Ju-ddak-bbang (1): The Manager's Shoulders Are Heavy

The manager's armband weighs heavy on my shoulders. I tried to turn off Hero Mode, only for Ju-ddak Mode to switch on instead. After cleaning up the chaos in reality and normalizing the real world, now I had to normalize the gallery from these walking tactical nukes of videos. And this time, without spamming bans everywhere.

“Anyway, I’ll leave this side to the Pa-ttaks for a bit.”

I headed off to save the gallery in my own way.

The Hunter addicts pulled out their classic “do it” move again. They really can’t be stopped. Either way, the madness surrounding the walking tactical nukes had shifted somewhere else. My initial goal of normalizing the gallery without mass-banning had been partially achieved. Plus, I was starting to understand what these guys actually wanted.

“These Hunter addicts are just dopamine junkies!”

When you think about it, both the gallery and reality had become apocalyptic, so maybe everyone was desperate for entertaining arguments. Thanks to that, the collective madness that had been aimed at CS clips had been redirected. Its new target? The “what’s the ratio?” judgment system known as Ju-ddak-bbang! I just had to make sure things didn’t get too overly invested, or they’d start fighting for real.

“This should be a good starting point.”

“Gallery manager duties successfully performed.”

I had successfully steered the gallery’s bait in the right direction. The best part was that doing Ju-ddak-bbang turned out to be genuinely fun. I’d kept it a bit playful, but the fault ratio judgments were pretty sincere. Honestly, watching the hunters bicker had been so frustrating my mouth had been itching to speak up. If I said it outright they’d call me a contrarian or a concept-chaser and it would’ve stung a little. Borrowing the bait like this made it much easier. It was secretly a bit healing. Fact is, my mental health was improving.

“This might actually be pretty good?”

“Nice! Healing time!”

Not banning people and normalizing the gallery seems to count as positive influence. I get to heal my mental state and farm points at the same time? This is absolutely golden. I’m already excited about what kind of big event I’ll throw next. I do need to stockpile points to prepare for the forces of darkness. There’s no telling when those precious and noble? Hunter addicts might become targets again.

“I’ll play around a bit more and then upgrade the hunters!”

Ju-ddak disappeared with a huge grin, off to deliver another verdict. And so the entire Hunter Gallery began going crazy over the magical phrase “what’s the ratio?”

But things in this world don’t always flow smoothly. What one person does purely for the sake of the gallery can become a vicious storm for someone else. While Ju-ddak was completely absorbed in entertaining the uncontrollable Hunter addicts, in a corner of the Hunter Gallery a post that had nothing to do with Ju-ddak-bbang went up.

In one corner of the Hunter Gallery, screams of despair and bursts of ecstatic laughter began ringing out in turns.
