Hunter Four-Cuts? This Is a Hit (2)
The gallery had lost its collective mind over the new feature.
While the users of the Hunter Gallery were laughing their heads off over the Hunter Four-Cuts that followed the potion crisis, there was one man who couldn't join in the fun.
He had seen a post praising Ju-ddak while tearing into the Muggle Moim, and his whole body was shaking with rage. The tattoo on the man's arm read Good People and Good Seats.
A giant man well over 190 centimeters tall slammed his desk. Every time he raged, mana flashed and ran along the tattoos covering his entire body.
He was the founding Guild Master of Muggle Moim—one of the three major guilds and known as the mage guild. Nam Seonuk. People called him Bandalf.
Muggle Moim, the very first guild formed after the gates opened, had quickly gathered every awakened person connected to magic. Among them were Arcane Scholars who could create mysterious artifacts and Alchemists who produced rare potions. On top of that, they had mages who handled mana-infused items and took charge of combat.
The goods they crafted from magic stones harvested from monsters quickly replaced the essence of modern science that had vanished because of the Demon King. That alone was more than enough reason for them to dominate the market. Eventually Muggle Moim even created a black market and swept up enormous profits. Some even called them the Mage Cartel.
In the end, Muggle Moim's main source of income had been consumables.
But Ju-ddak was now threatening that very income.
Today isn't going to be easy.
Lee Hanshin, vice guild master of Muggle Moim, was busy trying to read the room beside his furious leader. It wasn't that he didn't understand the guild master's anger. Until now, people had cursed the prices but still bought and drank the potions anyway.
Potions are premium.
Expensive but reliable performance.
Yet the moment Ju-ddak opened the treasure shop, people's perception of potions had crashed overnight.
Potions are a total rip-off.
Serves those fucking mages right.
Cheap and actually good performance.
What about the golem drive core? Lee Hanshin had been ready to pay eight billion won to replace one, but even that opportunity had vanished thanks to Ju-ddak. The smug look on Hunter Management Bureau Director Lee Seungchul's face was still burned into his memory.
"Yes… There's a rumor that one user traded a drive core for some furniture. It looks like they put the deal on hold because Ju-ddak can register items in the treasure shop again."
Just from Nam Seonuk's roar the wooden desk split cleanly in two as mana surged upward. And that wasn't all. The Arcane Scholars' revolutionary invention—the Rune of Storage! It was just as popular with non-awakened people as potions were, since it could be used on real physical objects and not just inside the gallery. Yet the sudden appearance of Hunter Four-Cuts had made storage stones obsolete.
Lee Hanshin answered cautiously.
The bone-chilling warning made Lee Hanshin clear his throat repeatedly.
"Guild Master. The alchemists and arcane scholars are worried whether their salaries will be paid properly. They're also starting to question our grand plan."
"Both, Guild Master."
Nam Seonuk stayed silent for a moment.
"That is correct, Guild Master."
"It appears even the Management Bureau hasn't identified his identity yet. Therefore we also…"
"By wait, you mean…?"

"Whoa."
After Hunter Four-Cuts dropped, the number of breast posts on the gallery had tripled. I was sitting at my desk in the absolute worst posture for my lower back, happily scrolling through the gallery.
Click! Click! Click!
The shutter sound rang out across the entire gallery.
And so the trending word that spread through the gallery was click!
The mages had poured their blood, sweat, and tears into making storage stones, but I achieved the same result with a simple snap! Or whatever. Anyway, combining the two sounds eventually created click! The feel of the word wasn't bad, and more than anything the users were having fun with it.
"Kyaa!!! Now this is a proper click!"
Of course that much was perfectly fine. Even I was having a hard time standing up at the moment.
What I was happily staring at wasn't the users themselves, but that particular post. Was it just my imagination that the words Ju-ddak-nim written by the poster looked exactly like Master? I couldn't tell.
Click! had now completely become a meme. It looked ready to earn its own entry in the dictionary.

There was no better bait than a contest. "It does feel a bit sloppy, but if you don't like it then just Ju-ddak it."
Since it really was a sloppy contest, everyone could participate with an easy mind. I didn't have that many points left anyway. I could just throw a decent item to the winner.
Entry posts were already starting to appear. Half of them were skin-colored. Was this a porn board? Anything with too high a level would need to be banned.
Will you block this user?
Block duration: 30 minutes.
Reason: Level adjustment required.
[Yes]
A simple warning block was enough to set the standard for lewd images. They would adjust themselves from now on.
True arousal doesn't come from revealing everything. Though bare breasts were still perfectly righteous, of course.
Sure enough, user-created disgusting images started appearing. A photo of a ghoul's rotten genitals. How many times did that guy have to blink to capture that?
Will you block this user?
Block duration: 10,000,000 days.
Reason: Don't blink. Keep your eyes closed forever.
[Yes]
Surely they weren't only using Hunter Four-Cuts to manufacture dirty pictures? Then again, what if the contest winner ended up being a dirty picture…?
"That can't happen…"
Ju-ddak suddenly felt a wave of anxiety.
