Taken (3): OneHandfulDan's Report Post (4)
As Ju-ddak predicted, the two criminal executives abandoned their subordinates and fled. We were waiting at Neverland Station exactly as Ju-ddak planned.

The two executives appeared before us with only the D-class Porter in tow. The main force is expected to arrive here shortly.

In accordance with the contract terms set by Ju-ddak, we will rescue the D-class Porter.

Everything was flowing exactly according to my strategy. It was a little self-congratulatory, sure, but there was nothing more satisfying than when a perfectly crafted plan clicked into place without a single deviation. Still, it wasn’t over yet. Only the final stage of my strategy remained. I couldn’t relax until I saw the post confirming the porter’s successful rescue.
“The OneHandfulDan main force should be arriving via teleport scroll any second now…”
Boom!
“Dodge it!”
Gukgeori-jangdan and Kwaenggari had teleported into Neverland Station and were now getting relentlessly beaten.
They had believed Kwaenggari’s teleportation skill would let them escape pursuit. The hunters, however, had never intended to chase them. They had already been waiting.
“Indomitable Shield!!”
“Ruinous Slash!”
“Thunder Fist!”
What awaited Gukgeori-jangdan and Kwaenggari were highly skilled veteran close-combat specialists. The elite force personally selected and positioned by Ju-ddak.
“Damn it…!”
“Veil of Concealment, fool!”
Gukgeori-jangdan hurriedly hid himself inside the veil.
“Sense his presence!”
“That veil won’t last long anyway.”
“Take out the executive using vibration magic first!!”
All he could do now was hide and buy time. Everything was Gukgeori-jangdan’s mistake. Had the battle at the exit also been part of the calculations? Looking back, Ju-ddak had already accounted for the fact that he couldn’t command in real time.
Send twenty as the vanguard to draw the Cheonggaeguri-dan’s attention, strike from the rear with ten, and station the remaining ten at the exact spot where they would teleport to escape. If all forty had fought together, even OneHandfulDan would have been thrown into chaos. He must have planned with all of that in mind.
Moreover, how had Ju-ddak known they would appear here? Had he foreseen it? It was impossible to understand.
A meticulous yet simple strategy. Perfect troop placement. Only now did Gukgeori-jangdan begin to realize, even if only a little. He had let his guard down. The word “careless” wasn’t even enough.
“This is my arrogance. My hubris…. No…. This is Ju-ddak’s greatness. A level on a completely different dimension…”
He had practiced countless villainous lines, but his head was so filled with the thought “I got completely owned by Ju-ddak” that none of them would come out.
Ju-ddak had sat in his room and predicted all of this. Just who the hell was he? Was he truly a hero? Or a hidden S-class Hunter?
What tormented Gukgeori-jangdan even more was the constant alarm from the admin chat. It seemed he hadn’t been banned from the gallery yet.
“I must not open the gallery…”
The price for running his mouth was waiting for him. It would surely be filled with Ju-ddak’s savage mockery. It might be more humiliating than death itself. But Gukgeori-jangdan’s foolish curiosity got the better of him, and he peeked at the Hunter Gallery.
“Ah…. Aaaah…”
(Rough collection of every comment Gukgeori-jangdan made in the admin chat. JPG)
He was merely a commoner born in the era where I exist.
A true commander secures victory from his seat….
“Uwaaaaaagh!!”
The endless stream of comments that followed was filled with nothing but mockery aimed at Gukgeori-jangdan.
- [Ju-ddak]: Gukgeori-jangdan, you sober yet?
- [Ju-ddak]: How’s that Ju-ddak Punch feel?
- [Ju-ddak]: (Do you feel the power gap? meme)
- [Ju-ddak]: Hey hey lmao go on and say “it” again lmao
Just as he was about to close the gallery, a comment caught his eye.
That was simple deduction too lol. Think about it — if they were high-ranking executives of a secret organization that had never shown their faces before, and the guy who was giving orders through secret messages in the gallery suddenly got exposed to the whole world, would they really take him with them to the end? Of course they’d cut off the tail, lmao.
If you bastards mess with me you’ll die!!! And that goes for the real-world chaos causers too lol. From now on, if you want to cause chaos you’ll have to go through Ju-ddak first.
