward, and four stamina points from the fellatio. Plus one point in strength.”
Did my strength go up while she was sucking me off?
It wasn’t completely unreasonable. In the real medical world, regular sex was sometimes considered a form of exercise. Who the hell gets to have sex their whole life, though? There was a time I used to think that, but now that I’d possessed an adult game, actual stat gains from sex seemed entirely possible.
Just the slight increase in stamina and strength made my body feel far less painful than when I’d first taken over Arwen’s frail form.
“I’m really looking forward to what happens when I have regular sex instead of just oral.”
The thought of trying out all kinds of positions under the pretext of raising stats put me in a good mood.
Back to the present.
“She’s taking forever to get ready.”
Women always took a while to prepare to go out, but Raibel was taking so long I started to wonder what kind of epic preparations she was making for a simple walk.
“She’s not actually coming back with a collar on, is she?”
I remembered how happy she’d looked when I said we were going for a walk in the village. And when walking a dog, a leash was basic etiquette.
“Master, please take Raibel for a walk. Woof♡”
The image of a naked Raibel wearing nothing but a collar, begging in a submissive pose, played automatically in my head.
“Oh man… that’s actually really hot.”
If Raibel ever allowed it, it was definitely something I wanted to try at least once.
Just then, a heavy knock on the door snapped me out of my lewd daydream.
“Ahem. Come in.”
The person who opened the door and stepped inside was Raibel, finally finished preparing for our outing. Naturally, there was no collar. She must have run all the way here; her breathing was ragged.
Raibel straightened the wide-brimmed sun hat decorated with a yellow flower and said,
“Huff… huff… Did you wait long?”
A loose coat hung over her maid uniform, modestly covering her short skirt and deep cleavage. She scratched her head with an apologetic expression.
“Sorry… I got a little lecture…”
“A lecture?”
“Senior Rozel scolded me for abandoning my cleaning area and running off. Hehe.”
Rozel was probably another maid in the mansion. Raibel’s shoulders flinched when she said the name. She must have been pretty scary.
“Sorry. It’s because you were cleaning my room, right?”
“Ah, no! You don’t need to apologize, Young Master!”
Raibel waved her hands frantically, looking mortified. The basket in her hand jingled with coins.
“Forgetting things and getting scolded is just a normal day for Raibel, so it’s fine. Hehe.”
“…I see.”
She really was an incredibly positive girl—just like I’d felt while playing the game. I threw on a hooded coat and said,
“Alright. Let’s head to the village.”
“Yes!”
Raibel and I passed through the mansion’s main gate and headed toward the village. It was only a ten-minute walk from the estate. The village was called Schubern. It was a small settlement that perfectly blended a medieval fantasy atmosphere with a touch of Victorian flair. Still, it had everything a starting village in a game needed: a blacksmith, a general store, a pawn shop, an adventurers’ guild, and so on.
Time to put the hood up.
I had no desire to draw attention. For now, I just wanted to quietly look around the village.
As soon as we entered Schubern, the lively voices of the residents washed over us like background music.
“Kyahaha~ Catch me if you can!”
“Alf, over here!”
Children running and playing in the streets. The rhythmic clang of a blacksmith’s hammer. Snippets of conversation from the adventurers’ guild.
“Hey, Luther, when are those goblin claws coming in?”
“Beats me. Ask Mr. Valion this afternoon.”
The sights, sounds, and smells of Schubern that I had only ever seen through a monitor now stimulated all five of my senses. The vibrant clamor of people who had never existed as mere text made me realize—this world was real.
While I was distracted taking everything in, Raibel asked,
“Young Master, is there anywhere you’d like to go first?”
“Well…”
The whole reason I’d bowed my head to Isabel and asked for permission to go out was to meet Wolfgang of Schubern. The Wolfgang brothers were dwarf merchants who appeared in Elysia Story. No matter how big a quest was, you would always find a Wolfgang waiting in the village.
They were a pair of eccentric dwarves who hid their real names and simply operated under the shared name Wolfgang. They had no interest in giving humans their true names, but the items they sold were filled with the developers’ kindness.
In other words: Stuck on a quest? Just buy something from Wolfgang.
Aside from unique quest or dungeon rewards, the items Wolfgang sold were the strongest you could buy in any village. And naturally, their prices were equally outrageous—easily ten times more expensive than anything else in the shops.
How many hours did I grind just to buy those Ogre Leather Gauntlets?
The horrible memory of spending over ten hours hunting nothing but slimes in the eastern hunting grounds after failing to defeat Masha about twenty times in my first playthrough came flooding back. Of course, in the second playthrough I’d cut off Masha Valeri’s head without needing Wolfgang’s help.
“Let’s head to the plaza first.”
“Understood. Woof!”
Wolfgang’s stall in Schubern was located under a bridge on the western side of the plaza. Normally you’d have to accept a sub-quest from the tavern owner called “The Eccentric Merchant” to learn his location, but since I already knew where he was, there was no need to waste time.
