Hunter Gallery's Gall Cup (2): So Which Awakening Is More Cost-Effective?
So that means I’m the same vote as the bastard who picked the ice school?
Bboggulrom sat in the middle of the wide training field and let out a long sigh. All around him, the shouts of his guild members echoed.
“Hup! Haah!”
They were training their bodies again today. Every guild used the gallery. Even the villain unions. But the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club could barely manage it. The reasons were obvious and numerous.
When Bboggulrom answered like that, the reply that came back was usually,
Other times?
“....”
That was the kind of answer he usually got. It had been over ten years since the gallery appeared, so why did they refuse to use it, yo-u… Every time I join a guild recruitment post I just get called a boomer and cursed at, yo-u… I’m ‘actually’ young, yo-u… Recruiting new members is getting harder and harder, yo-u…
He had become guild master because he was drawn to the manly, macho vibe of wizards-averse, body-training extremists, but it hadn’t been easy. Since they weren’t exposed to new information, the guild had grown more and more closed off. Or rather, they had already turned into a group of old-timers who reeked of nothing but manual labor.
Bboggulrom didn’t want that. But this time the new Ju-ddak of the gallery had given them the perfect justification!
Everyone has something they just can’t resist. Young people always say “I can’t hold back on this!” at the slightest provocation. And for the guild members, that irresistible thing was voting and colors.
“A vote? They still have places that do votes?”
“?!”
Exactly. For the guild members, voting and color were the ultimate “I can’t hold back on this.” Why hadn’t he, the leader of the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club, realized such a simple desire? It was embarrassing. But at the same time, it was also a little frightening.
The Muggle Meeting had already collapsed after trying to uncover Ju-ddak’s identity. Ju-ddak surely already held detailed information on every guild. And yet he had rolled out a patch that perfectly matched their needs. If so…?
Ju-ddak… To think you saw straight through our guild members’ needs. I respect you so much, yo-u. To be able to encourage gallery activity this easily, yo-u. On top of that, Ju-ddak was a person of incredible ability no one had seen before. His identity still wasn’t known, but if they joined hands with him, it could only be beneficial. There would be absolutely no loss.
It might even become a crucial turning point for the steadily declining combat power of the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club. It was also perfect for keeping their official rival, the One Handful Group, in check. Perhaps Ju-ddak was testing whether the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club was worthy of being an ally.
Alright. Ju-ddak! I will pass your test! And I will reach out to you before the One Handful Group does, yo-u!
Bboggulrom shot up from his seat. He walked over to the guild members.
What the hell? I thought I saw some boomer speech for a second. Must have been a mistake? There were also a ridiculous number of comments. The Gall Cup posts had so much firepower that the thread got buried instantly and I couldn’t find it again. Seeing a tone I’d never seen before suddenly pop up felt way too unfamiliar. Probably just some random concept troll, right?
Title: [DemonKing123] All You Worthless Trash, Listen Up!!!
Black bean noodles VS spicy seafood noodles. To think you humans are splitting into two sides and fighting over something like this. Your species truly cannot unite!!
But… is it really that delicious??? I want to try it myself at least once…
Anyway, humans need a powerful leader like me! Then there will be no need for annoying things like votes! Kneel before the Demon King!!
Kuhahaha!
“Yeah. With concept characters like this running around, one boomer speech isn’t that weird.”
I went back to looking for fun Gall Cup posts like the yellow-haired guy. Then I found a hot post. It was Elsa’s Gall Cup thread.
“But why are there so many votes on this? Over ten thousand people voted.”
There were a ton of comments too. Could this be some insanely fun Gall Cup I didn’t know about?
Title: [Elsa] Fundamental Magic School Vote. (Coldly)
Participants: [10463]
Current Status
1. Water School Magic [58%] VS 2. Ice School Magic [42%]
Everyone who voted for water school magic deserves to die. (Icily)
What the… I hadn’t seen wrong. Come to think of it, the number of gallery users had suddenly exploded. Were these guys really the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club? But why did they suddenly show up?
Title: Ugh These Boomers Are Killing Me lol
I have an uncle in the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club and lol he said they’re all going to start actively using the gallery because there’s a vote on lololol
lololololololol fuck lololol
Just from the name alone, the Han Sarang Mountaineering Club was obviously a gathering of old-school, hand-to-hand combat boomers if you looked through the gallery even a little. A group of manly men who avoided magic and relied extremely heavily on physical techniques. Even back when I was a hero there were groups that chased that kind of romance. But in the end, magic is still superior in performance. Did they really come to the gallery just because the vote function opened? I couldn’t tell.
Still stunned, I looked at the newly uploaded post and couldn’t hide my shock. Ah… my head hurts.