“No…. No way…. This can’t be happening….”
Gukgeori-jangdan was still reeling from the Ju-ddak Punch when a shout rang out.
“There’s Gukgeori-jangdan!!”
His concealment had already worn off.
“Dark Vibration. Formula Third Chapter. ‘Rupture.’”
Boom!
Kwaenggari’s magic bought them a brief moment.
“Kwaenggari-nim…. Was I really just a low-ranking grunt, fool…?”
Gukgeori-jangdan barely regained his senses and asked Kwaenggari.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about…”
“I thought ‘that person’ trusted me and therefore allowed me to issue commands through secret messages in the gallery, fool…”
“....”
“Tell me it’s not true, fool!!!”
Kwaenggari gave no answer. Instead he gathered aura and unleashed terrifying power.
“Dark Vibration. Formula Ninth Chapter. ‘Genesis.’”
“Brace yourselves!!”
“Indomitable Shield!!”
Boom!!!
“Uwaaaaagh…”
As expected of Kwaenggari-nim!! He had been hiding his true power!!! He was just toying with the hunters on purpose!!
“Kwaenggari-nim!! This is our chance, fool!!! Quickly take me and the hostage and teleport—”
“The fact that this operation was exposed is entirely your fault, Gukgeori-jangdan…”
“What, fool?”
“‘That person’ only told us to do it in moderation and return…. And if things went wrong, to abandon the ‘lackey.’”
“If you’re talking about a lackey…. Does that include me too, fool?”
“Correct…”
Kwaenggari was preparing to teleport. He was going to abandon the hostage D-class Porter as well.
“Kwaenggari-nim!! Take me with you, fool!!!”
“There isn’t enough mana for two people to move now…”
Mana rippled around Kwaenggari. A small portal opened.
“Hunters should engrave this in your minds. This is not the end… The Cheonggaeguri-dan will return!”
As Kwaenggari issued his warning, the portal swallowed him. And just like that, Kwaenggari was gone.
Now only Gukgeori-jangdan remained. The scattered main force of OneHandfulDan was appearing from every direction using teleport scrolls.
“Secure the hostage first!!”
“Grab the tied-up D-class Porter!!”
“Uwaaaagh! Please spare me!”
He was alone. Abandoned. Ju-ddak had even predicted he would be discarded. Ju-ddak was a god, and he was a mere commoner. That person had considered him nothing but a disposable underling. All the resentment ultimately pointed toward one man.
Gukgeori-jangdan quietly prepared his own ultimate secret technique.
“I am the fifth-ranked member of the Cheonggaeguri-dan. Gukgeori-jangdan.”
The ultimate technique that demanded his own life in exchange for immense power! He would pour it all onto the D-class Porter! He would take the porter with him as a companion in death. It was all because of that bitch.
“This is all your fault, fool.”
Since he would be executed even if he survived, it didn’t matter anymore.
“Gukgeori-jangdan is aiming for the hostage!!”
“Wait…. This power is not something we can withstand…”
“That bastard!! Don’t tell me… he’s going to self-destruct!”
“We’re all going to get caught in it!!!”
The moment he gathered the condensed energy at the tip of his dagger and prepared to detonate it—
A sudden alarm rang from the admin chat.
- [Ju-ddak]: Ah! Gukgeori-jangdan.
- [Ju-ddak]: You’re not trying to take the porter with you as a companion in death, are you?
- [Ju-ddak]: He’s wearing an Ego Necklace. It’s A-class. You know that, right?
- [Ju-ddak]: I didn’t give it to the porter for this exact situation, but…
- [Ju-ddak]: Since you guys created this mess… oh well.
- [Gukgeori-jangdan]: What the hell does that mean!!!!!!
- [Ju-ddak]: Ah! So this is your first time dealing with an Ego item!
- [Ju-ddak]: The thing is… even if the owner can’t handle the equipment perfectly…
- [Ju-ddak]: There’s no Ego that would kill its own master, you know?
- [Ju-ddak]: Or to put it another way, there’s no Ego that will just let its master die quietly….
- [Ju-ddak]: That necklace will deploy a sacred protective barrier;; It’s an A-class necklace after all lol
- [Ju-ddak]: Just… keep that in mind…. lol
- [Ju-ddak]: Good luck! ~fool!
Ju-ddak…. Did you even predict that I would try to self-destruct, fool…?
If you had told me sooner, fool, I wouldn’t have used the self-destruct technique.
“You son of a bitch, fool…”
One of the characteristics of all self-destruct techniques: once activated, they cannot be stopped. Gukgeori-jangdan’s extremely rapid regret began.