Warm sunlight bathed the path leading to the plaza. Raibel shaded her eyes with one hand and looked up at the dazzling sky.
“The weather is really nice today.”
“It really is. Perfect weather for a walk with you, Raibel.”
“Right? Hehe.”
We chatted about nothing in particular as we walked, and before long the central plaza came into view. Soldiers in full armor were patrolling the area. Each carried a shield emblazoned with the dragon symbol of the Reinhardt family and a sword at their hip. If this were a battlefield, their imposing presence would have broken the enemy’s will in an instant.
Yet the villagers didn’t seem the least bit intimidated by the heavily armed soldiers. Instead, they exchanged warm greetings like old friends.
Some of these soldiers probably recognize my face.
I pulled my hood down lower and carefully moved away from their patrol route.
“Raibel, this way.”
“Huh? Wait for me.”
Luckily the soldiers didn’t seem to realize who I was. I walked alongside a flustered Raibel toward the western side of the plaza.
Just as we were almost at our destination, a loud growl erupted from my stomach like a trumpet blast.
“Young Master, are you hungry?”
“Now that you mention it, I haven’t eaten anything all day.”
Unlike Raibel, who had drunk her fill of fresh semen that morning, my stomach was completely empty. When Elysia Story was just a game, there was no hunger mechanic. No matter how long you fought, a quick nap at an inn restored all your stamina. But this was reality. If the already frail Arwen skipped meals, he might just collapse and die without warning. And Arwen dying meant I would be crossing the Jordan River myself.
Raibel thumped her large breasts confidently.
“It’s okay! You have Raibel!”
She flashed a bright smile, then suddenly grabbed my hand and started pulling me somewhere.
“Follow me.”
“Uh, wait—?”
She was surprisingly strong. I had no choice but to let her drag me along. The place she took me to was a street lined with stalls selling fruit, meat, and all kinds of snacks. The delicious aromas floating through the air made my stomach rumble even louder.
I didn’t come to this area much even when I was playing the game.
Since potions restored health more efficiently than food, there had been no reason to visit. But now, skewers, pies, and all sorts of tempting treats called out to me.
When in doubt, ask the expert.
“Raibel, any recommendations?”
“Of course! Hehe. Leave it to Raibel, who has four years of snacking experience while running errands.”
With complete confidence, she led me to an apple pie stall. The sweet aroma of baked pie and the kind smile of the old woman running the stand greeted us.
“Hello, Mrs. Martel.”
“Welcome, Raibel. Already out shopping?”
“No, today we’re on a walk. Hehe.”
Raibel handed over four silver coins.
“Two apple pies, please.”
“Coming right up, dear. Just a moment.”
The crisp sound of the pie crust made my mouth water. When Mrs. Martel handed the pies to Raibel, a mischievous smile spread across her face.
“A date with your lover in broad daylight? How lovely.”
“Ah! It’s not like that…”
Mrs. Martel waved her hand as if to say it was fine, then looked at me.
“Is this young man also from the mansion?”
“Yes, that’s right…”
She gently took my hand and said warmly,
“Then please take good care of our Young Master along with Raibel. It must have been very hard since the Lord passed away.”
“…I will.”
Raibel watched us with anxious eyes. Mrs. Martel smiled again.
“Come back anytime, young man~ And Raibel, see you next time.”
Leaving Mrs. Martel’s warm farewell behind, we each bit into an apple pie and headed toward the river. The gentle kindness in her touch still lingered on my hand. From the way the soldiers and villagers had interacted earlier, it was clear the people of the territory genuinely loved the Reinhardt family.
Don’t worry, Mrs. Martel. I won’t let those Valeri bastards run wild as they please.
I savored the pie, which burst with sweet apple jam with every bite, and renewed my resolve. I would definitely crush the filthy ambitions of House Valeri with my own cock.
By the time we’d finished the pies and they had settled comfortably in our stomachs, we arrived at the bridge where Wolfgang’s shop was located.
“This way.”
I gestured to Raibel and started down the stairs. She followed closely behind, trotting down the steps.
“Why are we coming to such a secluded place?”
“You’ll understand when you see it.”
As we reached the bottom of the bridge, just as I expected, Wolfgang’s shop came into view. Heh, everything’s going smoothly.
It wasn’t much of a shop—just a rickety cart with a tattered tarp stretched over it. Beside the cart, a shaggy donkey lay lazily chewing on hay. Even when we approached, it only snorted softly and paid us no mind.
“Ahem. Is anyone here?”
When I called out, there was a rustling sound from under the tarp. Then came a loud crash, followed by the appearance of Wolfgang holding a liquor bottle in one hand.
“Ugh…”
Raibel’s nose twitched. Without even speaking a word, the heavy stench of alcohol rolled off him.
“Hic… Who the hell are you two?”
A hairy old man with his hand down his pants, scratching away. The crude behavior and the vulgar way of speaking were exactly the Wolfgang I remembered.
